When you find yourself spiraling down a path you prefer not to take,

Choose to do this quick 3 minute meditation and change the direction of the rest of your day.

Close your eyes and take a nice deep inhale through your nose and exhale it out your open mouth with a big sigh.

Do this again.

And on the exhale,

Feel your shoulders relax down your back.

One more time.

Taking the biggest breath in you've taken all day.

And exhale it out your open mouth.

And with this last exhale,

You bring your awareness into your body.

Your awareness is going deeper into your core,

That space between your heart and gut,

Going deeper within.

Keep breathing slowly and deeply in and out through your nose,

Bringing your awareness farther in with each exhale.

And when you feel you have reached your core,

Ask your inner voice,

How am I feeling right now?

We're just deepening into ourselves to really feel what this moment is wanting us to feel.

There's no magic about this.

Just ask how you're feeling right now and listen.

Good.

Now ask your inner voice to show you or tell you how you can see this situation from a higher perspective.

How can I see this situation from a higher perspective?

Open your awareness.

Expand your awareness and just listen for a minute more.

Thank yourself for choosing to do this quick meditation instead of turning to social media or another avenue that would only bring you more of the same emotions you were feeling.

Have gratitude for yourself and the positive choices you've made to be here in this moment,

Giving yourself this time to just breathe and see this situation from a higher perspective.

You are doing so well.

Slowly start to bring your awareness back into the room,

Wiggling your fingers and toes and when you are ready,

Open your eyes.
