Welcome to day five of our Soulmate Love Meditation Series.

This is Barry Price.

And today we're going to be getting deep on self-love.

Because nobody will love us if we don't love ourselves.

Self-love is the foundation of being able to give love and receive love.

The amount of self-love we give determines how wide our pipeline is.

How much love can we allow through us as a vessel?

Are we constricted or are we wide open?

Part of our journey is removing the barriers that we've had to expressing love and having love expressed towards us.

And the expression of love begins with expressing it to yourself.

Love is life's greatest lesson.

So how are we doing as students at practicing and studying it daily?

How well are we doing at showing ourselves love?

Self-love in the form of self-care which we touched on yesterday.

Self-love in terms of how harsh we are on ourselves.

When we make a mistake.

When we forget something that we should have done,

A person we should have called.

Something we should have picked up but forgot at the store.

A mistake we make at our job.

How harsh are we with ourselves and how forgiving?

Do we love and accept both sides of ourselves?

Not just the side of us when we're perfect or achieving.

But do we accept and love the side of us that's still our sensitive,

More vulnerable inner child?

This is the self-love with which we want to connect.

Because until we embrace ourselves with that much love,

We are a constricted vessel.

We are not open to the flow of true love in and out of our lives.

Because we are our own first love and true love.

We are our own primary soulmate.

We cannot find a soulmate or create soulmate love with our current partner.

If we aren't in love with our own soul,

And our own soul doesn't know what it feels like to be loved by us.

So let's begin there as you get comfortable.

Find a place to sit or lie down.

And let your breathing find its own pace.

You'll notice some days you'll come to this meditation more serene and calm.

And some days you're going to come in with the weight of the world on you.

A person who honked at you in traffic.

A neighbor who got under your skin or that undone task that's nagging at the back of your mind.

Let it go for now.

In this space nothing needs to happen but you being here for you.

No one needs our attention more than ourself.

And if we are not there for ourself.

That is when we feel neglected and unloved.

So as you lie here or sit,

Close your eyes and let your breathing find its normal rate.

Don't force it.

And let's begin.

Set an intention in your mind now.

As we enter this sacred space for the next few moments.

That all the cares of the world and the needs of others.

Do not enter this sacred circle,

This sacred space.

This bubble in time and energy that you're in with me.

And we will create together here for a few moments.

A sanctuary inside which it is safe for you.

To feel vulnerable,

To feel loving,

To feel sensitive.

To want to give to yourself,

To want to receive.

So as we slip into silence in a moment here.

I want you to find those things that you loved most.

About your essence.

Who were you?

When you were that unspoiled soul as a child.

Before the weight of the world or your parents problems and issues or anybody got onto you that way.

What was your essence?

Were you joyful?

Were you explorative?

Were you curious?

Were you quiet?

Were you observant?

Find that essence that was you.

And if you can't remember if something is blocking that,

If that's hazy to you.

Then just breathe into the magnificence,

The awesomeness.

Of being so lucky that you're here today.

That your awareness is here today,

Right in this moment with you.

And that you're here and available to give yourself love and to choose to receive it.

Breathe into your mantra now.

Your mantra is,

I deeply love and accept myself.

I deeply love and accept myself.

I deeply love and accept myself.

Repeat your mantra silently in your mind.

As we slip into silence for a moment.

And I'll come back and let you know when it's time to come out.

I deeply love and accept myself.

And if your mind fights and gives you reasons to judge yourself.

Things you don't like about yourself.

Things you're dissatisfied with.

Allow that to come into your mind and look at it straight in the eye in your mind.

And respond,

Answer,

Declare to it.

I know I feel that way.

I know that.

But I still deeply love and accept myself.

And as you begin to come up out of it.

As you begin to come up out of it and you realize that your mind may have chatter some days.

But I'm not accomplished enough.

But I haven't done enough.

But I don't look good enough.

But my body doesn't look the way I want it to.

I understand,

You can reply.

But I still deeply love and accept myself.

And come back to this present moment that you're in.

And carry the feeling with you of what it felt like to receive from yourself true love and acceptance.

And if it didn't feel like a glow that suffused you deeply then keep working on this because it will.

It will.

This beautiful love and self-connection opens you.

Opens you to receive and opens you to give.

And opens you to receive and opens you to give.

You are already beginning to become a conduit of more love at a higher frequency than you've ever experienced.

I'm so glad to be on this journey with you.

We're just starting.

Much more to come and much love.

Thank you.

We probably can’t love until we forgive the person who hurt us the most...at that point maybe it has nothing to do with them and everything to do with our ego. When it comes to self love though we have to be so careful about narcissism. Nothing destroys the possibility of love as much as that.
