Hello and welcome to this new moon and cancer cord cutting meditation. This meditation can be used anytime you are feeling you need to release old stagnant energy in the form of beliefs, Bonds, Attachments to other people, Wounding, Anything like that. So at the same time it's really well suited to this particular moon because there's an opportunity for us to really take our power back and really step into that dark divine feminine energy to reclaim our power. I highly recommend brewing some chamomile tea for this meditation or bringing the plant chamomile into your meditation in some way to really connect with this nurturing comforting energy that chamomile brings. So if you want to pause right now and grab some tea or essential oil please feel free to do so and then come back and find a comfortable seated position where you will not be distracted for the next 20 minutes or so. Gently close your eyes turning your attention within. Feel your sits bones press into the earth and feel supported by her and as you sit here slowly start to visualize roots beginning to sprout from your buttocks your root chakra. Picture a white or maybe iridescent or perhaps red energy taking shape in the form of these roots whatever color resonates with you and as these roots branch out and grow thinner they pierce through the floor the soil layers of rock and groundwater and inch closer and closer to the earth's core and if they attach to the earth's core the earth sends her energy up through your roots in the form of this bright beautiful cleansing energy and absorbs to your roots and into your body cleansing and purifying any heavy energy or emotions that you might be carrying with you. If you can allow the emotions to be and then release them slowly one by one with every exhale releasing anything negative anything that feels heavy or burdensome down to the earth and then the earth cleanses this energy and sends it back up into your body nourishing every cell with every inhale you inhale up this pure cleansing energy and with every exhale you release and shed what feels too heavy. Feel this energy now climbing up your spine and going up through the chakras reaching your third eye in between your eyebrows the third eye chakra is the center where the solar and lunar energies unite create divine unity the center reminds us of our oneness with the universe and as we draw this energy up into the third eye with every inhale pulling it up the third eye glows with this bright pure energy with every exhale sending down whatever you don't need and on your next inhale retain this pure cleansing energy at your third eye and retain your breath with it five four three two and one releasing your breath and releasing all the heaviness down to the earth. Now in your mind's eye turn your attention to the Sun and Moon above their energy blends together and pours down to earth through a silvery and gold thread that spiraled together hanging down and attaching to your third eye pouring in with wisdom love and guidance for your highest self and connecting you to your intuition opening a portal from the subconscious to the conscious mind to allow you to see any shadow patterns behaviors old beliefs and attachments that no longer serve you the Sun and the Moon and Cancer want to show you what old energy attachment belief or pattern is holding you back from expanding and reclaiming your power your individuality and uniqueness now picture yourself now picture yourself standing in summer meadow of wildflowers of all colors of the rainbow some as tall as you and through them the bright warm midsummer Sun filters and dances towards you caressing your skin a soft breeze brushes through your hair butterflies and bees are flying and buzzing around you landing from flower to flower from pink to purple to yellow to red you notice a little yellow Sun like flower and with its apple like sweet scent you recognize it as chamomile in the distance through the filtered wildflowers you hear a creak gently flowing and as you peer through the wildflowers you see the sunlight reflecting and dancing on the surface of the water with a beautiful moon like rock bottom you feel nurtured and supported and you take off your shoes and walk slowly towards the stream stepping barefoot on the cold wet rock that looks like the moon slowly dipping your toes into the fresh cold water feeling refreshed and invigorated you gaze down at the rocks of all different shapes and sizes and textures as they glisten in the Sun through the water so you slowly start walking upstream examining the different rocks and realizing that it's moonstone a crystal associated with our third eye and our intuition the sign of cancer and as you stroll upstream meandering through the wildflowers you notice a pair of shiny silver scissors at the bottom of the riverbed as you bend down and pick them up putting them in your pocket and as you look up you notice a figure appearing far in front of you the outline of a person so you start walking towards them feeling a familiar but old energy something you've known for a long time it feels comfortable but perhaps you've outgrown it you feel this energy pulling you forward and as this person walks towards you their face starts to take shape it's a figure that you recognize and this person is here because they represent a belief, A pattern, Perhaps a relationship or wounding they may have inflicted that is part of your past but cannot be part of your future if you wish to expand and grow into the person you're meant to be so in this new moon and cancer this person or you might find that you're seeing different people and different beliefs showing up try to focus on one at a time with this next exercise as this person stands in front of you you feel the bonds of energy running from your body to theirs perhaps it is gray smoky energy it's old and it's heavy steeped in the same patterns or old beliefs that you may have picked up from them that no longer serve you they keep you comfortable but they also keep you small and so as you see this energy forming like strings between your navel and theirs attaching together you look up at them and look them in the eyes and say thank you I love you and I'm sorry and then you grab the silver scissors from your back pocket and cut cut away all of the cords that join you to them because you need to release the past in order to make space for new fresh energy new patterns new beliefs new ways of securely expanding but not being afraid of growth or change and perhaps you choose to do this with another person or something else they represent so as this first person slowly turns and walks away you are both free and lighter and now have room to fill this space with new fresher bonds and ones that are more aligned in some way to your higher self the person that you're becoming again this is a practice you can come back to any time and pause here and do it with more and more people if you need to and as you stand here feeling light and refreshed watching them fade into the distance upstream you feel the sunshine dancing on your skin reflecting off the water and tiny little sun-like flowers dance around you in the breeze filling the air with the scent of chamomile and nurturing your body through every single cell every time you take a deep breath in I hope this leaves a space where you can create a safe and secure foundation free of old beliefs or patterns and attachments that are keeping you small and from there that you can grow into the most expansive abundant and wise version of yourself slowly start to bring yourself back to your current space returning to normal breathing wiggling your fingers
