Visualisation for creating helpful habits.

Take a moment to get comfortable.

With a relaxed posture,

Lying or sitting down.

With a back that is supported and aligned.

Release your shoulders.

Use your breath to release any tension from your body.

Breathe.

Relax your feet.

Focus on your legs and relax them.

Relax your pelvis.

Relax your abdomen.

Breathe into your chest and allow the ribcage to relax.

Relax your shoulders.

Relax your neck.

Your chin.

Relax your jaw.

Soften your face.

Your eyes.

Your forehead.

And your temple.

And relax your scalp.

Observe your body lying here.

Without tension.

As you breathe.

Notice how good it feels to be this comfortable and this relaxed.

Now,

As you watch your body in your mind's eye.

I want you to see how well organised you can be.

I want you to see yourself taking the daily actions required for you to be the most calm,

Most organised and most self committed that you can be.

What are the daily actions you need to take to be your best self?

What are the choices you have to make day in and day out to be that version of you?

I want you to see yourself making those positive decisions and taking the actions you know you need to take.

And I want you to observe the benefits to your mind and your body for taking those actions and making them habitual.

And now,

Put yourself inside your body.

So that instead of seeing yourself do the actions,

You are seeing through your own eyes as you do the tasks that you can easily commit to doing.

The small moments in your day that lead to successful,

Helpful habits.

Feel in your body how good it is to complete these tiny moments and how good it makes you feel to complete them day in and day out.

Observe the positive phrases that resonate in your head as you fulfil these easy to do actions.

Easy to do and yet easy not to do.

The simplest of tasks that are easy to shy away from.

Hear how proud you are of completing these life changing habits.

Notice how much you want to fulfil this commitment to yourself.

You are now taking the actions you need to take to become the best version of you.

You commit to yourself and you fulfil those commitments daily.

See how easy it is to take tiny steps to improve your life and hear yourself celebrating those small moments.

Allow yourself to smile as you celebrate each tiny task.

And now return your awareness to your breathing.

Breathing in and in your own time breathing out.

Return your awareness to your body and the chair or the floor beneath you.

Slowly begin to move your arms and your hands to wiggle your toes and your feet.

Take one last deep breath in and out and when you are ready come back to the room and open your eyes.
