Hello,
Beautiful human.
Welcome to this five minute meditation on trust.
That is a big word,
Isn't it?
As our wonderful friend,
Brene Brown reminds us about trust,
That trust is a product of vulnerability that grows over time and requires work,
Attention,
And full engagement.
Trusting yourself is hard work and it does take courage.
You know what?
You deserve the love and attention required to build that trust.
In this meditation today,
We will be using the mantra,
I trust you.
So I invite you to find a nice comfortable seat for this meditation,
Either standing,
Sitting,
Or lying down,
Whatever you choose.
Once you make your way into that comfortable position,
Starting to relax your body using the breath.
Inhaling softly through the nose and relaxing the body completely on the exhale.
Letting each breath relax you even more,
Bringing you into the present moment,
Into the body.
I'm starting by thinking about what trust feels like in the body.
What does it feel like when you trust yourself?
What sensations start to arise when you think,
I trust myself?
Do you feel safe?
Do you feel confident?
Maybe you feel relaxed or content.
Whatever sensations come up when you think,
I trust myself,
Start to feel that in the body now,
Take on those sensations of trust.
Now imagining wherever you're at that there is another you right in front of you.
Looking lovingly at yourself in your eyes.
Seeing yourself fully for who you are and saying out loud,
I trust you.
I trust you.
I trust you.
I trust you.
I trust who you are.
I trust what you stand for.
I trust your feelings,
Your beliefs,
Your potential,
Your beauty,
Your dreams,
Your choices.
I trust you.
Your potential,
Your beauty,
Your dreams,
Your choices.
Seeing even deeper into your own eyes now,
I trust you.
And imagining those words seeping into every cell,
On as if they are a second skin.
I trust you.
And take a big breath in through the nose,
Allowing this mantra to wash over your entire body.
Knowing that whenever you need to establish or reestablish trust within yourself,
You can come back to this meditation and come back to yourself.
Thank you so much for meditating with me today.
Namaste.
