Hey,
This is Greta.
I welcome you to this yoga nidra specially for menstruation.
I invite you to rest in a reclined position with a support under the knees or lower back,
Maybe laying in your bed,
Below behind the head,
Some eye covering.
Maybe you will be laying down on the back or on the side,
Allowing the body to melt into the surface beneath you.
If you are in pain right now,
I welcome you to use a hot water bottle or a hot pad on your belly as the heat helps to release and relax more easily.
So,
Taking your time to settle in really comfortably and when you feel that your body is at ease,
Let your belly soften,
Let your womb be held by the earth.
There is nothing to do,
Nothing to fix,
Only surrender to the rest.
Placing your awareness to the womb space,
Feeling her,
Allowing your attention to rest there,
Even if it hurts,
Trying to just notice the sensation,
Inviting a sankalpa there into your womb space,
Maybe you have one yourself,
Or you would like to use I trust the rhythm of my body.
I trust the rhythm of my body,
Repeat it a few times silently in your mind,
Allowing this intention to plant itself like a seed in the warm soil of your being.
Slowly,
Your attention from the womb space travels back up to the head,
Noticing the sensation in your face,
Starting with the forehead,
Lips,
Left eye and right,
Inside of the mouth,
Gums and teeth,
Tongue,
Tip of the tongue all the way to the root of your tongue,
Inside of the throat,
Throat,
First finger,
Second and little finger,
Wrist,
Both collarbones,
Left shoulder,
Right shoulder,
Bring awareness to your lower belly,
Imagine soft pink light glowing onto your belly,
Pelvis,
Your pelvis glowing,
Your pelvis glowing,
Womb center,
All the way down to your head,
Can invite here your breath,
Breathing into your womb space,
In and releasing with an exhale,
Imagine breathing in through the nose all the way down into your womb,
Exhaling all the way down through your pelvic floor,
Releasing anything that's no longer needed in this cycle,
Keep on breathing slowly,
Slow belly breaths,
Hips,
Hips,
Stagnant energy through your roots back into the ground,
Back into the mother earth,
Inhaling into pelvis,
Into your womb,
Exhaling down the earth,
Through the legs,
Inhaling deep belly breath,
Deep and low into the belly,
Exhale down through the legs into the earth,
Inhaling softness,
Ease,
Exhale tension and pain,
Inhale ease and softness,
Exhale tension and pain,
Leaving the body,
Dissolving into light,
Breathing in that pink rose colored light into your womb,
Exhale,
May it be 1% at a time,
Breathing in rose colored light,
Breathing out at least 1% of discomfort,
Keep on releasing,
Trusting the body,
The body knows what to do,
The body knows how to release,
Strive to surrender,
You may welcome this visual into your awareness,
A warm pink ocean waves,
Soft waves washing through your pelvis,
Wave coming up,
Wave leaving,
Washing you softly,
Taking away all the pain,
Feel the pain softening with each wave incoming,
Your womb opening up,
Each breath at a time,
Each breath at a time softening,
Releasing,
Welcoming back your intention within the womb,
I trust the rhythm of my body,
I trust the rhythm of my body,
I trust the rhythm of my body,
Coming back slowly to your breath,
Begin to deepen your breath,
Invite some small movement into your fingers and toes,
You can wake up here or stay still for as long as you need to,
Noticing how you feel and trusting that your womb and your body and your spirit have received exactly what was needed.
Thank you for listening to this yoga nidra,
Hope you enjoyed it and it has helped you.
Thank you.
