Welcome to Awakened Life.
I'm Michael McIntosh.
And I'm Arielle Hecht.
Today on Awakened Life,
We're talking about the four money keys.
So today I was talking with one of our clients from Awakened Academy.
And she was asking me about money,
How to create more money,
More wealth in her life.
And we had a wonderful discussion and I thought I'd share some of those insights with you.
Because these are the keys,
The essential things that unlock the door to wealth.
And if we understand them,
Then we can really unlock all kinds of opportunities and potential in our lives.
And if we don't understand them,
It's almost like we might be trying hard.
The client I was talking to was saying that she's learned about marketing and business and skills,
And she felt like something just wasn't coming together despite all of her hard work and efforts.
But by the end of the session,
She really felt she'd learned something that she can apply very practically to create wealth.
And that's what we want to give to you today,
That by the time you finish listening to this session,
You'll understand how to create wealth and money.
And you'll be able to use these things practically in your life.
Exactly.
So we're going to be talking about four different aspects to creating wealth.
And this might actually be different.
It'll sound very simple,
But it might be different than some of the approaches you've heard because truly truth is simple.
It really is simple.
And we just need to understand very practically,
Very simply,
What it is we need to do to create wealth in our lives.
So to begin with,
We're just going to talk about some of the blocks or some of the wrong beliefs that hold people back.
And then we'll get into these four keys.
Because if you have many of these ideas that many of us have heard,
A lot of spiritual people are aware of certain ideas that actually stop them from getting money,
Even if they want it.
So when I ask people,
What is money all about?
How do you create money?
And what do you feel about money?
I hear all kinds of different responses.
But one of the main things that I hear consistently is that money comes from being willing to allow money.
That if you are in alignment with money and you want to receive it and you're open to receive it,
Then you should be allowed to receive it.
And a lot of people think that the reason they're not receiving money must be because they feel they're blocking money coming to them.
This is a very,
Very common belief among spiritual people in particular,
That if they haven't got money,
Somehow they're blocking the energy of money just somehow showing up at their house.
Exactly.
So we hear this quite often.
And I believe this idea does show up in different wealth or law of attraction type of materials.
And of course,
We do need and we will talk about this,
We do need to have an inner alignment and that we appreciate money,
We value money,
We allow and receive it energetically into our lives.
Yet,
If we only focus on that,
If you can imagine just sitting at your home and you're fully open to receiving money,
How is it going to come?
Where is it going to come from?
Is it just going to appear in the mailbox?
I mean,
You know,
Practically speaking,
Even if we are energetically open to it,
If you think logically,
If you think practically sensibly,
How would it just appear right out of nowhere?
You know,
A lot of people might just be sitting there trying to imagine millions of dollars,
Millions of dollars showing up and they could be sitting there for a very,
Very long time.
While they gradually drain all their energy and die of hunger,
You know,
Because that is important to be open to money,
Because if you're not,
Then that's a problem.
But just that alone is not enough.
A lot of people really are stuck on this one thing and they think that's all they have to do.
And unfortunately,
That doesn't work.
Another thing that many people will say is that the reason they haven't got money is because they don't feel worthy or they're lacking confidence.
And so again,
That's about the person feeling something about themselves.
And they think,
If only I felt more confident,
If only I felt more worthy,
Then somehow money would come as well.
But actually,
Being confident is a result of some of the other things we're going to talk about today.
It's not something you can just create out of nowhere.
And being worthy,
That's a very subjective thing.
Are you worthy?
Are you not worthy?
Worthy according to who?
And so a lot of these things,
We're creating these ideas about what's possible for us within ourselves,
And not thinking about how money is related to the world outside of us and to other people and how it really works.
So perhaps these are two things that you've been aware of.
And we just want to let you know that there isn't some sort of character or spiritual flaw in you.
Like Michael just said,
Not worthy,
Not confident enough,
Not open to receive.
It isn't that you're flawed in some way in one of these aspects,
And that's why you don't have money.
We want you to know that it's not you,
It's not your fault,
Like there's something wrong with you at all.
It's just simply that you need to also understand these four keys that we're going to share with you to actualize real wealth in your life.
And we're not saying that there isn't some element of our inner world's effect on our outer reality.
Absolutely,
We can subconsciously block ourselves.
Yet,
If we think these are the only two things to think about,
And we don't go about setting up the other aspects of our life to actually create and receive wealth,
Then we will just be sitting around for a long,
Very,
Very,
Very long time,
Wondering what's going on,
And why we don't have any money.
That's right.
And I've done that myself.
I've sat around thinking why I've been practicing law of attraction,
How come I haven't got more money and you know,
Because there's these missing things.
Another one we'll mention briefly is this idea that if you're a good person,
And you do good deeds,
And you know,
Be of service to others that you should surely get paid.
And there are lots and lots and lots of very nice people,
Wonderful people,
I know plenty of them personally.
Over the years,
I've met lovely,
Lovely,
Lovely souls who really have good hearts,
And they're wonderful people,
And they're broke.
So being a nice person,
Being a good person isn't in itself enough to create cash money in the bank account.
And at the same time,
There are plenty of very nasty people who are extremely rich.
So obviously being a nice person isn't the only thing that counts when it comes to money.
And that being said,
We can also look at it on the flip side.
There are some really,
Really,
Really nice,
Lovely people,
Some beautiful people who have a lot of wealth.
And there are also some very nasty,
Unhappy,
Unfriendly people who don't have any money.
So it really isn't dependent on our character necessarily.
Right?
So again,
We're emphasizing it isn't that you are bad,
Or there's some sort of flaw in you.
And that's the reason you don't have money.
That's right.
So we of course encourage you to continue to be a lovely person and to,
You know,
Have be open to money and all these other things.
But that's not going to actually create wealth by itself.
So now we've discussed those things,
Hopefully we've cleared out some of these the cobwebs of old beliefs,
We can now talk about the four keys to money.
And if you were to take a random sampling of 10,
000 people,
Or even 100,
000 people and line them all up,
And you were to look at these four things in each of their lives,
You could predict how much money they have depending on whether or not they activate these four keys.
And they could be young,
Old,
Black,
White,
You know,
They could be from different countries,
These four keys are what are going to make the difference.
So what is the first key?
The first key is our relationship to money,
How do we feel about money itself?
So I'm going to ask you to finish this sentence,
Just notice what comes in your mind.
Money is money is what comes next.
When I spoke to this lovely soul this morning,
She said money is and the root of all evil is what came to her mind.
This is a quite common thing.
I actually had some version of that myself in money is that is bad money is evil.
It's from the Bible.
Actually,
It's a misunderstanding.
Apparently,
It's the love of money is the root of all evil or the you know,
The obsession with money.
So a lot of people have this idea that money itself is a bad thing.
And if you think money is a bad thing,
Then what's the likelihood of you having much money?
How much how many bad nasty things that we don't like,
Do we purposely go and chase after in our lives?
Right.
So if you have this sort of subconscious belief,
And you're doing these practices,
Like we talked about earlier,
Of working on being open,
Confident,
Worthy to receive money.
But if you you do have this,
It is a block,
Right,
You do have this subconscious block that is evil,
You're not going to even seek out the real practical tools that would actually bring wealth into your life.
But interestingly enough,
You might be attracted to these to these other principles we just talked about,
Because they don't lead to money in and of themselves.
So that's kind of an interesting piece to tune in with as well.
So if we don't like something,
We're not going to have it,
You know,
For example,
If you don't like oranges,
What's the chance of you having 1000s of oranges?
If you do like oranges,
Then guess what?
We like oranges,
Are like oranges,
How many oranges do you have?
I love oranges,
We buy bags and bags of them every week.
Yeah.
So if we didn't like them,
We wouldn't buy them,
We wouldn't we wouldn't pursue them,
We wouldn't look for them,
You know,
So money,
Just like everything else,
If you don't like it,
You're not going to have it,
You're not going to want it.
If you do like it,
Then you will seek it.
So the first thing is our attitude to money has to be that money is something that we like that we have a positive relationship with.
And I didn't use to like money,
I used to think it was evil.
And I remember doing different types of work in the past,
You know,
And people would want to pay me and I would say,
Oh,
You know,
Don't worry,
Or I'd under undercharge for it,
Or they try and give me money.
And I'd say,
Don't hand it to me,
Put it on the table,
I didn't want to touch it.
So I never really had much money.
And I pushed it away.
And I would refuse to receive,
Receive it personally,
Because I really thought it was dirty and nasty.
Then I worked on my relationship with money.
And I shifted it around,
I realized money is actually extremely useful.
Money is really useful.
If we don't have money,
Our life is very difficult.
Money can't buy you love,
But it certainly can buy you lots and lots of other things,
Can it?
Right.
And I'd say even,
You know,
Peace and stillness and quiet.
I think I began to value money more and more when I realized it supported me in being in a higher state of consciousness out of fight or flight.
Because when we're in a situation that's very stressful,
We don't have enough money to pay the bills or to feed ourselves.
This brings us into a lower brain function.
It just does.
That's how it is if we're in a survival situation,
Then we'll be triggered into a survival state of consciousness.
And it's very stressful.
And so I think my great appreciation for money for wealth,
Really is that it's connected to peace,
It's connected to peace of mind and ease and relaxation and being able to function from a higher place.
Now I'm not saying that there aren't any exceptions.
Of course,
It's possible to be in a high state of consciousness and not have money or have money and not be in a high state of consciousness,
Of course.
But for myself in my life,
And I think that you might find this too,
Being a spiritually minded person,
I'm sure you want spaciousness and ease and grace and peace in your life.
It's very valuable to have money because it will support you in being in a relaxed state of mind,
A peaceful state of mind,
You can spend longer amount of time in meditation,
Spiritual practice,
Service,
And it will help you to fulfill your your highest potential here.
That's right.
Money is a huge blessing.
You know,
When I think money is,
Money is wonderful.
It's wonderful things,
Wonderful thing,
Wealth,
You know.
So an exercise you can do,
You can do it after this session is to get a piece of paper,
It's very simple,
Get a piece of paper,
Draw a line down the middle.
And on the left hand side,
You write down all the benefits of having money for you personally in your life.
What are all the benefits?
For example,
You can relax about money,
You can buy the things that you want to buy,
You could go on vacation,
You could make your house nice,
You could do this,
You could do that,
You can donate to charity,
You could,
There's a long list of things.
So write down personally,
What money can do for you.
And what that does is that shifts your beliefs and your relationship with money.
Because the more you see the value personally,
Not for someone else,
But for you personally,
You start to think,
You know what,
This is really good stuff.
And I want this because it does a lot of good in my life.
Right.
So tune into what are the positive associations for you,
I spoke about peace of mind,
You're able to get your physical functioning out of fight or flight,
Which is horrible place to be.
I've been there myself,
I know so many people,
Many really sweet,
Great spiritually minded people.
And they're stuck in a fight or flight state that affects their quality of life,
Their state of consciousness,
Their spiritual practice.
And it's just not right,
You know,
You're a great soul,
And you have beautiful interests,
And you're pulled to do beautiful things.
And so you should be supported in being in a higher space and not have to be thrown into a lower state because of money.
So that's one really positive association,
Peace of mind,
Peace of body relaxation,
It's good for your health,
Really unhealthy to be in a stress state,
Really healthy to be in a relaxed state.
And let's face it,
Organic fruits and vegetables are expensive,
Right?
I mean,
They are.
And money will support you and eating really well,
Which supports your health long term.
So tune into what are the positive associations for you,
And you don't even need to think of it as money,
It's wealth,
It's this abundant experience of sufficiency,
And you're taken care of,
And you have your needs met.
And that's a beautiful thing.
So wonderful,
Wonderful,
Wonderful thing.
So it can make your life massively better on a number of different levels.
And then on the other side of your piece of paper,
You write down the problems with not having money.
Because unconsciously,
The reason that we might think money is a problem is because we think not having money poverty is good.
There's been a very dark and twisted belief system that poverty is somehow spiritual,
Very dark.
And I'm sure that the hoop the powers that be maybe the church at the time or some other organisation that wanted to keep people poor,
Put this poisonous idea in people's heads that poverty is better.
And so people could be kept poor.
Poverty is not better.
Poverty causes enormous problems to us and to other people and people are in poverty,
They're in flight or flight,
They do things that are disturbing because of being in a stress situation.
So what we want to do is overcome any benefits of poverty that we might have at the back of our head.
So on the right hand side of this piece of paper,
You're going to write down all the problems with not having enough money.
And this is a very important aspect as well.
And it's really good to tune in with if you have that association that you're a higher being or more spiritual if you don't have money.
And think about what I said earlier,
If it's throwing us into a fight or flight state of consciousness,
A state of stress,
It's getting us to work jobs or be associated with people or vibrations that are very harmful for us.
All of those things are not of the light,
You know,
They're not a positive thing.
The most positive thing is for you to have the space and the time to realize yourself as a spiritual being to connect to a higher power to the divine and to serve the world and to donate to the charitable organizations that you feel aligned with.
That is wonderful.
And that has far more power and strength in it for anyone,
You know,
To be in a wealthy position.
So go ahead and write down all the problems with not having money.
For example,
It causes you stress,
You can't pay the bills,
You start acting in funny ways because you're stressed out,
You can't donate money to the things you want to you can't have the clothes you want the food you want,
There's a whole long,
Long,
Long list of problems with not having enough money.
And then what you do is you read this list every day and you can add to it.
And it will create a positive relationship with money,
You'll realize that money is very,
Very helpful,
Very helpful for you.
And being in poverty is a major problem.
And that's going to inspire you to do the next things we're going to talk about the keys that open the next door.
So we first we have to start with this door,
You open this door,
Then you're interested in creating money.
And then we go further to the next door.
Right.
And just one more note to close this piece is that there is a very big difference between having money and wealth itself,
And having the vices of greed,
Or attachment or ego and you know,
The different vices.
Having greed and having money are not the same thing.
And so I think that's where money can get a bad rap is that some people have a lot of vice have a lot of negative greed in them.
And that's motivating them to have the money.
We're not in support of that.
It's really important all of us purify and clear out our negative energies,
Including greed.
You can have no greed,
You can be peaceful and pure,
And have wealth.
And in fact,
The highest spiritual teachings we know of say that when you are completely pure,
No vices,
Full of virtues,
Full of benevolence,
Sensible,
You're you're doing practicing the four keys,
We're going to talk about wealth is a natural result.
That's right.
Health,
Wealth and happiness.
These are divine attributes.
So this is essential this first key,
We could stop here and that'll be a huge upgrade for many,
Many people right now.
But we're going to keep going with the next keys.
Alright,
So let's go to the next key,
Which is what value do others need that I can offer?
Now,
Let me break this down.
This is very important.
When people think about creating wealth,
They think a lot of the time,
People who don't have wealth,
They think,
What can I do that others will buy?
We talked to entrepreneurs,
Coaches,
People who are creating things,
But this also applies to people was on as employees or working in companies doing different things.
But a lot of people,
They start off thinking,
Well,
If I create this wonderful thing,
How can I get people to buy it?
But we have to ask the question,
Where does money come from?
Where does money come from?
Think about it for yourself.
When you buy something,
When you spend your money,
What do you spend your money on?
Right now we're sitting here with our microphones and recording set up.
We spend money on these things.
Why do we spend money on them?
Because we value sharing,
We value helping,
We value serving.
If we didn't,
And we also value high quality equipment,
If we didn't value these things,
We wouldn't have them.
We value fresh fruits and vegetables.
So we spend our money on them.
You know,
Whatever we,
Whatever we value is what we give our money to.
So money comes to things of value.
And it doesn't go to things that we don't value.
So for example,
I don't value having 100 cows in the garden,
Right?
We live where there's horses around here.
I don't want 100 cows.
So I'm not going to figure out how to buy 100 cows and have them wandering around on the yard.
If someone did value cows,
And they wanted to have a ranch of some sort with their cows,
Then they would figure out a way of getting the cows and getting them on the on the field.
And so there's millions and billions of different things.
And we only invest money on the things that we value.
Right.
So that's why we want to really tune into,
First of all,
What do others value?
What do others value that I can provide that I can offer?
The wrong way of going about it is when we think I really want to offer this thing because I love it,
And I value it.
That's right.
And sometimes other people might value it too.
But we need to really consider first and foremost,
What do others value?
What do others value?
That's right.
I remember working with a client in Kauai,
And we were sitting on the beach and I asked her,
What do you love to do?
And she said,
Well,
I love walking on the beach,
Which is great.
I love walking on the beach as well.
But that's not a business idea.
Because how many people are going to pay any of us for walking on the beach?
I mean,
Maybe if someone was going to pay us for walking on the beach,
I'm sure we'd all be very pleased about that,
But it's very unlikely.
And so the people who create the most the most wealth are the ones who add the most value.
And value is in the eye of the beholder.
This is extremely important to know value is in the eye of the beholder,
Just like beauties in the eye of the beholder values in the eye of the beholder as well.
So it doesn't matter whether or not we personally value something.
It's whether other people value it.
Right.
You know,
Even with one of our courses,
Our programs,
Our main one right now,
Our spiritual life coach certification,
When we started this course,
It was actually an awakened leadership and sacred business course,
Which was still valuable.
People valued it.
We had had students since the beginning.
And over time,
We really listened to our students.
We listened to what people want.
We also did practical things like what are people actually typing into Google?
What what do people value?
What are they?
What do they want?
And it became clear over time that people wanted to become coaches.
We had been already doing spiritual coaching for many years.
So it was very easy for us to adapt our program to become a spiritual life coach certification course.
And that came about because of what other people value.
That's right.
So if we had not listened,
We wouldn't have changed things around and given them what they wanted.
We actually already had a spiritual life coach training in the course anyway.
We just didn't call it that because we didn't think that's what people wanted.
And so this can be applied to many different things in many different contexts.
So I'll just give another example of employees.
We've worked with various people and no disrespect to anyone.
Of course,
We've had lots of people we were very grateful for them.
And there was one person who we worked with who did a lot of great work,
But it got to a point where they were not doing the things that we asked them to do,
Which we valued.
And instead we're doing things that they valued that we didn't need.
So we ended up having a lot of stuff done that we didn't ask and didn't want and not have things done that we needed doing and wanted doing and valued doing.
And so instead of giving a raise,
We had to let them go.
And we've had other people working for us who've listened to what we want and given us the things that we need actually,
You know,
What we're working on.
And we've ended up paying them more and more and more because they are adding massive value.
And going out of their way to tune into what we would value and what our customers would value and making wonderful suggestions and going ahead and creating great things.
And that's what we do.
We're doing things and that's really valuable to us because we're busy.
We have our minds focused on plenty of other things.
So this beautiful person working for us took initiative to say,
Hey,
What could I offer that would be a value,
You know,
To us and to our customers.
So we're just giving some practical examples here.
And this applies across the board in so many different contexts and so many different situations that values in the eye of the beholder,
People pay for things they value.
So if you want money,
Then the number one thing is to ask yourself,
Is to ask yourself,
What do people value that I can provide?
What do people value that I can provide?
If you ask yourself that question enough times with enough sincerity,
Guess what will happen?
Your subconscious mind will start to deliver the answers to you,
You'll start getting all sorts of fabulous ideas about what you could do to add value to others.
And as a result of that,
Whether it's a new product,
If you're an entrepreneur,
Or whether it's something in your business,
If you're working with other people or whatever your situation is,
You will start to come up with good ideas that are valuable to others.
And as a result of that,
They will want to give you more money.
Yes.
And I'll give you two more examples that come to mind.
Local businesses here in Sedona,
Arizona,
That they just listen to what people value.
So one,
It's a company called Thanks for the Help.
They're wonderful.
And they've grown so much.
They just started out with doing things people needed help with,
Whether it's moving,
Moving furniture to a new home,
Whether it's,
I think the first time they came by,
We had these big wooden crates that us when Asana arrived in,
And we didn't,
We didn't have a way of disposing of them.
So they came and picked them up and disposed of them for us.
We were one of their first customers.
And I tried to get rid of these,
These pallets myself,
But it would just wreck the car and they were just too big.
So we called them up and they were recommended to us from somebody else.
And they came and they took care of it for a reasonable price.
Yeah.
Amazing people and their business has like quadrupled.
It has grown so much.
They do all sorts of moves for people and help people with all sorts of things.
And thanks for the help.
It's just doing things that people need help with,
You know,
Moving,
Rearranging things,
Whatever it is.
Another business that at the time of recording,
I think has more recently opened is a CBD business,
Pain relief.
And,
And they have these pain relief salves like creams that you can put on your body anywhere you have pain.
And they're wonderful.
And they do really well,
As far as I can tell,
You know,
Because people value pain relief.
They're looking for things that will help them to feel better.
That's right.
So this is another secret to what people value,
Pain relief of different kinds,
Massage,
Mental and emotional pain relief.
In fact,
Most products,
If you assess them,
Are what in one way or another pain relief,
Like for example,
I've been working on our garden,
You know,
A beautiful deck with wonderful flowers,
Which we value.
That's why we spend money on garden things.
And one of the things that I value in the garden is having a watering system that can water the plants for me in case I forget,
I don't want them to die.
So there's,
There's a product that does that has a timer with different things,
And it's quite complicated,
But it works really well most of the time.
And it avoids the pain relief of me having to water the garden all the time and it stops our plants dying.
So that's an example of creating something beautiful,
But ultimately it's pain relief.
Almost everything actually comes under the category of pain relief.
People value pain relief more than pleasure.
So just keep that in mind.
Pain relief is valued much,
Much,
Much higher,
Especially urgent pain than seeking pleasure.
And even pleasure is often a form of pain relief on in a different context.
So there are a few examples for you.
I think we've given a little bit of a variety.
So hopefully that helps you to tune in with how this can apply to your life.
Again,
If you don't have your own business,
You're not an entrepreneur and you,
You work for a company and you love that again,
Tune into how you can add more value to the company as a whole.
What,
What can you do?
And that can result in a raise or an,
A new position as well.
So whatever situation you're in,
Ask yourself this really tune in with it.
If you meditate,
Bring this question into your meditation,
Allow your mind to open and reveal to you whatever actions you need to take.
And one last little secret in this is that what people value is often very strange and not what you expect and often not what you value.
And this is extremely important to understand because we might think that logically people should,
According to our belief system value this,
This and this.
And what they actually value is a bunch of other things.
Right.
So really think about it,
Get creative that one business I mentioned earlier,
Thanks for the help.
They could paid some time to come to an elderly person's home and,
And move the couch because their mattress.
Yeah.
Because that's what's valued.
You know,
These people value that sort of help.
So often it's actually right under your nose as well.
It's often easier than you think,
You know,
People might value,
Um,
Like if you're working for a company,
Someone who you're working for might value that you say certain things to them or you bring them something or something,
Something,
Or you get,
You do a certain thing that you think is ridiculous.
Some of these things you might think is absolutely ridiculous,
But when you do it,
They're so happy.
They're so happy.
Everyone's really,
Really happy about it.
And that is what leads to more wealth.
You know,
Oftentimes the products and services we've come up with the things that we ourselves don't need,
Don't particularly want,
Don't,
Don't we,
You know,
It's kind of obvious to us,
But other people are like,
Oh my God,
That's so great.
You know,
Some of the things well,
And even when we do meditations on insight timer,
The things that,
That we might think are the best meditations that we're all happy about other people may not like them as much as the ones that,
That we did because people asked for,
But we don't need it.
So just be aware that often times it's easier and different and a bit strange from your point of view,
But it leads to a lot of wealth.
Right.
Okay.
I'm just going to give you two more quick examples,
Just to give you a little more perspective.
So one that just came to mind is the spiritual teacher,
David Hawkins,
And he used to live in Sedona.
He's passed now.
I remember he would share on his,
Some of his teachings that you can go just about anywhere and see if people need their windows watched.
Apparently he did that for years,
Wherever he went,
He would always make money because people needed help washing their windows.
And so he would often share,
You know,
Sometimes you just need to be humble and open to whatever it is.
And it doesn't have to be what you do forever,
But you know,
Get creative and keep your mind open.
Another one more example is a lovely soul who works with us years ago.
She was one of our students in,
In our courses.
She reached out and said,
Do you need any help?
I'd really love to help you.
I just love what you're doing.
I would love to help you.
How can I help?
And at the time we didn't have someone helping us with customer service.
We said,
Yeah,
We do need help.
And years and years and years later,
You know,
We're,
We're working together and she does so many wonderful things in our business and she makes plenty of money and it's turned into this beautiful valuable relationship for her,
For us,
For our customers,
Everyone,
Because she reached out and said,
How can I help you?
Do you need any help?
That's so true.
The attitude so important.
The,
The thanks for the help company,
Christopher,
We're giving him blessings today.
Thanks for the help.
He has such a great attitude.
You know,
He's willing to do hard work,
Willing to put in the time.
And guess what?
He is very wealthy now.
You know,
He does a lot of different things than his business has grown exponentially.
It's incredible how,
How much things have changed since those days,
Not so long ago.
So another thing again is,
Is being willing to put in the work,
The hard work.
That's why often immigrants who come to America or to other countries,
They don't mind working hard.
A lot of them,
Some of them of course don't,
But a lot of them do.
And they go on to create enormous amounts of wealth in time because of good worth ethic.
So adding value and of course being able to put in the work and figuring out what people want.
These are things that they might sound a little bit abstract initially,
But when you start thinking practically,
What does that look like in your context,
Then everything starts to change.
So it all starts with an idea.
It all starts with thinking in the right way.
Wonderful.
So let's move on to the next thing,
The third key.
So the first key of course is getting the relationship right.
So you want money.
Second key is figuring out the idea.
How can you add value?
So you open that door and you've got a good idea.
And the third key,
Which opens the door is how can I create value?
Because remember,
Having a great idea,
There's lots of people who figured out the first two keys.
They want money,
They like money,
And they've got a wonderful idea,
But they haven't done anything with it.
They just sit around,
Sort of hoping something happens one day.
The third key is finding the gains one day.
The third thing is we have to create the value.
We actually have to invest our time,
Our energy,
Our breath,
Our heart and soul in creating the value.
You know,
Our own,
I could have said today,
Oh,
Let's just sit here on the deck.
We were just sitting outside,
Just enjoying ourselves having lunch on the deck.
It was all just wonderful.
We could have just sat there and thought,
Oh,
Wasn't it wonderful?
Wonderful to enjoy ourselves But no,
We wanted to actually share these things with you.
So,
And here we are sitting here.
So we have to go from the idea to actually putting it out there into the world.
Taking elevated action.
So we start with the idea,
The inspiration,
The clarity,
And then we have to start moving it into action.
And just a note here is that usually you have to do quite a bit of tinkering,
Experimenting.
It's very unlikely to get things just right,
Right off the bat,
But you have to start somewhere.
And as you start moving in that direction of taking action,
The path will continue to be revealed to you.
Like I shared in the beginning for our Spiritual Life Coach Certification course,
It didn't start out with that framing.
And exactly now we've added even more to the course,
So it didn't start out in the way it is now.
But you have to start somewhere with what you know already and what people value and then keep increasing it,
Keep refining it,
And keep moving in that direction of increasing and increasing and increasing the value for other people.
That's right.
Everything's a test.
When we have the consciousness,
Everything's a test.
Try it out,
See what works.
Create the value,
Do the best we can.
Then we are moving in the right direction.
And remember,
We've talked about this before,
That we might think,
Oh,
I did this and it was so great and I really did hard work,
But no one appreciated it.
If people don't appreciate what we do,
It's because we're not actually creating value for them.
This is another important,
Kind of subtle thing to be aware of.
It's not about hard work.
It's about giving people the value that they appreciate.
So this actually works as well with relationships.
Of course,
No one's gonna pay you,
But you get paid with love and blessing.
So for example,
Ariel appreciates that I put on the food and make the juice in the morning.
Right?
I really do.
Yeah.
They value that.
I might do all these other things and say,
Why doesn't she appreciate me for it?
Because she doesn't care,
But she likes her juice and she likes her meal in the morning.
And so the time I put into doing that is appreciated by her.
And of course that helps when we're in relationships,
When we do things that the other person values and it creates a beautiful relationship of good vibes.
So remember creating the value,
You can tune into it.
Is it actually appreciated by the other person?
And if it is,
Then that's a good sign.
Even if you don't get paid right away,
You know that you're going in the right direction because people give thanks and praise.
Yeah.
So tune in with the level of gratitude and appreciation.
You really want to be hitting the mark with what they value.
And again,
It often may not be what you value,
But it's something that you can offer.
It's something that you can give.
So it's really an elevated act of compassion and love.
And I think this is a spiritual practice in and of itself to be tuned in with what do they need?
What do they value?
How can I help you?
And try things out.
You know,
You've got to try,
Try it out,
See what works,
See what doesn't work.
Many,
Many times it's easier than you think.
And one of the easiest ways to find out is simply to ask.
I was talking to one of our clients recently and she was asking me,
Mostly women,
There always seems to be more women seem to be spiritually minded and want to help others.
Of course,
The brothers are there as well,
But she was asking,
How do I come up with these good ideas about what people want?
And when she sees other people doing great work,
She thinks that they must have just have a knack for figuring out the best ideas and putting it together.
And I said to her,
No,
No,
It's actually not really that complicated.
All it is,
Is that you ask what people want.
And guess what happens?
They tell you what they want.
You know,
We actually have an ongoing process for many,
Many years now of asking people,
What do you want?
What do you need?
What's your problem?
What are your main issues?
And they tell us,
And we go,
Oh,
Well,
Let's figure out how we can help you with that then.
Even this audio,
You know,
When I do coaching calls,
I always ask,
What do you need help with?
Obviously,
I shouldn't just go on and on about what I think they need.
I ask them,
They tell me,
And then we work on what they need.
So asking is a very easy way to find out whether or not it's something they need.
And then when you help them,
You can say,
Are you happy?
Is that,
Was that helpful?
Could it be done differently?
Like if I'm making juice and Ariel consistently doesn't like the juice,
Then I'm gonna have to change the recipe because there's no point in her going,
Oh,
I don't like this,
You know,
Cause what's the point of it?
So I just change it a little bit.
Normally she's,
Are you happy with the juice?
I am,
I was thinking you used to put way too much ginger and it would just ruin the whole juice.
It was so strong,
You know,
Hard to drink.
I've had to cut back on the ginger.
So we can just ask,
What do you need?
What's going on?
Find out.
The key thing is to actually take the time to put things into practice and see the results,
See if it's helping and then refine based on what you can see.
So very important key here,
Very important in this process of creating wealth and have fun with it,
You know,
Get creative,
Tune in with other people and what they need.
And I think this is healing for ourselves to step outside of ourselves and be of service,
You know,
In a real way.
Ultimately what we're talking about today is compassion,
It's compassion.
Compassion means active love,
Where you really care about someone else,
You understand what they're going through and you do something to serve them.
So really it's just about being compassionate.
Compassion leads to wealth.
And you serve them in such a real way that guess what?
They want to pay you.
They want to pay you,
You know,
When we have a service that we appreciate so much,
I can't wait to pay the person,
You know,
I'm so grateful for their help that I'm really happy to pay them.
That's right.
I remember seeing an email from someone,
One of our students and she said,
I haven't seen the money's been deducted from my card yet.
I want to make sure you have the right card and you take the money.
You know,
I thought that was quite sweet because normally if people that happen,
People would say,
Well,
I got away with it.
You know,
Let's just not say anything and hope for the best.
But when people actually go out of their way to make sure you get paid,
It means you're doing something well.
So the fourth thing,
The last key,
Is that once you have value and you figured out what people want and you're already helping them,
The fourth thing is to share it,
To let people know about it.
And in marketing terms,
It's called marketing or direct response marketing or whatever other terms advertising.
Essentially,
If you have something good,
If it's absolutely wonderful,
Let's say you've written a book,
You figured out what people need,
You know they need it,
You know they want it,
You've got the solution,
You've got the book,
It's on your laptop,
It's the best book in the world,
But there's nothing happening because no one knows about it because you have to share it,
You have to publish it and let people know that it exists.
So marketing really just means to let people know that the thing that you have,
The valuable thing you have is available.
And it's just another form of compassionate communication.
You know,
One of the main things to remember is just to communicate with people in a way that they know that you get it,
That you understand them.
And when they can feel that you understand them and have compassion and love,
Then you share what you have to offer,
Right?
And this can be done in various ways.
It depends on your situation,
If it's a physical business or online business,
You're working for another company.
This could take so many forms,
Like if you're working for someone else,
It could just be saying,
Hey,
You know,
I have this great idea,
What do you think?
Would you appreciate adding this value,
This service to the company?
Or if it's your own business,
If it's online,
Maybe you run a few Facebook ads and you make sure that those ads are shown to people who are interested in being free from pain,
For example,
They might like other pages related to pain relief,
Or I'm just giving one example here.
Marketing ideas here.
Right,
So you just need to make sure you're putting it in front of the right people.
And we overall recommend Facebook ads or if you have a website,
Optimizing your pages for keywords so that you reach the right people.
You know,
We don't really recommend just putting an ad in a magazine or running it on television or radio because oftentimes it's hard to ensure that you are connecting with the right people who are actively seeking your help.
So you definitely want to be clear about that and use the mediums that allow you to detail who you're targeting,
You know,
Make sure it's actually being shown to the right people.
Or again,
With things like search engine optimization for websites,
Your website has the keywords that people are typing in to find the value you're offering.
So these are some tips,
They may be relevant to you,
May not be relevant to you,
But the point being you need to start somewhere and it could even be by word of mouth to start with.
That's right.
And even if you said to the people you're helping,
Let me know if you need anything,
I'm here to help.
I mean,
That's such a beautiful thing to say,
Isn't it?
To someone say,
Are you okay?
Is there anything I can do?
I mean,
That in itself is massive value.
How many people say,
Are you all right?
If there's anything I can do,
Just let me know.
It makes a big difference.
It makes a big difference,
When you go to hotels and restaurants and things,
The waitresses,
Waiters often say,
Let me know if there's anything I can do.
And you appreciate it because actually,
If you can get me this thing,
If you can take care of this thing,
It's when they don't say that and you have to go out your way and push these buttons and do all these things and nothing happens,
Then it's a different feeling.
So even asking the question,
What can I do is a massive service.
That's in a sense,
Marketing yourself.
Right,
And in that example with the waiter or waitress,
They'll get paid more,
Simple as that.
They'll definitely get more money in their tips.
Yeah.
So sharing what you do,
Letting people know about it.
There's many businesses who do great stuff and they don't tell other people or even their existing customers that they do it.
They might have a side thing that you don't know about and you find it,
Oh my God,
If I had only known about that,
I would have been using it for years.
We were recently talking about Whole Foods Market and they don't deliver in Sedona for some reason.
And if they did,
We would be very happy to have our things delivered because it would make our lives a bit easier.
So that would be an example.
And maybe they do,
They haven't shared it with us.
Do you see what I mean?
So there's often times with something where you have a great product,
You have a great idea,
Whether it's talking to people you work with or whether it's a new product,
You have to let them know about it.
Otherwise,
How are they going to find out?
So,
You know,
Pretty straightforward,
Right?
These four keys,
They're not like rocket science.
They're,
You know,
Simple.
They're very simple down to earth,
Practical things you can do to create wealth.
And I think you'll have a wonderful time doing it.
This is simple.
It's something that anyone can do.
Anyone can follow these steps,
These keys and create wealth in your life and just start somewhere.
It's not necessarily where you'll end up,
But start somewhere,
You know,
And wonderful things will start to unfold when you're in this state of mind,
This state of consciousness.
How can I help?
What value can be added?
And appreciating,
Of course,
Money and the gifts and the value that it brings to your life.
That's right.
So remember,
You are the creator.
Wealth isn't something that just appears out of nowhere.
You create wealth.
It's very important to write this down.
I am a creator.
And that gives the power back to you.
So again,
The four things,
Number one is to value money,
Have appreciation,
Do the exercise we mentioned.
Second thing is what other people value that I can create.
There's many,
Many,
Many ways of doing that.
And once you ask the question,
Then it will start to appear in your mind.
Then actually creating the value and trying things out.
And finally,
Letting other people know,
Let more people know about the value that you have.
And if it really is something that's a good idea,
Which it will be if you've done the practices,
Then they'll say,
Oh my God,
Thank you,
Thank you,
Thank you.
How can I pay you?
That's right.
So go ahead and apply these four keys in your life.
Remember,
Like we shared in the beginning,
There's nothing wrong with you.
There's no spiritual reason or character flaw,
The reason that money is just not coming to you.
It's just that you have to follow these four keys.
What do people value and create that?
So you can let all that go if you've been feeling bad that for some reason you haven't been able to create money,
Your wonderful soul,
And you have wonderful things to share.
And it's now your time to create wealth in your life.
So thank you,
Thank you for your wonderful presence.
And may you experience profound wealth through creating wealth,
Through being that powerful,
Powerful creator that you are.
And as you have that compassion in your heart,
You will share,
You will serve,
You will create wonderful blessings for others,
And money will be received.
Money will be received by you.
The money will come back into your life.
The wealth will come in different ways,
Not just money,
And your whole life will become wealthy.
So many blessings to you.
Every blessing of wealth,
Health,
And happiness,
Receive it,
Create it,
Enjoy it,
Bless others with it.
It's a wonderful thing.
You're a wonderful soul,
And we look forward to connecting with you soon.
And thank you for the beautiful value that you create in the world.
So we'll talk soon.
Namaste.
And much love.
