This is a grounding meditation.
This is your opportunity to come back to your center,
Your center point of gravity.
So much going on in the world,
Distractions,
Many things to stimulate our minds.
Oftentimes we lose our focus,
We lose our center.
Perhaps we even forget for a moment who we are,
What we're about,
What our motivation is.
We get pulled in different directions by different people's opinions and ideas.
This is an opportunity to say,
F that.
Coming back home to me,
To my center,
Between me and the creator.
And then once you're in this space,
Calibrated,
Centered,
Grounded,
You can decide who to listen to,
Who to converse with,
Who to let into your sphere.
So with that,
Take a nice deep breath in,
Sigh it out through the mouth.
Another big deep breath in,
Sigh it out through the mouth.
Taking your fist,
If you were to throw a punch,
Lightly drumming on the chest,
Stimulating some activity here,
Some movement in the chest,
Signaling to you,
Your heart,
That you're ready to ground,
To become one with the earth,
Whether you're actually sitting on the earth,
On the couch,
Sitting at your desk.
It's an opportunity for you to convene with yourself,
Wherever you are.
Nice deep breath in,
Let everything go.
Sigh.
I'm gonna do what's called a perineum squeeze.
This is actually the muscle located at the base of our bodies,
The pelvis.
It's this little muscle that we can squeeze when we want to stop urinating midstream.
It's a muscle that sometimes atrophies and rarely gets worked,
Is responsible for a lot of our life force energy,
Our creativity,
Our power,
Staying focused and grounded.
So with your next deep inhale in,
Squeeze this muscle gently on the inhale,
Release this muscle,
Relax on the exhale out through the mouth.
Good,
Three more.
Name the connection with your heart with each deep inhale.
Letting go of any reservations here of your expression in life,
Of how you show up and engage.
We feel safe and grounded.
It's also the safety to be in harmony and alignment with ourselves for natural expression,
For no rejection by another human being or any fears.
And tamper with the integrity,
Of your focus and drive in life.
Another deep breath in,
Perineum squeeze,
And out.
We're going to move on to,
It's called the circular connected breath,
Where inhale is about two times longer than the exhale.
The inhale is in through the nose and out through the nose.
Simply surrender the exhale,
Letting it fall out of your lungs like gravity,
Deepening your connection to mother earth,
Wherever you are.
It's a nice big perineum squeeze in,
We'll begin.
Good,
Sort of nice long,
Deep breath in.
It's correcting the shallow breathing that sometimes happens when we're a little bit chaotic in our minds and our mental space,
Our anxieties,
Or even our depressions.
This breath has the ability to course correct years of trauma,
The physical,
Logical response of being so much in the mind and ungrounded situations that have occurred in life.
And similar to the way that good old Doc Brown in Back to the Future,
Was able to put garbage like banana peels and beer cans in to fuel the time machine and take the old garbage of whatever has happened in your life,
Of any traumas or anything that's led you to a point of distress or anxiety,
And put it in your own personal field in your body,
Your DeLorean to take you to the future timeline that you want to have.
Not judging,
Simply loving any awarenesses that come up around any tragedies or disappointments in life.
Simply allowing yourself to be safe.
And as you finish this breathing pattern,
Give yourself a nice big hug.
This isn't weird,
This doesn't matter if you're a guy or a gal.
Just grab both arms and hug yourself.
Hug yourself the divine way that the divine father,
The divine mother,
The most perfect hug,
Perhaps from your parents that you wish that you'd had or perhaps you did have.
Bring that back to yourself.
Receiving this beautiful love from the divine masculine and the divine feminine,
Making you unfathomable with.
Even when outside energies in the world try to tamper with your field,
You're able to come back to this moment,
To the center,
To remember this embrace that you are safe.
Even in uncertainty that you can continue on your journey,
Find your center,
Find your ground,
Safe to proceed forward in your life.
