This is a beautiful, gentle, guided meditation. Enter this practice, with a few slow, deep conscious breaths, allowing the breath to bring in, a strong sense of relaxation and ease. Throughout this practice, learn the valuable skill of how to let go of low-vibration emotions, through observation, acceptance, and surrender. This practice will allow you to build Self compassion and love, healing any emotional strain or wounds you may be holding onto.

For this meditation practice,

I invite you to create a comfortable seat with your left hand facing down on your left knee and your right palm facing upwards towards the sky.

This particular placement of your hands is a sign of both groundedness and receptivity.

Come into the practice with a few slow,

Deep,

Conscious breaths.

Allow your breath to bring in some relaxation and ease and begin to take your awareness to the emotion that you feel that's causing discomfort.

Observe the emotion you're feeling and explore all the other sensations that come with it.

Throughout this exercise,

It's important just to be with the feelings and the sensations that you feel without focusing on the need to judge or escape or even change the emotion that you feel.

So with your awareness on this feeling or emotion,

Begin to explore what word best describes what you feel.

Once you have identified the emotion,

And even if it feels indescribable,

That's okay.

But once you've come to a clearer understanding of what it is you're experiencing,

Bring your attention to the place in your body where this feeling occurs.

See if it shows up as tightness or heaviness or tension or absence.

Recognize that anything you feel or see or experience is not good or bad.

It simply is.

With your attention on the place in your body where this feeling has manifested,

First take a few deep breaths.

See the energy in a visual way.

So notice the texture,

The weight,

The size,

The shape of the feeling that you're experiencing.

Begin recognizing that nothing is good or bad.

Simply be with whatever you experience as lightly and judgment-free as you can.

And love and acceptance to the feeling you feel.

With the image of your emotion and the word that you use to define it,

I invite you to repeat this phrase silently to yourself or out loud,

I surrender the feeling into the light of God.

If the phrase light of God does not feel authentic to you,

You are welcome to change the phrase to something more true to your beliefs.

So perhaps the light of the universe,

The light of Mother Earth,

Simply the light,

Whatever feels most comfortable to you.

Continue to repeat,

I surrender the feeling into the light of God over and over again and witness the visual representation of this emotion and this energy start to dissolve or evaporate or float away into the light of God.

Repeat the phrase until you feel like the emotional charge has been removed.

Repeat the phrase,

Feeling and being the emotion you identified is now being released and cleared from the place in your body that you feel it.

So for example,

Feeling and being angry is now being released and cleared from my heart.

Repeat the phrase that feels most appropriate to you.

When you feel complete with letting go,

The next step is to fill the gaps,

The gaps of all the space you created by letting go of this emotion.

So quietly to yourself or out loud,

Repeat the phrase,

I allow the light of God to flow in and through me,

Filling any and all spaces left by these commands.

This is a gold glowing light,

Filling all the spaces from the tips of your toes up through your legs,

Your hips and pelvis,

Your low back,

Up through your center,

Your heart,

Your limbs,

All the way to the crown of your head.

Place your hands on top of your heart.

Send love and gratitude to your body and all the emotions you feel.

And feel free to use this exercise throughout the day whenever you feel overwhelmed with emotion or experiencing discomfort.

The most important piece to remember is in order to let emotions go,

You must first feel them completely and accept them for what they are.

Carry this practice with you throughout the day and continue to clear any negativity that occurs and fill in the spaces with golden light so you can feel free and effortless throughout your day.
