This Full Moon in Taurus is met with another major transit, the end of Saturn Retrograde in Pisces. While we may feel the push for forward motion in our long term goals, this fixed earth sign reminds us to indulge in a pause and move mindfully. This ritual meditation will support you in moving forward with intention by clearing out old mental constructs or perspectives, honoring the value in a pause and tune back into our body for wisdom rather than our mind for logic.

Hi friends,

My name is Ashley and thank you for joining me for this full moon ritual meditation in the sign of Taurus.

Full moons can be a time of heightened energy with the moon at its fullest strength.

So it's perfect that Taurus,

The fixed earth sign symbolized by the bowl,

Invites us to slow down,

Take a pause,

Ground into our senses,

And let life be simple through pure being.

Start by arriving and setting up your meditation space.

If it's possible for you,

Bring yourself to a room or outdoors to meditate under the full moonlight.

Otherwise,

Option to light some candles or incense.

Tidy up your space.

If you like to meditate with crystals,

Have your crystals around you or charge them in the moonlight.

Feel free to pause this audio so you can get your space situated for your meditation.

Begin to arrive in your comfortable meditation position,

Whatever that looks like for you.

Whether that is seated with the spine long,

Crown of the head reaching for the constellations.

Or whether that is laying down on the floor,

Your couch or your recliner.

Take a moment to settle into a position where the spine is unobstructed so you can take a nice full,

Long,

Deep breath.

If you haven't done so already,

Close down the eyes or soften the gaze.

And let's begin to clear out your current energy with the breath.

Deep inhale through the nose.

Exhale,

Open mouth sigh.

Another inhale through the nose,

This time hold it at the top just for a sip.

And exhale,

Big release out the mouth.

One more inhale through the nose,

Little extra sip at the top.

And full exhale out,

Let it go.

Return to your natural rhythm of breath,

And just notice where the breath is circulating in your body right now.

Then begin to notice the grounding blanket of gravity over you as your body relaxes into the earth with each breath.

As you drop further into your meditative state,

Begin by bringing your hands to your navel in Dhyani Mudra.

With your palms facing up,

Place the right hand on top of the left and connect the thumbs together.

In this meditation seal of contemplation,

Feel the energy circulate through the triangular shape of your palms.

Now begin to see the full moon in Taurus resting in the hammock of your hands.

This shiny,

Glimmering orb,

This mini full moon.

Inhale through the nose,

See the full moon rise to the top of your head,

The crown chakra.

Exhale out the nostrils,

See the moon drift back down to your palms.

Inhale,

The moon floats up over your head.

Exhale,

The moon descends into the nest of your palms.

Inhale,

The moon floats up over your head.

Exhale,

The moon cascades down.

Inhale,

The moon descends into the nest of your palms.

Continue with this breath at your own pace.

Each inhale,

The moon travels to the crown of your head.

Each exhale,

The moon softly falls into your hands in this mudra or seal.

Hold the calming energy of the moon in your palms on the exhale.

Gently let go of the breath.

You can release your palms or keep them where they are.

Just begin to settle back into your natural rhythm of breath.

Taurus thrives on security,

Stability,

And consistency.

Taurus thrives on security,

Stability,

And consistency.

We'll invite the physical and emotional sensation of stability within your own body through your senses.

So begin to gently shift your awareness to your body.

Notice where your body meets the ground or the support beneath you.

Feel a sense of grounding at each point where your body is anchored.

Now connect with each of your physical senses.

First,

Become aware of yourself.

First,

Become aware of your sense of sight.

What do you see even behind closed eyes?

Get in tune with your sense of sound.

What do you hear close by?

What do you hear from afar?

Now notice your sense of smell.

Is there a very subtle scent you can pick up on?

Shift to your sense of taste.

What do you notice lingering on your tongue?

Ground into your sense of touch.

Can you become fully aware of the clothes on your skin,

The ground beneath you,

What your hands may be touching,

And immerse fully in those sensations.

In this space of grounding into your senses,

Become aware if any of your senses have been neglected lately.

Can you curate more consciousness into that sense?

Indulge in the simple luxury of having each of your senses one by one.

Experience the pure presence of them under this full moon.

Full moons signify a time of release and celebration.

Reflect on your life with the following open questions.

There is no right or wrong,

Just allow whatever to come to arrive without judgment or force.

What can you celebrate about your resources,

Your relationship with beauty,

And the skills you've developed over the past six months?

Celebrate even the small wins.

Now take a moment to release what is no longer aligned with your life.

What fixed perspective are you ready to let go of?

What in your life has stopped you from attaining what you've desired?

Release the mental constructs that stop you from getting what you desire.

Let them simply float off the crown of your head and disappear into the moonlight.

Let the full moon shine light on your boundaries with time.

Let the full moon shine light on your boundaries with time.

Where do you find resistance between pausing and staying in motion?

Why might you feel the need to race to the finish line?

How has fear of the unknown held you back from taking risks?

Do you find yourself clinging to the reality in front of you?

Or do you lean into faith and trust how life will unfold?

Now envision yourself standing in front of the full moon's light.

Your face and your body completely submerged by the moonlight.

Immerse in the full moon's purifying light.

Feeling it amplify your desire for comfort and security.

Feeling it amplify your desire for comfort and security.

Connecting you deeper to your body's wisdom rather than your mind's logic.

Connecting you deeper to your body's wisdom rather than your mind's logic.

The white silvery lunar light cleanses and releases any resistance in taking a pause in life.

Feel the moon beaming down into your body,

Suspending your soul in space and time.

Feel the moon beaming down into your body,

Suspending your soul in space and time.

Take this cosmic pause.

From the space deep within your heart,

Begin to radiate gratitude to the moon for all it has revealed to you.

From the space deep within your heart,

Begin to radiate gratitude to the moon for all it has revealed to you.

This gratitude permeates the logical and cognitive parts of your brain.

It's not something you need to force your mind to do.

You just simply embody gratitude for her lunar essence,

For illuminating your shadows for release,

And closing this lunar cycle in your life.

Slowly deepen your breath,

Feeling the back side of your body lift closer to the front side of your body.

Slowly deepen your breath,

Feeling the back side of your body lift closer to the front side of your body.

As you slowly reawaken,

Notice the points of contact your body makes with the ground.

Staying anchored,

Mindfully invite soft movement to your fingers and toes.

Staying anchored,

Mindfully invite soft movement to your fingers and toes.

And when it feels good to you,

Begin to move more parts of your body.

Maybe rolling the wrists and the ankles,

Rolling out the neck.

Gently open your eyes and journal on any insight you received,

Or continue on with your full moon ritual.

Thank you so much for joining me.

Happy full moon in Taurus.
