Hello I'm Brandon and this is my class on living a life of bliss and as with most of my classes I like to start off with a little bit of a talk and then guide you into meditation that way you can have a real experience of what bliss is and how it can be useful in life how it's not just this fun buzzword something to dream about but it's something you can actually access and build upon in your life you know we don't get somewhere by accident and being blissful it might sometimes seem like it's by accident like it's something that just happens just shows up but there's a usually a lot that we've done to kind of get us to a point where that bliss can come through and so just like you can practice being happy you can practice being forgiving you can also practice being blissful and then letting that experience grow into more and more areas of your life and one of the things that I want to talk about is how being psychic or being connected to your intuition maybe you just want to call that being aware how that can help you to access bliss and to get a you know stay there a little bit longer when you do experience it all right and so this topic is a nice light topic kind of a pleasant one but something that I've noticed throughout my more than a decade of teaching is that sometimes the lighter the topic is the more serious the group can become you know they can still get very triggered you know some energies can come up to the surface when you're talking about a really light positive vibration that can sometimes bring up the energies within you that are maybe keeping you from that bliss the energies that have been holding you back keeping you in stress or just some other state right the energy the beliefs those things can start to come to the surface so if you feel a little bit heavy or foggy or agitated that might just be some of the energy that's coming to the surface to be uncovered something that you're gonna let go of as we go further into this class and meditation and something that you can continue to work through right but just in case you're feeling any of that energy brought to the surface already I wanted to start us with a joke or two and then we can get right in so my first joke is a clairvoyant woman had an older brother who was always angry and a younger brother who was blissful to the point of naivety thankfully she was a happy medium between the two yes my other joke is people ask if ignorance is bliss I'm perfectly happy not knowing yes those jokes might make you have to think a little bit but the question is what is bliss and how does someone not only find more of it but also use it as a guiding light in their life not just as a random experience right and so you're welcome to start to go into meditation even now as I talk if you enjoy just turning the senses inward and opening up to experience or intuitively perceive what I'm talking about okay if you aren't used to meditating for longer than 20 minutes you know you might just keep your eyes open just hang out while I talk a little bit more and then we'll go into meditation officially later on right and so I want to start by defining what bliss is to me bliss is similar to ecstasy but it has a little bit more of a peaceful quiet delivery to it you know ecstasy you kind of think of somebody who's running around with their arms up whereas bliss you kind of think of somebody who's sitting there just shining really bright just glowing it's almost like there is this sense of immense joy that's coming out of them a joy that isn't based on conditions you know it's not based off of winning the lottery but rather it might just be while they're in a meditative state or while they're in a conversation right I like to think of it as happiness is an emotion that's oftentimes based off of what is happening externally in our world right your sports team wins the game you're happy or sad things go well for you today you wake up on the right side of the bed maybe that creates some happiness it's more of an emotional state right whereas bliss is a vibrational state of being it's not something that's based on condition it's based off of your beingness it emanates from your beingness and therefore it has no real definitive start or end point it lives outside the confines of conditional experience it's free from all of that and so if that's the definition then bliss can move through us it can erode our sense of fear worry and it really helps us to be in the present moment and it might sound like some far-off mystical thing something you've heard about but not experienced but it's really part of your birthright to be able to experience bliss and you might wonder well if it's part of your birthright a very natural thing for you to experience then how come you haven't experienced yet or why do you not experience it more often and the answer to that probably lies in the unfortunate state of the world or the environment around you right if we live in a world that's based in the mind and mental thinking it's ran by ego that sense of separation it may be selfishness then we can get really conditioned to engage in the world with our senses with our mind all right we engage and relate to the world from a place of you know mental noise ego and that can keep us away from experiencing our natural state our natural state of being which is where that bliss is hanging out waiting for you it's right around that it's kind of like who you are is not bliss but bliss is part of who you are just kind of like you know the ray of the Sun is not all that the Sun is but it's a part of the Sun right and that's where people start to try to practice mindfulness you know you get so busy doing your schoolwork your jobs your lives parenting whatever it's a very busy world and people try to have this mindfulness to bring back some presence to bring back a natural state of being in the doing stepping out of the doer and into more of the beer in your life that's an easy way to start to have a little bit more bliss even if it's just 1% more right that's that's helpful so just to sum that up it's kind of in the doing that there can be kind of more of that stress and in the being is where there can be more of that bliss right and so if you're not already in meditation let's go ahead and step into meditation now it's really all I needed to say about it otherwise I'd like to start to move you towards an experience of bliss and so you can close your eyes and you can give yourself a nice deep breath in maybe you hold it for a second or two at the top of that breath and you can slowly exhale out starting to feel yourself arriving in the body taking a few breaths in that manner letting the oxygen get to the brain waking up the brain while the body can start to relax on the exhalation becoming quieter and as you start to find your center that inner spaciousness within you you can contemplate or ask yourself how much are you being a body how much are you identified with the feeling sensations the bodily functions how much is that what you're being are you a hundred percent being a body you wouldn't even consider being anything else you 10% being a body and what I'm trying to get you to notice is there's a difference between being a body and being a soul can you be a soul that has a body are you being a body that has a soul there's a distinct difference there and what you're identifying with what you're considering you and you can probably reflect on many times where you've been in pain where you've been in some intense sensations or sickness and where you've really felt like you were the body that was the most real thing in your world and similarly you can probably reflect on where you have identified with being your mind your ability to think to problem-solve to intellectualize it's probably where most people relate from and meditation is a way to start to experience yourself as more of the being that you are and when you take some time out of your day to really get in touch with who you are as a being you start to live and relate to the world from this center point you have some of that spaciousness some of that beingness that you got a touch into in your morning meditation or before bed and you get to bring that with you into wherever you go from there and that might be a step towards living with more bliss in your life just in that meditativeness that spaciousness not really having to do too much in this meditation other than just be can continue to following the breath that we started with the inhalation activating that beingness within and the exhalation quieting the body and maybe as you continue to watch that breath this time on the exhalation you can imagine that you use that to release all thought forms any of those thoughts that are stirred up within your mind just let them start to fall away realizing that these thought forms are just noise noise reflecting mental images in the mind stories that you're telling yourself or that I've been told to you about how life is thoughts are never the direct truth of your reality but rather a mental overlay that's created based on our judgments expectations perceptions and even our mental environment other people's thoughts around you and so as these thoughts arise in your mind allow yourself to see them as images as stories in those images or stories can appear in little soap bubbles floating by and if you're busy thinking you're not busy being so your thoughts are ultimately keeping you further away from bliss and that's why we're working with this in this meditation and so simply see these bubbles floating by with the stories the thoughts or the pure mental image and imagine you could reach out and pop those bubbles you could let those images vanish or dissolve not necessarily resisting them just watching and then popping as if they have no negative or positive pull on you and if your mind starts to drift away from thoughts and moves into sensations and feelings instead you start to feel a little wiggly or itchy it's just energy moving trying to pull you out of this beingness distracting you a little bit and it's all just energy it's what we're working with today and so you can let those thoughts or the sensations represent themselves as images or even colors floating by in those soap bubbles letting yourself see the energy of that feeling or sensation gives you space from it lets you recognize that it's just communication moving through can let it arise and just as easily you can let it pop you can let it disappear and you can continue to do this as anything arises in this meditation can always come back to this exercise and really just sit and play with it for as long as you can in meditation and see how much more that brings you into your own beingness and blissfulness but for now in this meditation we're gonna move on to the next step which is one of asking yourself what does bliss feel like inside of you if you were to feel bliss right now what would that be like is there a certain body level sensation that moves through you with that sense of bliss is there a certain amount of mental stillness that's present in that blissfulness or can you go so far as to even intend to experience the vibrational state of bliss that glowing brightness that outshines all the other worries concerns distractions shines brighter than all else leaving you with that sense of fullness even if you can only find that small little speck of bliss within you that's okay find that even 1% of your bliss you can invite it in like it's a familiar friend and just start to breathe into that point of bliss maybe you see that as a color within your heart space or somewhere in your body maybe it's a slight tingling sensation that you're breathing into it's moving along your nervous system as you breathe into it start to let it expand into the rest of your body and since we as a society are very trained to be bodies we might be starting with a body level of bliss and then as you practice meditation practice experiencing more and more of who you are in spirit you'll really start to open up to the full capacity of bliss that fullness of being so you can help bring it to that point now by asking yourself where is your center not your physical center but that center that is deep within you that center that you could know is the center of anything is the center of everything it's the same center of all creation again it's not a physical point or Center but a spiritual one it's where your being resides most brightly and again breathe into this place see yourself and all of your awareness in the center bringing all of your creative light fully here and now fully into being letting all thoughts and sensations subside they're just bubbles in the wind now we can be a little bit intuitive about it you can ask yourself what is bliss look like as a vibration as a state of being and seeing something for what it is gives you access to it to knowing it so can you embrace that question with a childlike curiosity see with open eyes see with your inner eye what color bliss looks like knowing that color represents an energy frequency and then when you see that color see that vibration would you intend to see that blissful vibration emanating from your innermost being a glowing light from your core expanding out to the rest of your body to the rest of the world letting that grow brighter and brighter knowing that the more you can let go and be here as you are the more bliss can freely and naturally flow through you and around you just letting your experience be whatever it is whether it's an immense wave of bliss washing over you or whether you're experiencing the energy that's in between you and your bliss that's okay too it means you're moving forward you're getting closer to being there we don't always get a just command spiritual experiences to happen but we can use meditations like this where we're holding ourselves back from our own bliss and you can start to practice daily weekly or even just once a month to build your awareness of and capacity for bliss you can start to initiate this energy into your life not by accident but through practice just like how my peak experience of meditation ten years ago what I would consider that meditation high that's now my baseline experience for my day today and I imagine that my peak today what I experience is that high point will also be my baseline experience ten years from now too you continue to grow into it as you become more and more free so go ahead and give yourself one more deep breath into this space enjoy it for another moment and then we'll wrap up this meditation with one last step now that you've seen your bliss as a vibration that color frequency you take that vibration and see it moving through your arms and out your hands as if you could channel that light and just imagine one thing in your life you would like to heal or something you would like to create you can imagine that that thing is just showing up in front of you three feet out maybe is a still image and just let that bliss energy run through your arms out your hands and into that still image sending that bliss to your healing project or creative project just letting the light of bliss shine all around it knowing that that bliss is an infinite source of energy one that you can expand with and use in this way it's not a limited amount that you're gonna use up in fact the more that you live by your bliss and give your bliss the more that there is more that that bliss gets to shine through your heart and into your life the easier it becomes to tap into it even in the hard moments and so take one final moment in this meditation to just complete that healing and to just be you can start to slowly come out of meditation staying in that heightened state of awareness while opening back up to your senses opening back up to the world make as much time as you need I'm out of meditation and whenever you're ready and out of meditation I just want to conclude this by saying that I hope you enjoyed it and that I teach the practice of being psychic because it's a practice that teaches someone how to clear blockages in their energy to clear up their mind to be able to choose your thoughts to choose your feelings to know more of who you are and to be able to see that clearly and in knowing who you are and seeing it clearly you get to experience more of your light in your body and in your life you get to be so much more fully you and so being psychic it isn't always an easy path but it is a rewarding path and if that word psychic kind of concerns you the word psychic really just means as pertaining to the soul you learn to see yourself and others as the soul that you are and so if that's something that you'd like to learn or take a step forward with feel free to shoot me a message or an email be happy to help guide you further in your practice of experiencing more and more bliss thank you again for listening and have an amazing day
