So begin by finding a comfortable seated or lying down position and just really allow your body to relax into it,
To soften your shoulders,
The arms,
Your legs and then to close the eyes.
And as you close your eyes take a moment to really bring your awareness to how you are feeling in this moment.
Notice and feel any emotions that are present.
And see if you can notice where they are in the body.
Notice all the subtleties of any emotions that are present.
And then really feel the presence of them and where they are located in the body.
And then take a moment to just to place your hands on that area of where you feel them in the body.
And like you are placing your hands of support and of healing to these areas.
And as you place your hands onto these areas begin to breathe into these areas,
Directing your breath and allowing it to be a little bit deeper into the areas where you feel the emotions in your body.
And as you inhale really begin to let the inhale bring a sense of opening.
And then each time you exhale allow a letting go.
And it can be really helpful to allow the breath to be even a little bit stronger as you practice this.
Allowing that inhale as it deepens to really open a sense of opening to the emotions that are present.
And then as you deep in the exhale really allow a feeling of letting go.
Notice as you do this the sensations might change or they might even intensify.
See if you can just continue to hold yourself with the awareness and deepening of the breath directing it into the areas where you are feeling it the most.
And really with this practice we are really allowing it the sensations and the feelings to be felt.
And not pushing them away but allowing it to pass through us.
To feel them and let them pass through us.
So just for a little moment longer allowing the inhale to be breathing into those areas of where you are feeling and with a sense of opening.
And the exhales would be a feeling of letting go.
Really holding yourself with this loving kindness.
Allowing whatever is in this space to be there with no judgement.
I know you can take as long as you like in this practice or if you feel ready and you feel like you'd like to come back begin to open the eyes.
Namaste.
