We are pleased to offer this meditation installment honoring Virgo and the corresponding Tarot card of the Hermit. As the sun dances into the sign of Virgo, the light of day plays with the shadows of the late summer season. You may be noticing the buzzing energy beginning to wane into a season of collecting, reflecting, and receiving the bounty and gifts summer may have brought. In cadence with the rhythms of nature.

Hello,

Radiant beings.

It's our honor to transmit this meditative offering to all who are listening from across the globe in your own timelines of the space-time continuum.

The voice you're hearing is of Melissa Gonzalez of Ritual Revival,

With music provided by Kelly Frances Herrado.

At this time,

We're venturing upon the magical journey inspired by the elemental earth sign of Virgo,

Represented by the maiden who is often depicted embracing a heath of wheat or corn,

Symbolic of the bounty of harvest.

Virgo is ruled by the planet Mercury.

The tarot card associated with the Virgo is Key 9,

The Hermit.

Virgo can also be associated with the Magician,

The 8,

9,

And 10 of Pentacles,

And the King of Pentacles.

Virgo is gifted with the ability to organize,

Notices the fine details,

And has discernment.

Can simplify with efficiency,

All with beauty in hearing and mind.

Combined with the qualities of the Hermit,

Symbolic of a wise seeker and guide,

Fearlessly wandering without attachment,

And who is curious like the fool,

Understanding the interconnections and intersections of all within the micro and macrocosm.

Their solitude is an inner discovery,

Within remote places,

Guided by a beacon of luminous light.

Hidden answers may be revealed if introspection is nurtured,

Aligned with the willingness to view the reflection of one's truth from within the depths of hidden shadows and with guidance of a curious worldly perspective.

If accessible to you,

You're invited to bring slow movements into this meditative practice by either sitting up or lying down.

Please gather what you will to equip yourself for your personal journey,

Perhaps an eye pillow or your favorite headphones.

Let's begin by being in the place you have chosen to meditate.

At this moment,

Observe the space in which you inhabit.

Acknowledge your environment.

Breathe here now.

This is an opportunity for you to sink into a personal moment of time,

Your sacred pause,

Your time to connect with your whole being and breath.

You are invited to soften your gaze or close your eyes as I guide us,

All mine the time.

When the guided meditation is complete,

You'll hear the sound of a bell.

Now observe your body making contact on the surface of where you are seated or where you rest.

The earth supports you as it supports all.

As you breathe,

Allow earth's gravity to carry you breath by breath and scan your body.

As your breath enters your lungs,

Gently allow your breath to flow through,

Relaxing all parts of your body.

At this moment,

If you like,

As you settle into your breath,

Allow the gravity of earth to support you.

If accessible to you,

Gently shake your hands as you slowly inhale deep into your abdomen,

Filling up air into your lungs and gently guide your breath out of your body with a ha or a sigh,

Releasing the breath from your mouth.

Now slowly place your hands on your side or where is most inviting to you.

As you breathe,

Notice how your hands feel.

Is there a different sensation than moments earlier?

Just notice.

As you breathe in and out,

Gently rub your hands together,

All the while breathing at your own pace.

Invite in the opportunity to breathe slow and move slow.

After a few breaths,

Stop with the palms of your hands touching.

Notice the sensations that arise from the movement of your hands.

All the while,

Breathe and simply notice.

If you'd like to rub your hands again now as you breathe,

Please do so.

And after a few breaths,

Pause.

Maybe you'd like to place your hands on a place on your body that you'd like to offer healing attention.

As you slowly breathe in and out,

Observe the movement of your breath.

Here before your breath goes,

Nothing to fix,

Just notice.

You are breathing.

You are here now.

You are in a place that is your sanctuary.

As you breathe,

Maybe you'd like to invite in a stillness,

Stillness of the mind.

From the stillness is birth,

A liberation.

From solitude,

From this breath,

You bring forth all you choose to do,

Be,

Speak,

And aspire.

From this breath,

You give yourself life.

Your out breath brings life to the trees and plants around you.

You are life.

They are life.

Together,

Here we are in breath.

At this time,

Maybe you'd like to invite a word,

Phrase,

Shape,

Or color that inspires you,

That brings you peace.

May its brilliance be with you.

Maybe you'd like to carry this inspiration into your day.

Inhale,

Receive,

And on the exhale,

Release,

Offering your breath to provide nourishment for the trees and plants.

In the next few breaths,

I will pause my voice for you to be with your breath.

When you're ready,

Slowly,

Ever so slowly,

Invite in a gentle movement into your fingers,

Wrists,

Toes,

And ankles.

Perhaps you'd like to gently palm your eyelids with a soft massage,

Or massage the crown of your head.

When you open your eyes,

Maybe you'd like to gently flutter your eyelids,

Or slowly move your head from side to side and stretch as if rising for the day.

As you stretch,

Try to move ever so slowly,

And observe the movement and its step with interconnectedness within your body.

I invite you to curl into a fetal position before rising.

For a lunar yin introspective,

Receptive,

Creative flow,

Rise to your left side of your body.

For a solar yang extrovert expressive active flow,

Rise to your right side of your body.

Gently rise and unfurl as you step into the next phase of this day.

Before you move on to the rest of your day,

Maybe you'd like to journal what showed up for you from this restful pause.

The place you create in your vision is your sanctuary.

We thank you for providing this time within your schedule,

Honoring your inner temple.

You are worth it,

And you are magical.

Please join us for next month's guided meditation through the element of air,

Representing the sign of Libra,

And with the tarot card of Justice.

With love,

From Astral Well.
