Presence simply means being really, truly alive and focused on each moment as it arises by becoming acutely aware of how the energy around you feels. Anna introduces here the 12 Senses and their relationship to perception. Here's an easy practice for you to get into that space.

Alright,

Here's the practice for presence,

Which is very simple.

You just sit comfortably.

Connect to the breath.

We'll stop with the eyes closed,

Very simple and very deliberate.

Just breathing in and breathing out.

You're aware of your breath and your heartbeat,

That's all.

You're aware of how you feel.

You're aware of how you feel within you,

Within the breath and within the heartbeat.

You're aware of how you feel within you.

And then you're aware of how you feel,

How the energy around you,

That is on the outside of your feels and you breathe.

And you breathe in and you breathe out.

And the awareness shifts from internal to external,

Although in reality,

There is no internal or external,

It's all within.

And it shifts within the different energy configurations to give context of interpretation by the inner senses.

You have five senses that operate on the external plane and five senses that operate on an internal plane.

And then on the external plane,

You have a sixth sense that is all the external senses together.

And on the internal plane,

You have what is ultimately the twelfth sense that weaves all the internal senses together to give you a vehicle with which to read and to interpret and ultimately to go beyond this,

Which is to know energy.

And it is to know yourself as energy and then its application of such.

So you just hold this and you breathe,

You scan to know.

So within this scanning and this knowing and your practice here and now of presence,

Which simply put is all about being alive,

You will incorporate this into your daily life.

So your meditation or your presence practice,

Which eventually ultimately becomes one with you,

So you do it all the time,

Does not take you out of life.

It's no longer another thing you have to do.

It becomes just is and a part of the what is that is life.

Because spirit is about life,

Spirit is about putting you directly into life and you are not only on the path,

You become the path.

It is that simple.

And the path just is.

And the presence deals with what is.

It's so simple.

And so you breathe and you are aware and you are exercising now each one of your 12 senses.

Just take the time to view,

To smell,

To taste,

To listen,

Hear.

And ultimately to know.

Very simple.

Very gentle.

Very loving,

Very kind and extremely precise.

So confusion melts within this,

For this is the truth of the light,

For all that is.

It's not about doing.

It just is.

So you just breathe in and out,

Very gentle.

Hold this breath,

Hold this practice.

And then when you are ready,

Open your eyes and just glance a little bit in front of you.

Just rest the eyes,

A little bit lower than your usual gaze.

And you are now fully present in the physical plane.

And you allow yourself all the time to scan,

Just watch the energy as it arises.

Hold this space for a bit.

And with you we breathe together.

And we listen to the heartbeat together.

And we allow what comes into view,

To come into view.

And we allow the view to expand.

As we are here.

Now,

As you become more practice,

This is a good space to stop the recording and to just hold the space.

For now,

We just hold the awareness together of what is in this moment.

And we bring the awareness of each moment that we touch,

Enriching the moment that has just passed.

So we build upon it,

And it just is,

And the value is of this moment.

The value is of the moment built upon that All,

Which has come before that All.

And Spirit,

As always and necessarily interwoven in the fabric of what to many are deemed ordinary lives,

And to you,

To those who practice and experience the multiplicity of each moment,

Life becomes more than ordinary,

It becomes extraordinary.

It becomes precious,

And it becomes fully,

Absolutely,

Ultimately alive.
