Arrive fully to thoughts.

Find a comfortable seated position.

Rest your hands on your knees or simply place them in your lap.

Sit up tall.

Close the eyes.

Begin by taking a couple of deep breaths in the nose and out the mouth.

And as you're doing that,

Soften the body.

Turn your attention now towards your mind.

Notice the endless flow of thoughts.

Observe your mind without judgment and without expectation.

If your mind is busy,

Just see what a busy mind looks like.

And if it's quiet,

Just notice what a quiet mind is like.

Start to see how you're not in control,

How thoughts just arise all on their own.

Also begin to see how thoughts leave all by themselves.

You don't need to push them away or shut them out,

But they naturally arise and cease.

Just start to see this process.

Normally in meditation,

We think thoughts are a problem or that we need to somehow stop the mind from thinking.

But see what it's like to just simply observe it as it is,

To just watch the endless flow of thoughts.

Rather than trying to control your thoughts,

Just simply leave them alone.

Think of your thoughts like trains arriving at a train station.

And rather than getting onto each train as it arrives,

Just simply watch the trains come and go.

As you're observing in this way,

Continue relaxing your body.

Let your thoughts go by letting them be.

This is the secret to meditation.

Now bring your attention back to the body,

And altogether,

Let's take one deep breath in the nose,

And out the mouth.

Slowly begin to move the body.

And when you're ready,

Open the eyes.

Let your thoughts go by letting them be.
