This is a meditation for anyone who's feeling tense, overwhelmed or stressed. It is guided meditation to bring you back home to yourself and connect you back with your self-love and self-acceptance. Welcome,

Take a little bit of time just to get yourself settled,

Wriggle into a comfortable position.

Something that is poised and attentive,

Yet also relaxed and comfortable.

Take a really nice big deep breath in through your nose,

Gently holding the breath,

Letting it fall out of your body in its own time.

Do this as many times as you need to arrive into your body,

Into this moment.

Allow your breath to continue to breathe itself,

Giving the wisdom of the body,

The ownership of the breath as it breathes in and out.

You arrived here today for a reason,

Bring clarity to exactly why it was that you arrived here in this very moment.

Allow yourself to connect to your heart's calling.

Breathe deeply into the motivation that brought you here,

The reason why you decided to show up.

Feel your body with that energy and inspiration.

Breathe deeply.

As you breathe,

Create a space within your body,

Within yourself for whatever emotions and feelings are there beneath the surface to arise and fill those spaces.

Notice what comes up,

The types of energy patterns and feelings and emotions,

The qualities of those energies and where they are located inside of you.

You may notice that there's something deeper that desires to be expressed,

Desires to be felt and seen and heard,

This is an opportunity for you to get really real with yourself,

To be radically honest with what's beneath the surface.

As you breathe into that space,

Allow that deeper part of you to arise.

This may appear as a release of emotion,

Sadness or anger,

Fear.

This may also occur as intuition,

Wisdom,

A deeper knowing to a question that you've had for a long time.

Just notice what's there arising from beneath the surface for you.

Allow those parts of you that are normally pushed to a side,

Suppressed,

Ignored to have their space to be heard and to say exactly what it is that they feel.

With each breath you are creating a sacred space for all that is dark,

Neurotic,

Unsure,

Anxious to be seen and heard.

Allow that part of you that says,

I'm not afraid of you.

You are welcome here.

I love you.

To create a space for that other part of you that isn't okay,

That isn't feeling joyful or expressive or lovely.

If all of those things were expressed in their fullness,

What would they say?

What would it sound like?

Allow yourself to listen to your heard child.

What's on their heart?

What do they need to say to you?

What do they need to express and let go of?

Notice any resistance to expressing those parts of you.

Noticing the fear that sits behind that resistance.

And that too.

You allowed yourself to be really real with yourself in this moment.

What would your heard child say?

How does your heard child really feel?

Place both hands on your heart.

Take a very big nourishing,

Soothing breath in,

Gently holding at the top.

And slowly releasing,

Letting the breath fall out of your body.

In stillness,

There is wisdom.

Thank your heard child for sharing with you today.

In your own words,

Say anything that your heard child needs to hear right now.

That part of you that craves love and acceptance,

That's scared,

Self-critical,

Self-doubting.

What do they need to hear in this moment?

Place your hands in prayer on your forehead.

Give thanks to yourself for being here and showing up in this way.

Thanks to whoever or whatever feels that it needs praise in this moment.

You are perfect just as you are.
