This meditation has been lovingly crafted to create a deep state of relaxation,
To quiet and calm the mind,
And to release all chronic unconscious worry and anxiety.
We spend most of our time in our minds,
Constantly thinking,
Over-evaluating and becoming locked in mental activity,
Continually replaying,
Re-analyzing and rethinking our life events,
Which leads to chronic anxiety.
This simple meditation will powerfully retrain your everyday conscious mind to move towards the more productive state of flow,
Roundedness and security.
So let us begin.
Positioning yourself in a safe place where you are unlikely to be disturbed for the next little while.
Have your back upright and gently closing your eyes.
Allowing your awareness to move closer into your body.
Breathing in,
And as you breathe out,
Relax your body.
Breathing in,
And as you breathe out,
Allow your body to relax.
Allowing all tension to be released with the outward breath.
Breathing in,
Breathing out,
Releasing all tension in the head,
The jaw,
Throat,
Shoulders and belly.
Breathing in,
And breathing out,
Release.
Being aware of the mind,
The brain,
And allowing the brain to gently and naturally unscrunch.
Feeling your eyes gently softening and releasing tension.
Allowing the eyes to gently and naturally rest back into their sockets.
Breathing in,
Breathing out,
Release.
Allowing all sensations to rise and fall with the inward breath and the outward breath.
Knowing you are safe here in your body.
Taking your awareness to the belly.
Breathing in,
And as you breathe out,
Relax the belly.
Allow the belly to soften.
We hold so much tension in the belly.
And when we are constantly in the mind,
Thinking thoughts,
Our energy begins to rest up in the head,
And we shallow breathe.
So taking your awareness to the belly,
And allow the belly to be soft.
As you soften the belly,
You create space.
For the outward breath to begin to descend into.
Breathing in,
And breathing out,
Releasing all tension in the belly.
Breathing in,
Breathing out,
Relaxing the belly.
Creating space.
Allow the belly to be soft.
And allowing the outward breath to begin to gently descend into the belly,
Simply by creating space in the belly.
Breathing in,
And as you breathe out,
Simply allow the outward breath to descend into the belly.
Naturally,
Effortlessly,
Gently.
Feeling your body,
Heavier now,
Into the support of the floor or the chair that you are sitting on.
Allowing yourself to inhabit your body.
You are safe in your body.
With each inward breath,
And outward breath,
Feel more and more tension being released.
Allowing yourself to feel heavier and heavier into the support that you are sitting on.
Taking your awareness deeper now into the body,
And using your inner eyes,
Starting from the crown of your head,
And working your way downwards through the body.
Scanning your physical body,
Noticing,
How does my body feel?
Go ahead and begin.
Go ahead and begin.
Checking in with your body.
Noticing if there are any areas of the body that are difficult to connect with or see with your inner eyes.
And simply allow,
Accepting whatever it is you find or discover on your journey in this inner landscape.
Noticing if your body feels hot or cold.
Does it feel heavy?
Or light?
Do you feel calm or stressed?
Simply taking note.
And accepting whatever you discover.
Allow this to be a process of discovery.
And accepting whatever you find.
If the mind is busy,
Simply take a breath in.
And as you breathe out,
Allowing those thoughts to float away out of the brain,
Into the ether,
And take your awareness back to the body.
And then taking your awareness deeper still into your emotional body,
And asking yourself,
How do I feel right here in this present moment?
How do I feel?
Allowing your emotional body to give you the answer.
And accepting whatever response arrives for you.
Knowing that all things change,
And even this is temporary.
Taking your awareness now to the base of your spine.
And feeling a heaviness here at the base of your spine,
A gentle pull into the earth.
Feeling your connection to the earth.
Allowing the support of the earth to come right up underneath you now.
And allow yourself to rest into that support.
Breathing in.
And as you breathe out,
Allow yourself to rest deeper and deeper into the support of Mother Earth.
Breathing in.
Breathing out.
You are safe.
Breathing in.
Breathing out.
Releasing all gripping,
Clenching,
Resistance.
Breathing in.
Breathing out.
You are grounded and secure.
Breathing in.
Breathing out.
Letting go of any fear,
Stress or anxiety.
Feel it releasing into the earth.
Being aware now of roots like a tree beginning to grow out of the base of your spine.
And slowly plunging into the earth.
Feel these roots naturally and easily plunging down through the earth.
Connecting.
Deeper and deeper through all the layers of the earth.
Feel these roots plunging all the way down into the core of the earth now.
And connecting with the heart of Mother Earth.
Plugging into the heart of the earth.
And feeling the energy here of safety,
Security,
Joy and life force.
This energy is so rich and abundant and available for you at any moment.
All you have to do is allow your roots to plug into this rich,
Infinite pool of energy.
Feeling your roots wrapping around the heart of the earth.
Lovingly and excitedly.
And as you do so,
Feeling the heart of Mother Earth responding.
And energy flowing from this place up through the earth,
Up through your roots,
Up through the base of your spine and into your heart.
Feel your heart opening as this rush of loving,
Supportive,
Stabilizing,
Secure energy fills your entire heart and creates a pool of rich,
Joyful,
Infinite energy.
Safe,
Secure,
High vibrational energy in your heart that will hold you through your day of doing.
Feel this energy warm in your heart.
Feel it comforting you like a soft blanket of love.
And feel it now wrapping all around you.
Holding you in a loving embrace.
All the while feeling safe,
Calm and peaceful.
Being aware of your state of peace and stillness now.
Offering no resistance.
Feeling grounded,
Safe,
Steady,
Calm and light,
Safely anchored in this present moment,
Right here,
Right now,
Safe and secure.
Being aware that you are much more than your thoughts,
Your mind.
Being aware that the fullness of you continues to watch and witness from a state of calmness and peace.
And making a choice now to remain fully present to these waves of energy.

You can remain in this state for as long as you wish.
And when you return,
Doing so feeling refreshed,
Re-energized,
