If you're a helper, healer, have a high-stress job, or just had a particularly tough day, this meditation will help you unwind and have a great rest of your day. This track will help you leave work at work, relieve stress, and energetically enter into the remainder of your day calm, ready to relax and be present.

Welcome to the end of your workday,

Ambitious human being.

Whether you've had a great day or a stressful day,

I want to invite you to take a couple nice big deep breaths right here.

Take a moment to relax your shoulders,

Relax your entire body,

And I want to remind you of one really important thing.

You've done enough.

There is no need to do one more thing.

Because you are already enough,

And you've already done enough.

That one more thing that you are tempted to do proves nothing about how worthy or valuable you are because you already are whole and complete.

And as much as you think that one more task is going to relieve you tomorrow,

I want you to really consider,

Is that true?

Is that one more task worth spending time away from my family,

Or time relaxing,

Taking a bath,

Reading a book that you want to read?

You've done enough.

Say it with me a couple of times here.

I've done enough.

I've done enough.

I've done enough.

Now it is time to rest and unwind.

What a great feeling.

So feel free to grab a cup of tea,

A blanket,

Or if you prefer,

You can put me in your earbuds and take us for a walk.

This is your wind down ritual,

And you get to make it what you want.

And as we begin to settle in here together,

Start to connect with your body and notice how your body feels.

As we work throughout our day,

Tension can build up in places we don't even realize.

So from the very top of your head,

Start to scan down,

Taking your time here to notice any tension.

A special attention to those common places we tend to hold a lot of tension,

Like your jaw,

Your neck,

Shoulders,

And hips.

And as you come across any tension,

Stop in those places and take a couple nice big deep breaths there.

As you breathe in,

Imagine tapping into that tension.

And as you breathe out,

Imagine that tension disintegrating like a vapor into thin air.

Continue scanning down your body,

Breathing in to any tension,

And as you breathe out,

Releasing that tension as if it's going to disintegrate into thin air.

Notice how these breaths are already starting to support you in relaxing and letting go of your workday.

Breathing is one of the most powerful ways that we can tap into the parasympathetic nervous system,

That rest and digest.

Now bring your awareness to your mind.

We think so much throughout our days.

Our minds are always turned on,

Thinking,

Contemplating,

Problem solving,

And it's rare that we actually turn our minds off and let our minds relax.

So imagine here that there is a little work light switch in your mind.

It's time to switch off.

So you can take a moment and search around here for that switch,

And once you find that switch in your mind,

Take an inhale,

And as you exhale,

Turn the switch off.

And know that you are in control.

Of this switch,

And you can switch it back on at any time.

But for now,

We're going to leave it off because remember,

You've done enough.

And everything can wait.

You truly deserve this time.

You deserve this time away from your business.

Connected to yourself,

Connected to your soul.

And as a matter of fact,

If you want to be the most efficient,

Compassionate,

And successful entrepreneur you can be,

Which I know you do,

This time away from your business is vital.

We need this time to replenish our mental and emotional energy.

As well as our physical energy.

Running a business can be hard.

It can be challenging.

And this time away can re-energize us and re-inspire us in our businesses.

Now that you've switched off your hard-working mind,

It's time to really switch on your parasympathetic nervous system.

So you can relax and be present for the rest of your day.

Take a moment to travel down to your heart space.

And just like we did in our mind,

Take a moment to search around for that light switch in your heart.

And once you find it,

Take a nice big deep breath in.

And as you exhale,

Turn that switch on.

And as you do,

Notice a warm,

Soft glow start to form in your heart space.

You have awakened your heart center.

And in turn,

You have awakened relaxation,

Compassion,

And love to go about the rest of your day.

Notice how relaxed your mind and body feel.

Thank yourself for giving yourself this gift to unwind today.

I hope you have a great rest of your day.

And I encourage you to come back to this meditation as often as you need.

One more deep breath in.

And a deep exhale out.
