This poem, Fear, is by Khalil Gibran who illustrates the importance of acceptance of fear and being able to move forward while keeping an open heart and knowing that you can be a part of something that may be different but does not need to be unpleasant. I highly recommend listening to it a few times.

Fear by Khalil Gibran.

It is said that before entering the sea a river trembles with fear.

She looks back at the path she has traveled from the peaks of the mountains,

The long winding roads crossing forests and villages and in front of her she sees an ocean so vast that to enter there seems nothing more than to disappear forever.

But there is no other way.

The river cannot go back.

Nobody can go back.

To go back is impossible in existence.

The river needs to take the risk of entering the ocean because only then will fear disappear.

Because that's where the river will know it's not about disappearing into the ocean but of becoming the ocean.

I’m glad I came across this now. In the process of making a significant decision, I’m looking into my heart space. My heart space is important and fear exist alongside my desire. This brought the realization to continue forward embracing my fear that I will overcome. In summary, this tied up my scattered thoughts. Thank you

PROFOUND ANALOGY about the river and the ocean! This poem shifted my whole perception about fear, how it stops us because sometimes we don't have a fearless vision as one would expect or hope, or even dream for. πŸ’œπŸ˜‡πŸ’œ

Oh how I love Khalil Gibran and his profound insights in The Prophetβ™‘. Thank you for this beautiful reading! Getting thru the fear can take us to an expansion that we would have never attained by trying to avoid it...πŸ’“πŸ’—πŸ’«πŸŒΊπŸƒπŸ’š

We do only exist because existence is, and existence is, because we are. There is no boundary. The sea is because of the river and the river exists because of the sea. The river and the sea is one
