This new moon in Aquarius is a beautiful way to set intentions around community,
The collective,
And also our relationship with the mind.
Aquarius is a very intellectual and innovative sign and we can take this opportunity to ask the moon to imbue us with more of these qualities so that we can serve the greater good of humanity.
On the other hand,
We can subside the powers of the mind under this new moon,
Releasing thought patterns,
Overthinking,
Or the mind's emotional detachment from the heart so that we can move forward in a space of balance with the mind and the heart to guide us to actualizing our individual gifts to make an innovative change in our world.
So with that,
Begin by settling into your comfortable meditation position.
Maybe you have your ritual items set up,
Your journal,
Some tea or water,
Candles,
And any crystals you'd like to bring forth.
Once you've arranged your space,
Find a comfortable seat or laying down on your back.
Wherever you're at,
If you're sitting,
Keep the spine nice and long and if you're laying down,
Make sure there's no gigantic gaps between your body and the ground.
Close down the eyes or soften the gaze and start to find your breath.
As you become aware of the breath,
Feel it clear the mind,
Clear the past day,
The past week,
Or the past month.
Notice your breath and begin to simply exhale longer than you inhale.
For every breath in that you take,
Make your exhale longer and more drawn out.
If you'd like to keep track by counting,
You can inhale for four and exhale for seven,
Allowing each breath to quiet the body to connect to the lunar essence of the new moon.
If you found that distracting thoughts are entering,
Gently bring yourself back to your breath.
Use all that mental focus to make your exhale longer than your inhale.
Release the breath and softly land to a space within.
Begin to welcome any thought patterns the mind is ready to release.
Mental spirals that have kept you emotionally detached or overthinking in a loop that has kept the mind superior to the heart,
When in fact they are equals.
Let the darkness of the new moon consume these thought patterns,
Allowing the heart to step forward instead of the mind.
What parts of your insight and intellect do you want to welcome in the next six months?
What change for the betterment of humanity do you wish to see?
How can you be more innovative in your daily life to serve your community or the greater good?
Connect these intentions to the breath.
Take a deep inhale through the nose.
Envision all the good you can do for the community.
Exhale anything in your mind that is holding you back.

Exhale the conditioned distrust we have in society.
Inhale in your power to make a change.
Exhale the limiting beliefs that keep you from accessing this power.
Gently come back to your regular breath,
Breathing all that you wish to welcome.
Breathing out all that you're ready to release.
In this space of openness,
Set an intention for the next six months around these aquarium themes.

See her emerge and radiate her soft white light onto the earth,
Onto the ground that you stand on.
As you stand on the ground beneath her light,
In your bare feet,
Feel this renewing light course through the soles of your feet.
This pearly energy moves through your heels,
Up your calf,
Across your shins.
Focus on your breath to move this clearing energy up your legs and the rest of your body,
Into your abdomen,
Your heart,
And eventually landing in your third eye center.
The moon's light beams from the center of your forehead,
Cleansing the mind from within,
Embodying the strength of the mind's insight with the heart's passion.
Ask the moon to show you where you are meant to be in the collective.
Ask her to strengthen your emotion to your intellect,
To guide you to your community.

Deepen your breath,
Breathing into each edge of your physical body,
