Hey there,
Gorgeous soul.
Now this body-based practice,
We're going to begin to imagine releasing these limiting beliefs,
Which in turn is going to help us feel lighter and emphasize the sensation of relief and freedom.
So in this exercise,
This will help you feel that sensation of freedom,
Releasing those limiting beliefs that no longer serve us and relief in the body as you let go of these beliefs.
So what I want you to do is find yourself a comfortable position,
Whether it's lying down or sitting.
Now myself,
I'm currently standing.
So if this is something you want to do while you're standing,
Give it a try,
Give it a practice,
Starting to tune into your body.
So find your comfortable position,
Start to take some centered breaths,
Tuning into your body,
Into your present state of being and wherever you're at right now.
Close your eyes and begin to feel the feelings around you.
Taking a few deep breaths,
Allowing yourself to relax.
Now if in your somatic practice you choose to sway,
You choose to rock or you choose to sit still and anchor and ground into the surface below you,
Whatever feels most natural to you.
Taking a few deep centered breaths,
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
Begin to notice and feel your body calm.
Begin to notice and feel yourself being present in this practice.
We're going to begin by bringing awareness to each of our limiting beliefs.
So one by one,
Let's recall just one of those limiting beliefs that were coming up for you that you've identified.
Begin to notice where you feel it in your body.
This may seem familiar based off of our body mapping exercise.
So you should start to get comfortable with noticing where you feel this limiting belief show up,
Appear and announce itself in your body.
Perhaps it's a tightness in your chest,
A heaviness in the pit of your stomach or maybe even tension in those shoulders.
I want you to take your hands,
Your healing hands and gently place your hands over this area,
Acknowledging that belief's presence.
And as you breathe,
Breathing in and just acknowledging,
Remember,
There's no judgment.
There's no trying to understand in this moment.
Simply observe.
Simply observe.
I want you to take a deep breath in.
And as you breathe in,
Imagine a warm,
Soothing light.
Fill this area of your body.
And with each inhale,
Feel the light expanding and bringing a sense of peace,
Relief and release to this area.
Doing this two more times in this area.
Notice where it's showing up for you.
And as you begin to breathe in,
Breathe in this warm,
Soothing light in this area of your body.
Filling,
Expanding and bringing a sense of peace,
Relief and release to this area.
And one more time,
Acknowledging the limiting belief where it's showing up for you in your body,
How it feels.
Now,
This third time around,
It might feel a lot lighter.
It might feel as if it no longer exists.
It might still be there.
It might be pretty deep in you.
Taking this third and final time as there is power in the number of three.
With this inhale,
Imagine a warm,
Soothing light.
Fill this area of your body.
Inhaling,
Feeling this light expand,
Bringing peace,
Relief and release to this area.
Simply noticing however it feels.
And allowing yourself to continue to move on as it does not control you.
It does not rule you.
Simply moving on to the next stage.
As we begin with our exhales,
Make sure that you're breathing at your own pace.
Now,
With each exhale from here on out,
Imagine the belief dissolving as if it's being carried away by your breath.
And we're going to do this for three rounds again.
Taking that exhale,
Imagine the belief dissolving as it's being carried away by your breath.
And the last one.
On your exhale,
Imagine this belief dissolving as it's being carried away by your breath.
Feeling your body becoming lighter,
More open,
And allowing space for self-acceptance and inner peace.
Taking a few moments here.
We're going to wrap this up with an affirmation of freedom.
So silently to yourself,
Affirming to yourself,
I am free from this belief.
I am open to my true potential.
I am free from this belief.
I am open to my true potential.
And one last time.
I am free from this belief.
I am open to my true potential.
Allowing this affirmation to fill your body with that sense of calm and confidence.
Taking a few more breaths here.
Allowing this feeling of freedom to settle into your body.
Knowing that you can return to this practice whenever you feel weighted down by your own body.
Limiting beliefs.
And when you're ready,
You can come back to your surroundings.
Wiggle your fingers and toes.
Begin to move your body.
Begin to feel back in your presence.
Opening your eyes.
And taking a moment to thank yourself for showing up in this practice today.
