Meditation for tuning in.
Find a comfortable space to sit or lie down,
Feeling your spine straight and your hands relaxed,
Either in your lap or to your side.
Begin to breathe,
Noticing the rise and fall of your abdomen with each inhale and exhale,
Allowing your eyes to close.
And for the next five breaths,
Bringing your awareness deeper and deeper into your body,
Noticing the feel of the chair or bed or floor underneath you,
Noticing the feel of your clothing or the feel of the air upon your body,
Noticing your breath leaving and entering through your nose and mouth.
What temperature is it?
How fast or slow is it?
And noticing the beat of your heart coming into the body.
And now imagining a golden light starting at your feet and on each inhale being drawn up through the body.
This light emanates from deep within Mother Earth and with each breath it fills you,
Up through the feet,
The knees,
Your legs and hips,
Through the abdomen and back,
Your chest,
Into your shoulders and down your arms,
Up through your throat,
The jaw,
Your cheeks and eyes,
The back of your skull,
The forehead,
And out the crown of your head.
As you receive this light,
Imagine it filling every cell within your body,
Expanding outward to every edge,
To the edges of your body,
To the edges of your energetic fields.
Allow this light to penetrate every crevice.
Allow it to resource you,
To nourish you.
And on your next inhale,
Imagining the flow and the speed of this light increasing,
Coursing through your body as if you are traveling down a golden river,
The golden water flowing around you and through you,
Becoming part of you and you part of it.
And on your next inhale,
Bringing your awareness to the center of your heart,
Noticing what it looks like.
Perhaps you see a color or an image.
Perhaps you sense warmth or pulsating.
Perhaps you hear something.
Tuning in and noticing to whatever is present for you.
There is no right or wrong.
Tuning into this heart center as I ask the following questions and seeing what arises.
What does my soul long for me to know right now?
Continuing to breathe.
What support does my soul need in the coming days and weeks?
What is wanting to be born this month,
To be created?
What is ready to move on,
To fall away?
What have I been unwilling to admit to myself that is ready to be seen?
What is one action I can take to bring my soul's desires into form?
And what is ready to come into form in a more final,
Finished way in the coming days or weeks?
Letting the answers arise without judgment or analysis.
Some may come right away.
Some may appear later on.
And when you feel complete,
Thanking your soul,
Thanking your heart,
And beginning to return back to the body.
As you begin to gently wiggle your toes or fingers,
As you become aware of your breath flowing in and out,
As you become aware of where you are seated or lying down.
And as you are ready,
Slowly opening your eyes.
Blessings.
