This meditation will support you healing your inner child and any childhood wounds that are still affecting you to this day.

To begin,

Find a nice comfortable spot where you can lay down,

Make sure your head is supported with a pillow,

Maybe grabbing a blanket.

Settling into the spot you are resting in,

Gently close down your eyes,

Take a deep breath in through the nose,

And a full breath out through the mouth.

Another deep breath in,

And a full breath out.

Landing into this present moment with one more deep breath in,

And full breath out.

Slowly letting go,

Coming into the here and now,

Returning your breath to its natural rhythm,

Letting go of any sounds in your background,

Bringing your attention inwards,

Bringing one hand to your heart and the other hand to your belly,

Inviting in softness and relaxation throughout your entire body,

Bringing your awareness to your heart space,

And from here ask your soul to step forward,

Feeling the expansiveness and the connection to your soul.

Ask your soul to show you a childhood wound that is still affecting you to days that you are ready to heal,

Paying attention to any memories,

Visualizations,

Feelings,

Or inner knowings of this childhood wound that is still affecting you today.

Once you have this memory or situation in mind,

I invite you to think about how old you were when this happened,

Letting whatever age come to mind,

Trusting that,

And set the intention to connect with that 5-year-old self or 8-year-old self or whatever age it is.

See that version of you standing in front of you now,

So you are greeting her as your present day self or him,

And you are just seeing them through your adult's eyes,

Just giving them a nice big smile and hug,

And if there is any insight or words of encouragement that you needed to hear at that age,

Anything that you wish someone would have told you to get through what they experienced,

Just go ahead and take a moment to tell your younger self whatever it is they need to hear.

If there is anything else you would like to share with that younger version of you,

Just taking a moment to share it now.

Finishing up,

Just giving your younger self a warm embrace again,

Letting them know that you are always here for them.

All they have to do is ask for your support,

Saying your goodbyes to this younger version of you,

Having so much compassion and grace for your younger self,

And gently bringing your awareness back into this present moment,

Noticing any sounds in your environment,

Feeling into your body,

Taking one more deep breath in,

Full breath out,

Letting go of everything that came up today,

Another deep breath in,

And out,

Completely letting go,

Giving your fingers and toes a wiggle,

And when you're ready,

Gently open your eyes.

Just being gentle with yourself today,

I know these healings can bring up some repressed emotions,

So take it easy today if you can.

I just want to thank you for allowing me to guide you through this process,

And I'm wishing you a wonderful rest of your day.

Namaste.
