Hello,
This is a menopause meditation for you.
Find yourself a peaceful and nurturing space where you'll be undisturbed for the next few minutes.
Feel free to do this meditation sitting,
Lying down,
Or in a position that's right for you,
A position that makes you feel comfortable and safe.
Let's begin by bringing ourselves into a calm and peaceful place and state of mind.
We'll start by taking a deep breath in through our nose and releasing it through our mouth.
We'll do this to a count of four on the inhale,
Holding at the top of that inhale for two,
And releasing with a sigh for the count of six.
Let's do that together.
Let's inhale,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Hold,
One,
Two,
Sigh,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six.
Continue this breathing to release tension and become fully relaxed,
Completing three cycles of this type of breathing.
I'll be quiet while you do this for the next three cycles.
Now let's return to a breath that's easy and comfortable for you,
Just your normal breathing in and out,
No stress,
No strain.
Our minds are busy.
We're computing thoughts and ideas all the time.
If your mind wanders during this time of meditation,
Just refocus on your breathing.
It will ground you and bring you back into the present state and space.
Menopause is a changing time in our lives,
But we need to embrace it as a wonderful time that allows us freedom,
A way to reinvent ourselves,
Create a new era of our lives.
Menopause should actually be one of the most exciting time of your life.
Don't view it as either a disease or a diagnosis you have been given,
But it's a time to rise up,
Reclaim your energy and show your inner true beauty to the world.
Don't fall prey to a Western culture who has started to view older women as less,
But rather reinvent yourself as the wise mentoring woman that you are.
As you lie here and the tension drips away from your body,
I hope you feel in a state of calm and relaxation.
I'd like to repeat some affirmations,
Which you can do either aloud or in your head.
However,
I would encourage you to repeat them aloud daily as it will build up a true sense of confidence.
Say these to yourself at any point during the day or in your life when a moment of stress has threatened to derail you or derail your confidence.
Listening to your own voice aloud,
Saying these things gives you amazing power and confidence.
Repeat these affirmations several times,
Allowing time between to think and reflect.
I am strong,
Empowered and resilient.
I will navigate this transition in my life with grace,
Poise and ease.
I am worthy of feeling strong,
Good,
Inspiring during this phase of my life.
Only I and myself alone will defend and say what is success in my life and what that means to me.
I am enough today,
Tomorrow,
And I was enough yesterday.
Let the words of these affirmations sink into your brain and sit true in your heart by taking 30 seconds to reflect on any word in particular that we have just said.

Let's slowly move our fingers,
Toes,
Fluttering our eyes to rejoin the space that we're in.

Meditation is a powerful tool in menopause that you can incorporate to manage symptoms of anxiety,
The loss of self and sleep through regular practice.
