Hello and welcome to this meditation for Leo moons.
This meditation is designed to support you emotionally and offer a haven of safety for you as a Leo moon.
Your moon represents your inner world,
Your ever-shifting emotions,
And your physical and emotional needs.
So the sign of your moon reveals what nurturing style supports your soul the most on a daily basis.
It is through the moon that we live out our life purpose daily,
Get our needs met,
And express our inner world through our emotions.
Let's start this meditation by arriving in your comfortable meditative position,
Whatever that looks like for you.
Whether that is seated with the spine long,
Crown of the head reaching for the constellations,
Or whether that is laying down on the floor,
Your couch,
Or your recliner.
Take a moment to settle into a position where the spine is unobstructed so you can take a nice,
Full,
Long,
Deep breath.
Close down the eyes or soften the gaze and let's begin to clear out your current energy with the breath.
Take a deep inhale through the nose.
Exhale,
Open mouth sigh.
Another inhale through the nose,
This time hold it at the top just for a sip.
And exhale,
Big release out the mouth.
One more inhale through the nose,
Little extra sip at the top.
And full exhale out,
Let it go.
Return to your natural rhythm of breath and just notice where the breath is circulating in your body right now.
Begin to drop your awareness deeper and deeper into the body.
Allow the mind to drop into the heart space.
Center your focus on your heart,
Right at the center of your chest.
Notice how the heart is beating.
Then,
In your mind's eye,
Begin to visualize the blood circulating from the heart out to the rest of your body.
Sit with the feeling of life pulsating through your veins,
How it flows out of your heart to your shoulders,
Arms,
And fingertips.
Life pulsates from your heart to your abdomen and digestive organs.
It vibrates out your heart down to your pelvis,
Your thighs,
Calves,
And toes.
Then feel this blood flow of life reverberating up your spine,
Circulating to your neck,
Face,
Head,
And brain.
Now connect back with the energetic center of the heart space,
Its capacity for love,
Compassion,
And dedication.
Honor and recognize the unique way your heart expresses itself.
Maybe it's a feeling,
A sensation,
Or even a color or texture.
Breathe into the uniqueness of your heart.
Connect deeper to your breath,
Inviting in some long,
Smooth inhales and exhales.
Let's take a deep inhale through the nose,
Driving the breath towards the heart,
Expanding it.
Then deep exhale out the mouth.
We'll take a few more deep breaths.
Next exhale,
Taking a lion's breath by sticking out your tongue and making an ah noise.
Inhale through the nose,
Expand the heart.
Exhale,
Lion's breath,
Big tongue out,
Ah.
Inhale through the nose.
Exhale,
Lion's breath,
Tongue out.
Another one just like that.
Inhale.
Exhale,
Loud,
Proud lion's breath.
In the next round,
We'll slowly bring the lion's tongue back in,
Taking a baby lion's breath.
Inhale through the nose.
Exhale,
Bring the tongue in slightly,
Baby lion's breath.
Inhale.
Exhale,
Retract the tongue a little bit more,
Baby lion's breath.
Inhale.
Exhale,
Small opening in the mouth,
Poke the tongue out slightly,
Baby lion's breath.
Last breath,
Making this being a small but still fierce,
Baby lion's breath.
Inhale.
Exhale,
Just the tip of the tongue pokes out,
Soft,
Baby lion's breath.
Return to your natural rhythm of breath,
Embodying the invigorating spirit of the Leo lion in your own body.
Observe how the spectrum of the lion's power feels in your body.
Are you feeling like a loud,
Proud lion today?
Or a soft,
Baby lion?
Or somewhere in between?
Wherever you find yourself today,
Recognize the unwavering tenacity and strength of the lion,
Always present within your spirit as a Leo moon.
Now picture the Sun in your mind's eye.
Become immersed by its bright,
Golden light,
Radiating over your whole body.
The sparkling yellow gold light pours into your heart space,
Filling you with confidence and vitality for life.
Immerse in the sensation of golden light,
Shining brighter and brighter from your heart,
Expanding out to your entire aura,
The energetic field that surrounds you.
You are completely beaming with this glowing solar energy.
How you feel safe as a Leo moon is to shine,
To be recognized,
And to express yourself authentically.
Know that you do not always need others to create the spotlight for you.
With the golden light dazzling from your heart,
You create the spotlight for yourself.
See yourself standing on your inner stage with your arms outstretched in the spotlight of your own heart.
You arrive in your fullest,
Most authentic expression.
What does that feel like for you?
As you continue standing on the stage,
You bring both hands to your heart and immediately feel confident energy surging through you.
You begin to speak into the microphone and tell yourself,
Because I appreciate myself,
Others can appreciate me.
I allow myself to receive love and attention.
Feel these words reverberate in the stage of your heart.
Begin to deepen the breath,
Reawakening the body gently by breathing deep into the core.
Softly invite movement into the body,
Maybe wiggling the fingers and toes,
Rolling out the neck and head.
Whenever you are ready to close your meditation practice,
Bring both hands to your heart,
One stacked on top of another.
Feel the warmth of your hands awakening the qualities of your moon sign interconnected to your soul.
Take one nurturing inhale through the nose,
Sealing your moon into your soul.
An expansive exhale out the mouth,
Sharing your moon into the universe.
Gently open the eyes,
Coming back into your space.
