I'm going to start by placing our hands over our heart,
Closing our eyes.
As we breathe into this present moment,
This coming together here tonight,
I'm going to call upon the beautiful goddess.
Thank you for this day.
Please guide and protect us as we honour your way.
Your light of protection,
We carry it strong.
No ill wishes or troubles can come along.
Nothing can harm us or weaken our soul because light is our weapon and peace is our goal.
May the universe surround us with its beautiful light and love to protect and shield us from above.
Surrounding us with that shield so bright,
Keeping us safe both day and night.
I invite you to breathe in that beautiful light.
Feeling that light surrounding you.
It's the energy all around.
It's the energy that connects us,
That supports us.
Just breathing it in,
Feeling it like a warm blanket wrapping around you.
Perhaps you may even breathe it in through your crown chakra at the top of your head.
Feeling it coming inside.
And you may also,
If you're called to,
Visualising long healthy roots growing from your base chakra down into mother earth.
So as you breathe in that white light,
That's protection.
We can breathe out and grow those long healthy roots for grounding.
One more nice deep breath in and out.
And when you're ready,
I invite you to hold your mug in cupped hands so that you feel the warmth around your fingers.
Feeling that warmth growing up your hands,
Up your arms.
As we pay gratitude to this beautiful and sacred plant medicine,
Thank you Mama Cacao for this divine gift that we are about to receive.
We respectfully acknowledge the traditional owners,
Custodians,
Farmers and families of the sacred lands from which you came and the lands on which we all now stand.
For me,
I thank the Yugamba people for this place which I call home.
And we pay respect to all the elders,
Past,
Present and emerging.
With this cup of cacao,
We take this moment to gather together for love,
For wisdom and for healing.
As we open and connect to the wisdom of our own hearts.
Feeling the warmth of your cacao between your hands,
This sacred heart medicine,
That warmth bringing you into this presence.
And tonight,
Together,
We enter the Temple of Truth.
A place within you that remembers who you are beyond the noise,
Beyond the stories,
Beyond the expectations.
And through the wisdom of the Four Agreements,
We'll journey sip by sip into freedom,
Rewriting the inner contracts that kept us small.
Each sip will become a vow,
A remembering and a seed of transformation.
With your eyes closed,
Let's prepare to journey together with Mama Cacao as our guide.
Would you take a moment to imagine that you are standing in front of a giant golden temple.
It's ancient and yet alive.
Its walls hum with quiet and powerful energy.
The air carries a scent of incense and wildflowers.
And as you step towards the great carved doors,
With your cacao cradled in your hands,
Just like an offering.
And the doors open.
A warm light spills out,
Inviting you to cross the threshold.
And as you do,
You see four sacred chambers within that await you.
Each one holds an agreement between your soul and truth itself.
And as you step forward into the first chamber,
This is the Hall of Words.
Soft ripples of sound echo through the air like whispers of every word you've ever spoken.
The walls shimmer,
Reflecting words of love,
Fear,
Hope,
And doubt.
It is here that you remember the first agreement,
To be impeccable with your words.
This means to use your words with integrity,
To speak with integrity.
With love instead of judgment,
Truth instead of gossip.
To be impeccable is to understand that words are spells.
What you speak,
You create.
And this includes how you speak to yourself.
In the centre of this hall is a fountain glowing with iridescent light.
As you approach,
Feeling the pull of honesty and clarity,
The fountain invites you to whisper softly into your cacao,
A truth,
A kind word,
Or a blessing that you wish to live by.
Visualise that word flowing through you,
Through your cacao,
And through into the fountain in front of you.
As you take your first sip,
Feel its warmth move down to your throat.
As you breathe into that space,
Imagine golden light swirling with your breath.
Say to yourself,
My words are spells of kindness,
Truth,
And creation.
Taking another sip of your cacao,
My words are spells of kindness,
Truth,
And creation.
Just breathing into your heart as you take in the energy inside this hall of words.
And as we walk onwards into the second chamber,
Into the hall of mirrors,
Here the light is cool and silver,
Reflecting countless versions of yourself.
Versions of you smiling,
Versions of you wounded,
Versions of you radiant,
And versions of you uncertain.
This chamber teaches us the second agreement.
Don't take anything personally.
When others judge,
Blame,
Or praise,
They speak from the lens of their own reality.
Their dream,
Their pain,
Their perceptions,
And what they project onto you is never truly about you.
And freedom comes to us when we stop carrying the projections of others,
Because that is not our truth.
Just visualize yourself looking into one of the mirrors,
And seeing yourself whole,
Seeing yourself steady,
Seeing yourself surrounded by a luminous aura of gold.
And as you take another sip of your cacao,
Every word,
Every opinion that once stung,
Now slides away like raindrops off glass.
Nothing can dim the light of your essence.
Let this sip flow down into your heart,
Washing away any energy that doesn't belong to you.
Feel yourself reclaiming your inner peace,
Feel yourself grounded,
Untouchable,
Free.
As you say to yourself,
I release the weight of others' stories.
I stand in my own truth.
Taking another sip of your cacao,
I release the weight of others' stories.
I stand in my own truth.
Just breathing in that energy,
Surrounded in this hall of mirrors,
By all the versions of who you truly are.
As we step forward into the third chamber,
It opens into a swirl of soft mist.
This is the hall of clarity.
The air feels mysterious.
It's filled with a gentle fog,
And somewhere around you is a flickering candlelight.
This fog represents the confusion that arises when we assume instead of asking.
When we imagine instead of expressing.
This third chamber reminds us,
Don't make assumptions.
Most of our suffering begins in misunderstanding,
In filling in the blanks with fear or false stories.
Instead,
We can choose curiosity,
We can ask,
We can clarify and communicate with courage and compassion.
And as you take another sip of your cacao,
The mist begins to clear.
And as the mist clears,
You see the candle glowing steadily on an altar.
It represents truth revealed through communication.
And as you approach it,
Take a deep breath as you feel the space for truth,
Understanding and honest dialogue.
Breathing in openness and breathing out assumptions.
As you say to yourself,
I meet life with curiosity,
Compassion and open communication.
Taking another sip of your cacao,
I meet life with curiosity,
Compassion and open communication.
Breathing in the energy all around this hall of clarity.
The mist is all gone.
And as we step into the fourth and final chamber,
We've arrived at the Hall of Grace.
This space is alive with sunlight streaming in through crystal windows.
There's vines blooming along the walls.
You can hear birdsong echoing softly.
This chamber feels warm,
Forgiving,
Beautifully human.
This fourth agreement inside this fourth chamber reminds us to always do your best.
And that your best will change from day to day.
Some days radiant and full and other days tender and small.
But when you offer your best with sincerity,
There's no room for regret or judgment.
You are and have always been more than enough.
As you walk to the center of this beautiful garden-like room,
You see a circle of wildflowers,
Each one representing a moment that you tried,
A moment that you loved,
A moment that you showed up.
As you take another sip of your cacao,
You realize that effort,
Not perfection,
Has always been your sacred gift.
And as the cacao fills you with warmth,
Say to yourself,
My best is enough.
I honor my effort,
Not my perfection.
Taking another sip of cacao.
My best is enough.
I honor my effort,
Not my perfection.
Just continue to breathe into your heart as we prepare to leave this temple.
Take a look back over at each of those chambers.
All four of them are glowing in harmony.
Their light weaves together into one radiant pulse,
The truth of who you are.
You nod gently,
Knowing that this place lives within you now,
A temple that you can return to whenever you need to realign with your truth.
Placing a hand over your heart,
I want you to whisper softly to yourself,
I walk in truth.
I speak in love.
I live with integrity.
I am free to reclaim who I am.
And so it is.
I walk in truth.
I speak in love.
I live with integrity.
I am free to reclaim who I am.
And so it is.
