Find a comfortable position.

Or perhaps in the lotus position with your spine upright,
Crown held high.
Take a deep breath and close your eyes.
Inhale,
Fill the belly.
And as you exhale,
Release down into your seat.
Allow the breath to settle to its natural rhythm.
Without altering it.
Simply resting in awareness.
Allow the body to relax.
Know that you are safe in this moment.
Now direct your attention to the body-breath connection.
Be aware of each inhalation and exhalation.
Feel the breath flow easily.
Visualise the breath as a fine thread of blue light.
A ray of light which leads to your source.
Through your breath you are constantly connected to the universe.
Inhale fresh energy and vitality.
Exhale used energy and fears.
Expand your awareness out now.
To infinity.
See your inner space filled with rays of light.
That cosmic energy being drawn to you.
You inhale and exhale light.
You are the centre through which life flows without interruption.
Your inner world exists within your heart space.
And your throat chakra helps you listen.
To seek truths.
This is the world of past,
Present and future.

To rest in awareness here as an observer.
