Using your breath and affirmation, you'll reconnect to positivity and encouragement to guide you through this difficult emotional time. Transcript

Begin by settling into a space that feels safe to you,

Where you can be held and nurtured and feel absolutely safe and comfortable.

Find a meditation position that supports your body,

Sitting upright with your feet on the ground or maybe laying down on a yoga mat,

Bed or couch with your low back supported.

Wherever you have landed,

Make sure both palms are face up to the sky.

Close down the eyes or soften the gaze and begin to take a few deep loving breaths.

Inhale through your nose and exhale,

Sigh it out the mouth.

Continue taking just a few deep breaths to settle in.

Feel into your body.

Where is it holding the pain?

Where is it holding the hurt?

Give these parts of your body some love by breathing into them,

Allowing yourself to just breathe and feel.

Begin to breathe in through your left palm and feel the healing energy coursing through your left arm into your heart.

As you breathe out,

Release the pain the heart is holding out of the right palm.

Inhale through your left palm,

Hold that healing energy in your heart.

Exhale,

Transmute that energy,

The pain that you're holding out of your right palm and right arm.

Continue to inhale in confidence,

Love and healing through your left palm,

Sending it to your heart space.

Then exhale the aches from your heart out of your right palm.

When you release on the right,

Give your heartbreak,

Negativity to the universe.

It is no longer yours to hold.

Continue taking a few more breaths in through the left,

Releasing the hurt on the right.

Let go of this breath and gently sit with how you feel in your heart at this very moment.

Then begin to repeat these affirmations to yourself.

I am beautiful.

I am courageous.

I stand for my principles.

I am strong.

I am healing.

I honor myself.

I respect myself.

My sensitivities make me stronger.

I am beautiful.

We'll repeat these affirmations one more time.

Tell yourself,

I am beautiful.

I am courageous.

I stand for my principles.

I stand for my principles.

I am strong.

I am healing.

I honor myself.

I respect myself.

I am courageous.

My sensitivity makes me stronger.

Sit with the vibration of these words as they permeate your soul and your mind.

Know that these words reflect the truth.

Then feel a sense of gratitude wash over you like a cleansing,

Sparkling shower.

Tell yourself,

I am grateful to have time and space to heal and feel.

I am grateful for the circumstances that have brought me here and the lessons I have learned.

I am grateful to these people in my life.

I am grateful to feel these emotions.

I am grateful for this life.

All you have to do in this moment is receive these words and heal.

Take a few moments to contemplate on gratitude and peace as it recovers the breakages in your heart.

Begin to feel lighter,

Knowing that gratitude and peace are always feelings you can access when you experience them.

Knowing that gratitude and peace are always feelings you can access when you experience tough times.

Whenever you are ready to close your meditation in no rush at all,

Take a loving breath in and a loving breath out.
