Alright,
So let's go ahead and get into our meditative space.
So if you want to sit up in a way that's going to be comfortable,
It won't be a super long meditation I just like to kick us off with 10 to 15 minutes so we have something.
So just close your eyes.
And if you want to give yourself a couple quick breaths,
You can like just to kind of wake yourself up and then you can give yourself a deep breath in after that or a couple deep breaths in.
Just use that breath to center yourself in your body to bring yourself to right here and right now,
Especially if you're feeling really overwhelmed,
Sometimes even resistant to showing up in the space.
It can be because you're going through a lot,
You're growing and having to look or face that energy,
It can feel almost worse as you start to heal it or we can just be,
You know,
Engaged with some sort of body level fear response from our day.
Seems to me all the time where something will come up like,
I don't know how to,
This is just a random example,
But say I don't know how to download Zoom right before a meeting and then my brain goes,
Oh no,
You can't do anything,
You're failing and then my brain goes,
Oh,
I'm going to have ADHD as bad as possible right now.
Think of 10 million things at once and it's all just this survival response within the body.
Just misinterpreting a signal as being dangerous and having a response based off of accumulated trauma from being a human on this planet.
Nice light topic,
But my point is giving yourself a couple deep breaths,
Deep into the nostrils,
Out through the mouth.
It lets your body know and your brain know that you're okay,
That you're safe,
That you can be here to process anything that's showing up and it might not be,
You know,
Anything extreme or crazy,
You might be feeling great today.
Either way,
It just lets you know that here's a safe space to be,
To meditate.
You can't take that deep breath if you're getting chased by a tiger.
But just take a moment to scan for yourself.
How are you coming into this space?
Sometimes that alone can be really nice information for us.
Just taking a pause to scan,
To check in.
Am I distracted?
Am I anxious?
Am I happy,
Excited?
Or am I a mix of a whole bunch of things?
And you may even notice where does that show up?
If you were to take that and give it a tangible place in your body,
Maybe there's a texture to it or a color to it.
Where does that show up around you or within you?
And if you notice where that's showing up,
Whether you like it or not,
You can just imagine that it can release out of your space,
Out of your body.
Maybe there's a wind that comes in and it clears it out.
We just see that color,
That texture,
Feelings,
Sensation.
You see it floating away.
A nice gentle breeze just carries it out of your space.
Showing yourself that you can create state changes as you want to.
You can hold on to something,
Take it really seriously and process it all day.
Or we can let it go.
If it's truly important information,
We can come back to it later.
But that sort of addiction to a problem or addiction to some energy that we're feeling,
Sometimes it's just the brain thinking it's really important information when it's not.
So let it go.
And imagine that you can see sort of like a dial out in front of you.
It could be like a gauge with the dial on it,
However you want to see that.
But the gauge portion of it is to see 0 to 100.
And the dial is so that you can turn that up or down.
So kind of like a radio,
Those old fashioned ones at least,
Where you had the hand that would move to show you what channel it was on and you had the little dial you could turn.
Imagine one of those out in front of you and ask it to show you how fast are you moving through life right now?
Or how fast is that wind of life,
That pressure,
That energy from it?
What is that like around you right now?
Are you at 100% hurricane speed?
Or is it just a nice light breeze of pressure,
Speed?
If you live in America,
I rarely see anyone that's below 30-40% when they look at that.
It's usually amped up at least that much.
And if you can't see it,
Maybe you get a sense of just where you would be on that scale.
Now imagine that you can take that dial,
That knob,
And just turn that back,
Turning it all the way down as far as what's comfortable.
If it's too anxiety provoking or anything to turn it down all the way,
You don't have to.
But it might feel really calm and peaceful to just see that dial being turned back.
And it may seem like a silly exercise,
But two things are true.
One is that you can command energy and it'll shift.
And two is that when you are showing yourself that you can turn down that pace,
You can turn down from go,
Go,
Go mode to kind of slowing down,
Being still,
Even if it's just for right here on this call.
Your brain responds to that.
The images that you show yourself show up in the brain the same way that the actual thing does.
If you imagine an apple versus you hold an apple,
Your brain responds in the same way.
So you can really change that communication to your body,
To your nervous system,
And really allow it to slow down.
A lot of psychic work or energy work is secretly somatic work.
Start to experience that.
Just allowing yourself to softly be right here,
Right now.
Taking this time and space to just be.
And then see yourself in the center of your head,
That place behind your forehead and between your ears.
That place where you can most easily access your own intuitive abilities and clarity.
It's not the mental analytical part of your head.
It's that intuitive center.
It's that space that you can be in to sort of see or experience miracles.
Things can brighten up.
They can get a bit quieter if you bring a lot of your light into the center of your head here.
And I want you to just see that this can be your little cozy comfort zone.
You could see yourself sitting in a room in the center of your head.
It can be your sanctuary,
Your safe haven.
And if you're hearing thoughts or busy thinking,
Distracted,
Processing conversations,
Imagine that you can open up a door in the side of your head and just allow anyone in there to leave.
Allow those thoughts to leave.
All of that noise.
You're not going to stop existing if you allow it to be silent in there or at least quiet.
In fact,
You'll be a lot more,
Have a lot more of your energy in your being rather than your thinking.
So just imagine that space,
Bright and peaceful.
Nobody in there.
I know it's Friday.
People like to party on Friday,
But not in this place.
Just you in there,
Party of one.
Give yourself another breath.
Mind yourself that you have a body.
You're still awake.
We'll just do one more visual and then I'll wrap up.
I don't want to drag this on too much,
But see an energetic bubble around you.
That bubble can be somewhat egg shaped.
Can be arms length out all around you.
Letting that bubble or that aura mark your energetic boundary of where your energy stops.
The rest of the world is outside of that.
It's just your bubble,
Your space to be.
I want you to just think of any of the things that have been building up around you lately.
Could be stress from work,
From life,
Transitions,
Family,
Relationships,
To do list,
Social pressures or expectations.
Anything that's been kind of pressing on you lately,
But I want you to see it on the outside of that bubble.
Maybe you see the thought forms as clouds.
Maybe you see that emotionality is kind of like an oil painting.
Maybe you just see the word for that thing that's been pressing on you.
Maybe you see that person if it's related to a person.
An image of that to do list.
That's what it is.
But in some way,
Be able to see that outside of your bubble,
Creating distance between you and the problem or the stressor.
Just have a moment to take an empowered glance at those pressures.
What I mean by that is from the safe haven,
That center of head place,
Giving yourself a visual cue to acknowledge those things that are pressing in on you.
Rather than it just being a random,
Conjumbled of thoughts,
Feelings,
Sensations.
You're getting clear on what it is and you're getting clear on it not being you.
You are the one that's aware of it and you have some space from it.
So you're automatically telling yourself that you can exist separate to that problem or that energy.
You can be in whatever state you want on the inside here,
Regardless of that.
Now imagine those pressures or problems turning into roses.
They can all have their own unique color.
It can be different colored roses.
A nice,
Gentle image that really is a placeholder for the energy of that pressure,
Problem,
Stress,
Whatever it is.
You can take a moment to acknowledge the color of those roses.
If you've cultivated enough amusement or neutrality about your life to where you can look at problems without it making you feel really down,
Maybe you even smell those roses.
Maybe there's a scent coming off.
And then take those roses one by one and just slowly move it away from you.
Moving it further and further away until it feels like it's a far enough distance that you can start to ease up.
Your shoulders can drop.
You can breathe a little deeper.
How much room do you need between you and that energy to feel okay in your body?
Do you need 10 feet or do you need to put it on the other edge of the universe?
How much room do you need between you and it?
There's no right or wrong.
It's just an observation of how much room do you need to feel safe in the body?
And then just do that with each and every rose that you created.
And again,
If you're not feeling super visual today,
Maybe it's more of a feeling,
A sense of getting some distance,
Pushing away those stressors,
Problems,
Not in resistance to them,
But just in being able to have room,
Being able to have distance.
And I'll just give you a minute to do that silently,
To move those roses out in whatever way you want.
Good.
And this is something you can do in your life anytime you feel a level of overwhelm,
A level of noisiness or busyness,
Or even just if you're working through something in your life that feels really overwhelming and you need a little space between you and it,
That way you can process,
You can clear those mental images or stories that are attached to it.
It never hurts to have space between you and another energy that you're having a reaction to in some way.
So just notice how it feels to be in your energy,
To be in your space after moving everything out and know that this is what it can feel like to meditate.
Rather than feeling like you have to rush,
Have to get everything done,
You can first find peace,
Find space,
And then move forward,
Maybe in a more productive,
Soul aligned way.
So with that,
Just give yourself one last deep breath and start to slowly come back out of meditation.
