Hello friends and happy full moon in Sagittarius.
So for this meditation,
I want you to find a comfortable seated position,
Whether that's cross-legged or sitting on your shins,
And make sure there are no distractions around you.
I highly encourage working with the plant sage for this meditation.
So if you have a sage essential oil or a sage cleansing bundle that you can light and cleanse the space around you,
That will really call in the energy of Sagittarius and its ruler Jupiter,
As well as help you connect with your highest self,
Which is what this meditation is about.
So if you want to pause and grab some sage and then come back and find that comfortable seated position,
Feeling your sitz bones pressing into the earth,
Into whatever is supporting you,
And slowly bring awareness to your breath as you close your eyes.
Let go of your day or if you're doing this in the morning,
Let go of whatever it is that you have to do today and slowly bring awareness to your sacral chakra.
This is the energy center found two fingers below your navel and it houses the energy of Jupiter.
It is where we create our reality from,
Where we connect with our emotions and our spirituality.
And as you focus on this area,
Slowly and mindfully just invite in some soft hips swaying back and forth,
Or some Sufi rolls,
So rolling the belly forward and then sinking it back.
Just intuitively moving your hips in whatever way feels natural to you.
Sagittarius rules the hips and the thighs,
And so it's really important to invite some movement and energy into this space.
And slowly settle back into your seated position with your spine straight,
Chin slightly tucked in,
Shoulders down your spine.
Start to take notice of a golden light dancing around in your sacral chakra just below your navel.
And as you focus on the glowing light,
Inhale into this space and feel it grow bigger.
And your exhale side out.
Two more times,
Inhaling deeply into the sacral chakra.
Feel the light grow bigger and exhale through the mouth.
Last time.
Now notice a golden thread of energy flowing down the front of your body from the sacral chakra.
Towards the perineum or root chakra.
As this thread flows down,
It circles around the genitals and exits up the buttocks,
Flowing up your spine and circling all the way up the back of your body.
And then feeling all the way up the back of your neck,
Head,
The top of your head,
And pausing in the front in between your eyebrows at your third eye.
Now trace this golden thread down the center of your body as it flows down your nose,
Your lips,
Chin,
Neck,
Chest,
Belly,
And pauses again at your sacral chakra.
These two energy lines are the central meridians that channel life force energy in Qigong.
This microcosmic orbit reminds us that we have the universe within us.
It helps connect us with our highest self,
Our most divine self.
The part of us that is separate from our personality and from our ego and the part that holds the memory of all of our past lives and our soul's intention in this life.
It is the guiding light.
So focusing on this orbit within your body,
Again coming back to the sacral,
We're going to inhale and count to eight,
Tracing this line from the sacral down and then up the back pausing at the third eye,
Counting and exhaling to eight between the third eye and the sacral chakra on the front of the body.
So starting one,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six,
Climbing up the back,
Seven,
Over the head,
Eight,
Pausing at the third eye,
Eight,
Pausing at the third eye,
Exhaling,
Slowly trickling down,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six,
Seven,
Eight,
Pausing at the sacral chakra.
Again,
Moving on your own rhythm,
You'll likely have to really decrease the speed of the exhale in order to match the inhale and exhale to eight.
Moving on your own breath.
Inhaling slowly through the nose and counting to eight,
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six,
Seven,
Eight.
Exhaling from the third eye,
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six,
Seven,
Eight,
Pausing at the sacral.
Inhaling,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Tracing up the spine,
Five,
Six,
Seven,
Eight,
Pausing at the third eye,
Exhaling,
Two,
Three,
Trickling down the front,
Five,
Six,
Seven,
Eight,
Landing in the sacral.
Again,
On your own rhythm,
Visualizing this microcosmic orbit of golden light,
Of life force energy flowing through your body,
Up the back and down the front,
Reminding you that you're part of the universe and that the universe lives within you.
One last time,
Inhaling sacral root up the spine,
Four,
Five,
Six,
Seven,
Landing on the third eye,
Exhaling,
Trickling down the front,
Down the chest,
Belly,
And landing on the sacral.
The Sagittarius full moon illuminates the ways through which our freedom has been constricted.
As you focus on this orbit within you,
Picture the moon shining bright and full above you.
As she glows bright,
She showers you with her light,
Her shimmering beautiful bright light.
And as you focus on the moon,
This orbit circling within you slowly starts to extend past your third eye,
Touching the moon,
Marrying with her energy,
Flowing back down the front of your body to your sacral chakra.
With every inhale,
Your light is flowing up and marrying the moon's golden shimmer,
Which comes down and showers you,
Flowing down the front of your body,
Becoming one with your microfalsic orbit.
As the moon lends you her shimmering energy,
It connects you to your divine self,
To your cosmic universal wisdom that is contained within your highest self.
And as she casts her glow on you,
You find yourself in a lush green forest,
Standing naked in a turquoise lagoon,
The smell of wild sage and tiny purple flowers surround you.
The water is perfectly refreshing on a warm and humid summer night,
And you hear water splashing gently behind you.
As you stand here showered in the moonlight,
You slowly turn around as your eyes adjust to the warm glow of the moonlight,
And you see an opening in the smooth and pale rocks towering above you.
Through them,
Water rushes and falls into the lagoon in which you are standing.
Every now and then,
A splash of water touches your skin as you slowly walk towards the waterfall.
Bathed in this beautiful,
Free moonlight,
You feel uninhibited and liberated in this moment.
The smell of sage cleanses you and connects you to your divine self,
The self that holds all of the answers which you seek.
As you stand here in this shimmering,
Liberating waterfall,
Under the moonlight,
You reflect on what freedom means in your life,
What experiences make you feel liberated in the way that you feel now,
What relationships nurture that freedom within you,
What allows you to move towards the calling of your highest self.
Are there ways through which this freedom has been suppressed in your life?
Is this suppression internal or external?
Has your movement been suppressed in your life?
Has your movement to experience life and shape your own belief systems been limited somehow?
This illumination brings forward an opportunity to illuminate the things that stand in your way,
That stand in the way of this freedom.
And with it,
It brings a chance to reclaim this freedom.
So as you make your way under the waterfall,
You step under the water and feel the rush of power fall upon your head and your skin.
And this power rushes into your body,
Filling you with courage and giving you the tools to take your power back.
As this water caresses your skin,
It instills in you the courage to wage a war against anything that cages you in.
To reclaim your truest,
Wildest self and follow the path to your highest self.
Remember this feeling of liberation as you stand in this shimmering waterfall.
And as the water touches your skin,
Gently but powerfully,
Reminding you of the power you have to reclaim your freedom.
Slowly you bring awareness back to the present moment by returning to your normal breathing,
Noticing any sounds or smells around you in the room that you're in,
Wiggling fingers and toes.
And when you are ready,
Slowly blinking the eyes open.
Make sure to take some time to journal anything that may have been eliminated for you during this meditation.
And don't forget to move your hips and thighs,
Your Sagittarius rules,
And get energy flowing through your sacral chakra,
Whether that is through yoga or dancing or whatever feels intuitively right for you in this moment.
Continue working with the plant sage either through smoke,
Essential oils,
Or the Sagittarius lunar tea.
And remember to have fun and spend time in nature.
And happy full moon.
