Hello and welcome to this meditation.

I invite you to find a comfortable seat and sit up nice and tall into your spine and we'll get started.

And just begin to notice where you're at right now.

Where you're at as far as how you're feeling physically.

Noticing if there's anything glaring in your body that's calling out for your attention.

Any sore spots or anywhere that you feel like you're holding or tightening.

Just try to breathe some space into those areas that come up.

Try to let go of any unnecessary tension in your abdomen,

In your fingertips,

And into the eye sockets.

Softening the skin,

Surrounding the brow,

The nose.

And the lips.

Allowing the jaw to even part away just slightly from the roof of your mouth.

Relaxing the tongue down to the base.

Just noticing the sensation of your breath as it washes in and sweeps throughout the body.

Feel how it rinses through and cycles back out.

And the cycle repeats.

Jiang you you you you you you if you found that your mind has wandered away from your breath or away from your body's rhythm.

Just gently invite it to come back into that space,

The rhythm of the breath,

The rhythm of the heart.

Feeling into any and all sensations or vibrations that find their way into the body.

You you you Now I invite you to come back into your body.

Come back to your breath.

If your mind has wandered,

Come back into the vision of sitting at the base of this grand oak tree.

Imagine connecting with its root system.

Together your own system of roots could stretch down from the base of your spine,

Entangling and slowly,

Consistently,

Powerfully,

Penetrating through the earth,

Reaching down towards the very heart of this planet,

Down to the core.

Just allow this vision to ground you here in this moment.

You Now from this place of relaxing at the base of this grand oak tree,

I invite you to imagine that out in front of you is a great,

Beautiful,

Lush garden and this is your garden.

You planted the seeds,

You tended to the soil,

You added all the fertilizer it needed,

All the manure,

You give it everything it needs.

It's in the right spot,

It's getting enough Sun,

It has everything it needs in order to be absolutely beautiful and abundant.

So we could liken this to the mind.

You could imagine that this beautiful garden is your subconscious mind and you,

The gardener,

Is the conscious mind.

So in order to keep your garden,

In order to keep your mind growing beautifully and producing all the things we want it to produce,

You need to plant seeds of really good feeling thoughts and positivity and gratefulness and love for the people around you and most especially love for yourself.

And that's not to say that this garden doesn't have a few weeds now and again but if you're careful and if you watch over this garden you can tend to these weeds,

These negative beliefs,

These bad habits,

These limiting belief systems or criticisms or feelings of harmful self-talk,

Anger,

Jealousy,

Any other low frequency feelings.

You can choose which weeds to pull.

You can choose which seeds to plant.

We have to pull these weeds frequently and thoroughly and we do this by guarding the thoughts that we hold in our mind and being very aware of the emotions that we feel by becoming mindful of how we operate on a daily basis and being careful that when we do begin to slip into patterns of negative thinking that we're able to recognize that and choose a better feeling thought.

It's also so important that we are providing our garden,

Our mind,

With quality content.

This means that we need to be mindful of what type of things that we are reading and listening to and watching and thinking about when we can nourish our mind with positive thoughts and love and we make sure that we're doing the things that fill us up and bring us joy then we can start to really grow the most abundant beautiful plants in this garden.

And then I'd like you to just begin to relax back into the body if it is calling for a little bit of movement or adjustments or if you'd like to fill up your lungs with a few really deep breaths.

Expand through the chest,

Expand through the belly.

Spend just a moment coming back into this room,

Into your environment and when it feels right for you you can begin to flutter the eyes open and just set an intention to go out into the rest of your day from a mindful space of tending to your garden.

Remembering to always plant the positive seeds and tend carefully to any pesky weeds that begin to sprout up.

I thank you so much for joining me for this meditation and I look forward to practicing with you again soon.

Take care.
