Friends relax your body from the top of the head to the toes see that your head is balanced on your neck and that your spine is straight if seated on a chair keep your feet flat on the ground and if seated on the floor sit in a cross-legged position keep your right hand on the left in your lap or on your knees as you wish relax your mind let go of the past and the future thoughts experiences etc take three deep breaths now you are ready for your meditation be here in the present moment simply sitting and breathing now let's turn our attention to our senses let us train thus I will not cling to the eyes I will not cling to the ears I will not cling to the nose I will not cling to the tongue I will not cling to the body I will not cling to the mind these sensors are impermanent an itcher they are unsatisfactory dooker they are not I not my not mine and not myself they are non-self another I will not cling to the forms I see with the eyes I will not cling to the sounds I hear with the ears I will not cling to the orders smells I get with the nose I will not cling to the flavors tastes I get with the tongue I will not cling to the touch I get with the body I will not cling to the thoughts I get with the mind these sense objects stimuli are impermanent an itcher unsatisfactory dooker they are not I not me not my not mine and not myself they are non-self another I will not cling to I consciousness I will not cling to your consciousness I will not cling to nose consciousness I will not cling to tongue consciousness I will not cling to body consciousness I will not cling to mind consciousness the consciousness of the eyes ears nose tongue body and mind is impermanent an itcher unsatisfactory dooker and not I my mine me myself another I will not cling to the eye contact that is the eye its object and consciousness coming together resulting in seeing I will not cling to the ear contact that is the ear sound and consciousness coming together resulting in hearing I will not cling to the nose contact that is the nose smell and consciousness coming together resulting in smelling I will not cling to the tongue contact that is the tongue taste and consciousness coming together resulting in tasting I will not cling to the body contact that is the body touch and consciousness coming together resulting in touching I will not cling to the mind contact that is the mind thoughts and consciousness coming together resulting in thinking I will not depend on these contacts they are impermanent an itcher unsatisfactory dooker and not I my mine or myself they are non-self another I will not cling to feeling born of eye contact I will not cling to feeling born of ear contact I will not cling to feeling born of nose contact I will not cling to feeling born of tongue contact I will not cling to feeling born of body contact I will not cling to feeling born of mind contact I will not be dependent on feeling born of these contacts they are impermanent an itcher unsatisfactory dooker and non-self another I will not cling to the earth element in this body or outside I will not cling to the water element in this body or outside I will not cling to the fire element in this body or outside I will not cling to the air element in this body or outside I will not cling to the consciousness element in this body or outside I will not cling to the space element in this body or outside all these elements in this body and outside are the same I will not depend on any of these elements they are impermanent an itcher unsatisfactory dooker and non-self another I will not cling to material form I will not cling to feeling I will not cling to perception I will not cling to volitional formations thinking I will not cling to consciousness I will not depend on these aggregates I will not cling to them they are impermanent an itcher unsatisfactory dooker and not me not I not mine not myself they are non self another I will not cling to this world I will not cling to the world beyond hereafter I will not depend on this world and the next they are impermanent an itcher unsatisfactory dooker and non self another this meditation is over you can continue for a longer period of time on each of these sections as you please now feel the breath coming and going then feel the connection with the ground or chair allow the mind and body to become aware of the surroundings the sitting posture and slowly and gently allow the eyes to open and feel relaxed and happy sadhu sadhu sadhu

Felt averse to various elements such as the sound (hiss) and style but realized this was more traditional and not as "stylized"/"westernized". I appreciated that and had faith that it would be a helpful practice. I am glad I did. Once I "got it", I felt so liberated and connected with the purpose on a fundamental level. This is a practice I plan to repeat.
