Let's all take a moment to find stillness and to let go of your problems leaving them at the door.
As you shut your eyes or find a soft gaze,
Imagine you are locking all of your thoughts on the other side of your consciousness,
The other side of your eyelids.
Let's take one slow inhale through your nose,
Allowing their belly to fill up with air.
Exhaling,
Allowing your belly button to meet your spine.
Let's take one more breath,
Very slowly,
Filling yourself up as much as you can.
Fill the belly,
Adding a little more at the top and release,
Finding a place of peace,
Allowing the breath to go back to its normal state for a moment.
I find difficulty in doing these deep inhales,
Creating that extra space at the top,
But that moment,
The moment of resistance,
The moment of acceptance is the moment of growth.
It helps you strengthen your lungs and your body.
Let's do that breath one more time,
The slowest,
The fullest in your belly.
Clear everything out,
We'll inhale together.
Allow yourself to push a little past your last inhale.
You can do it,
Hold it.
Remember this is temporary and release.
Let your breath find its natural flow.
Don't force,
Don't control it.
Just allow your inhales to fill you up and your exhales to provide you a little more relaxation and peace.
Be here in this room,
In this moment.
Feel the floor beneath you as you breathe in and as you guide your breath out.
Allow your thoughts to drift away.
You can acknowledge them,
But turn your focus back to the breath,
The rise and fall of the belly and chest.
In your mind's eye,
You can say,
I am aware of my inhale as the belly rises and I am aware of my exhale as the belly falls.
Allow that mantra to guide you as long as you need to until you find the moment where the breath is coming with ease and you aren't controlling anything,
Bringing you back to the present moment,
This time you've carved out to connect to yourself and the universe.
This is all about you and your breath and your patience and your persistence.
The best part is all you have to do is breathe.
I am aware of my inhale.
I am aware of my exhale.
The healing breaths are intentional and focused,
Authentic and pure.
As you take this next inhale,
I want you to relax your body a little bit more.
I want you to exhale and find your deepest place of peace,
Stillness,
Allowing yourself to breathe,
Allowing yourself to release and let go,
Breathing and being the rise of the belly and the release as the belly button meets the spine,
Slowing it all down,
Tingle of stillness in your body,
Noticing if anything is coming up,
Noticing if you are at ease and to breathe.
We're going to start awakening back to the room and I want to encourage you to move slowly.
You can start by wiggling your fingers and your toes,
Your wrists and ankles,
Gently rocking your head side to side,
Planting the soles of your feet onto the earth.
I want you to take a big inhale like we do at the beginning of the day,
Reaching your arms over your head like it's your first stretch of the morning,
Awakening your body.
On the exhale,
Letting it all go,
Enjoying this feeling,
Enjoying this peace.
And if you're ready,
You can slowly open your eyes.
Thank you for showing up for yourself today and creating a space for stillness and connection to yourself.
Enjoy the rest of your time today.
