Chakra Meditation 1.
Find a place that's comfortable for you with enough space and minimal or no distractions.
Lying down on your back,
Your arms away from your body,
Your legs slightly apart,
Just falling naturally in a comfortable place.
Your palms are up,
Your eyes are closed.
Getting comfortable and letting your whole body settle.
Letting your whole body relax,
Feeling effortless relaxation.
Let the tightness in your body dissolve.
Making your physical body looser and looser.
When your whole physical body is loose and relaxed,
Slowly begin to relax mentally.
During this time,
You will awaken your sense of feeling and listening to your body.
It is natural to flow in and out of conscious hearing,
Therefore do not try too hard.
Yoga Nidra is psychic divine sleep.
During this time,
You want to try and keep your body as still as possible.
Respecting your whole physical body and ensuring it is loose and relaxed.
Become aware of your surroundings,
The floor you lie on,
The room you're in,
The sounds around you,
The sounds near,
The sounds far.
Be aware of the sound closest to you,
The sound of your natural breath.
Your whole body is comfortable and lying still on the floor.
Maintaining tranquility and immobility until I ask you to move.
Allow your bones to become heavy and let your body surrender and sink into the hands of Mother Earth.
Focusing on your Muladhara Chakra at the base of your spine.
As you focus on the base of your spine,
Your Muladhara Chakra,
Say in your mind,
I am a mountain,
Unshakable,
I am taking care of myself,
My health,
My body and space around me.
Feeling a sense of calmness,
Feeling grounded and relaxed.
Become aware of your natural,
Effortless,
Spontaneous breath.
Witness it's coming in and going out,
Not making any effort to breathe in or out.
The breath and awareness go together.
From the foot to the navel,
The breath comes in.
From the navel to the throat,
The breath comes out.
Feel your abdomen moving up and down.
Being aware of your natural breath.
As you breathe in from your navel to your throat,
Focusing on the sound SO.
As you breathe from your throat to your navel,
Focusing on the sound HUM.
This is the time for your Sankalpa,
Your positive statement.
Go deep inside yourself and notice your heart's deepest longing.
What does your heart desire?
Creating an intention,
An affirmation based on your heart's longing,
A positive statement in the present tense as though it has already happened.
State this three times in your mind with the present feeling,
The present emotion.
Allow your awareness to travel through your different body parts and relax your body further,
Simply feeling each part,
Without moving,
Remaining still.
Just welcoming the sensation of calmness just as it is.

Center of your back,
Lower back,
Right side of your back,
Left side of your back,

Letting the energy travel throughout your body,
Feeling your body as a whole,
A complete entity,
And feeling the sensation of calmness,
Heaviness,
Relaxation travel throughout your body,
Throughout your body.
Focusing on your breathing,
Focusing on your inhalation and exhalation,
Inhalation and exhalation.
Feeling the flow of your breath and bring the calmness within you.
Bring your attention to the base of your spine,
The base of your pelvic area,
Your root chakra,
Your muladhara chakra,
Feeling the warmth at your root and letting it travel to your toes.
Take several seconds to allow your attention to find the space and to get settled into it.
Visualizing the color red,
The color red at the space you found,
Picture red earthy clay like the clay after a rainfall.
Feel heavy on the earth,
Feel heavy on the earth as you sink further into the hands of mother earth,
Hands of mother earth,
Residing in the heavy warmth.
In your mind visualize a four petal lotus,
The earthy red color in center.
Keeping your attention on the space at the base of your spine.
Allow the mantra LAM LAM to arise repeatedly in your mind and feel the silence within.
Allow it to repeat,
Allowing it to repeat at your own natural speed.
Allow your mind to naturally be aware of earth,
Solidity or form.
This awareness may be strong or not too strong,
Either way it's fine.
Feel the wave of warmth and energy rise within your body and gently spread,
Feeling a sense of inner purification and awareness of inner light.
Slowly coming back to the mantra LAM LAM arising repeatedly in a field of silence.
Bring your awareness at the center point,
The center point,
The lotus with four petals.
Visualizing the earthy red clay color at the center.
Being connected to the earth and naturally coming to the inner fields of your mind.
Slowly bringing your awareness to your breath and the rise and fall of your breath.
Being aware that the entire earth,
Every living thing is breathing with you,
Is breathing with you.
This is the time for your Sankalpa.
Restate your intention now three times in your mind with the present tense.
Become aware of your breathing,
Your natural breath,
Developing awareness of your nostrils and continuing this awareness for a while.
Extend your awareness of your breath to every part of your body.
As you inhale,
Feel the life giving force energy saturate your whole body,
Saturating your whole body.
Take a long,
Slow,
Deep breath and become aware of your relaxed body,
Become aware of your physical existence.
Develop awareness of your surroundings,
Of your surroundings,
The floor you lie on,
The room you're in,
The sounds around you,
The sounds near,
The sounds far.
Slowly begin to externalize yourself by wiggling your toes,
Your fingers,
Stretching your arms above your head,
Stretching your feet in the opposite direction,
Keeping your eyes closed and just stretching your body.
Slowly bring your arms next to your body,
Bending both your knees,
Keeping your eyes closed,
Slowly taking a right turn,
Lying on your right side,
Your whole body on the right side.
Feeling a sense of calmness,
Feeling the connection with your Mooladhara Chakra at the base of your spine,
Keeping that visualization of the red as you stay there for a while.
Slowly with the help of your hands,
Lifting your body up,
Coming into any comfortable seated position,
Lengthening your spine,
Your shoulders roll back,
Your chest bone open,
Your seat bone sinking into the ground.
Slowly at your own time releasing your hand position,
Rubbing your palms together for warming palms,
Placing your warm palms in front of your closed eyes,
Hold it here for a while,
Holding that energy.
And slowly at your own time releasing your hands and opening your eyes.
