Hello and welcome to this meditation for Virgo moons.

This meditation is designed to support you emotionally and offer a haven of safety for you as a Virgo moon.

Your moon represents your inner world,

Your ever-shifting emotions,

And your physical and emotional needs.

So the sign of your moon reveals what nurturing style supports your soul the most on a daily basis.

It is through the moon that we live out our life purpose daily,

Get our needs met,

And express our inner world through our emotions.

Let's start this meditation by arriving in your comfortable meditative position,

Whatever that looks like for you.

Whether that is seated with the spine long,

Crown of the head reaching for the constellations,

Or whether that is laying down on the floor,

Your couch,

Or your recliner.

Take a moment to settle into a position where the spine is unobstructed,

So you can take a nice,

Full,

Long,

Deep breath.

Close down the eyes or soften the gaze,

And let's begin to clear out your current energy with the breath.

Take a deep inhale through the nose,

Exhale,

Open mouth sigh.

Another inhale through the nose,

This time hold it at the top just for a sip,

And exhale,

Big release out the mouth.

One more inhale through the nose,

Little extra sip at the top,

And full exhale out,

Let it go.

Return to your natural rhythm of breath,

And just notice where the breath is circulating in your body right now.

Let's begin with a vagus nerve practice to decompress the mind.

Virgo moons tend to have an active mind,

Since Mercury is Virgo's planetary ruler.

Virgo moons tend to constantly assess,

Perfect,

And criticize.

While those are your gifts,

They don't need to take over your entire mental space,

So we'll spend some time quieting Bu's voices.

Start by bringing both thumbs to the inner corner of your eyebrows,

And gently press into them.

Wrap your other fingers along the upper ridge of your eyebrows,

And apply gentle pressure to your skull,

Your frontal cortex.

Begin to allow the weight of your head to lean into your fingers,

And decompress all the tension here.

Activating the vagus nerve to signal to your body you are here to rest and relax.

Softly breathe into the headspace,

Melting away the activity in the mind.

Release the hands from your eyebrows and forehead.

Gently lift the head back to neutral.

Allow the hands to rest in your lap,

Or fall by your side.

Take a deep inhale to recalibrate.

Exhale to settle in.

Bring your awareness now to the center of your forehead.

Soften the eyebrows,

Expanding the space across your forehead.

Unclench the jaw.

Release the tongue from the roof of your mouth.

Allow a soft part in the lips.

Relax the ears.

Drop the shoulders as if they're melting down your back.

And soften the grip of the neck.

Allow your head to just rest gently on your neck.

Become aware of the brain.

Feel it relax underneath the skull.

Notice how your brain syncs to the rhythm of your heartbeat,

Once you allow it to slow down,

Once you encourage your brain to stop outpacing the rest of your body.

Drop your awareness on your third eye center,

The space in between the eyebrows,

The intuitive knowing and wisdom innately within you.

Recognize the power of your third eye.

Then bring the pointer and middle finger of your right hand to rest on your third eye.

Feel the transfer of energy here.

We'll do a breathing technique called Nadi Shodhana,

Or alternate nostril breathing,

To balance both sides of your body and brain.

First,

Use your thumb to close your right nostril.

Inhale through the left nostril.

Close the left nostril with your ring finger.

Release the thumb.

Exhale out the right nostril.

Inhale through the right nostril.

Thumb closes the right nostril.

Release the ring finger.

Exhale out the left.

Inhale through the left.

Ring finger closes the left nostril.

Thumb releases.

Exhale out the right.

Releasing one finger each time to allow the air to come out the other side.

Inhale through the right.

Close with your thumb.

Exhale out the left.

Inhale through the left.

Close with your ring finger and exhale out the right.

Inhale through the right.

Close and exhale out the left.

Inhale through the left.

Close and exhale out the right.

Inhale through the right.

Close and exhale out the left.

Inhale through the left.

Close and exhale out the right.

Take a few more rounds of this breath on your own,

Alternating each nostril for each inhale and exhale.

Take just a few more rounds,

Ending with an exhale out to your left nostril.

Then release your hand and take a few smooth,

Deep breaths through both nostrils.

As you return to even and equal breathing,

Allow the shifts of both sides of your brain to equalize.

Immerse in this sensation of homeostasis.

Now envision the moon full and bright over the crown of your head.

Picture the soft white light descending over you,

Creating a cocoon of safety.

This silvery moonlight beams down into the crown of your head.

Focus on your breath to move this white light through the nooks of your brain,

Each curvature within the casing of your brain.

Cleansing your mental space,

Clearing it of any unnecessary chatter and clutter.

Feel each beam of light dissolve any self-critical thoughts.

This pure white moonlight continues to descend over your mind and releases your most harmful self-critiques.

Bring to light any self-imposed barriers you may have.

Then quickly see them dissipate from your head.

And into the dark of the night sky.

The moon's illuminating light gently cleanses your internal mental screen,

Helping you see things as they truly are,

Rather than focusing on their imperfections.

This clarity sets you free from the confines of perfection,

Allowing your mind to exist beyond the box you've created,

To flow formless and shapeless,

Knowing you are still worthy even without these borders.

Sit with this feeling of liberation and freedom.

Begin to deepen the breath,

Reawakening the body gently by breathing deep into the core.

Softly invite movement into the body,

Maybe wiggling the fingers and toes,

Rolling out the neck and head.

Whenever you are ready to close your meditation practice,

Bring both hands to your heart,

One stacked on top of another.

Feel the warmth of your hands awakening the qualities of your moon sign,

Interconnected to your soul.

Take one nurturing inhale through the nose,

Sealing your moon into your soul.

An expansive exhale out the mouth,

Sharing your moon into the universe.

Gently open the eyes,

Coming back into your space.

Thank you for sharing your meditation practice with me.
