Hello,
I'm so grateful that you are here.
I am Mariam Ayesha and today we're going to be moving through an affirming practice for welcoming in the winter solstice.
Winter is a difficult season for a lot of us,
But much like we must learn to love every single part of us,
We also have to learn that there is beauty in every season.
My intention with this practice is to help you embrace this season with open arms,
Use the energy for your betterment,
And cultivate a deeper relationship with self along the way.
So let's get into it.
1.
Find a comfortable seat.
You can lay down if you'd like.
Allow your eyes to drift closed.
And take a few deep breaths at your own pace.
In through the nose and out through the mouth.
Draw out the exhale.
Really sigh it out.
2.
Now fully relax and be present.
You can repeat the affirmations out loud or in your head.
Or just allow me to speak these words over you and allow them to integrate into your subconscious mind.

I fully embrace and enjoy winter.
4.
I choose not to run from the depth,
The silence,
And the darkness of this season.
5.
I choose to dive headfirst into myself and make the most of this energy.
6.
I give myself the space and time to rest,
Recharge,
And tend to my inner garden.
7.
I choose to use this time to face my deepest wounds and emotions.
8.
This is the season for me to return to myself in any way that I have drifted away.
9.
I surrender to the transformation that this season will bring me emotionally,
Mentally,
And spiritually.
10.
I take time to tune in to the subtle signals,
Feelings,
And messages coming from my spiritual body as they come in.
11.
I know exactly when it is time for me to be open and to share and when it is time to recharge and to retreat.
12.
I sit with all the various emotions I feel and allow myself to witness them without any judgment.
13.
I sit with the difficult emotions with the same attention and care that I use for the less difficult ones.
14.
I choose to face and embrace my shadows instead of hiding or running from them,
From this day forward and forevermore.

I release any judgments I have about myself from how I may have acted,
Reacted,
And navigated in past situations.
16.
I am charting new paths and new ways of being.
17.
I release any judgments I have about myself from how I may have acted,
Reacted,
And navigated in past situations.

I am charting new paths and new ways of being.

I release any shame from any past version of myself.
20.
I did the best that I could with what I had.

I release any shame around feeling and witnessing my emotions.

I honor my inner cycles.

I honor the outer cycles.

I honor all of my emotions.

I am allowed to feel.

I am allowed to rest.

I am allowed to take time for me.

I am grounded.

I am exactly where I need to be.

I accept myself completely.

I love myself completely.

I embrace myself completely.

I trust myself.

I treat myself with tenderness.

I treat myself with love.

I treat myself with acceptance.

I treat myself with compassion.

I give myself grace.

I forgive myself.

I love myself.

I am a light in the darkness.

I love this season.

I embrace this season.

I know that no matter what I'm going through,
Better days are ahead.

I am grateful for my life.

I am grateful for every cycle.

I'm in.

I shave.

Feel how these words feel in your body as you return to full consciousness.
