Welcome to this EFT tapping session for releasing the fear of being seen.

In this session we will work together to gently release the anxiety,

Fear and the discomfort you might feel around being visible.

Whether this is in your work,

In your relationships or simply just showing up as your true authentic self in the world.

Before we begin I'd like you to take a moment to tune into this fear.

Close your eyes and notice where you feel it in your body.

Maybe this is a tightness in your chest or not in your stomach.

You feel it in your solar plexus,

Some tension in your shoulders,

Your jaw.

And just notice without any judgment.

And now rate this intensity of your fear of being seen on a scale of 0 to 10.

Where 10 is the most intense fear you can imagine.

And 0 is complete peace and comfort with being visible.

And then make a mental note of this number.

Inhale deeply,

Take a cleansing breath and let's begin.

We'll start by tapping on the karate chop point.

That's a fleshy outer edge of your hand.

The part you'd use in a karate chop.

You can use either hand,

Whatever feels most comfortable.

And you tap continuously with the fingers of your other hand on this point while you repeat the setup statement three times after me.

And after this setup statement we will move into the actual tapping sequence where I will also guide you through the tapping points.

You tap on them with your fingers and always repeat after me.

So let's get started.

Even though I'm afraid of being seen and it feels scary to be visible in the world,

I deeply and completely accept myself.

Even though I have this fear of being seen and part of me wants to hide and stay small,

I choose to honor how I feel.

Even though being visible feels unsafe and I'm scared of what might happen if people really see me,

I accept myself and all of my fears.

Now in this first round we're going to tap through the points on your face and on your body.

Just keep tapping on these points with your fingers as you repeat after me.

Don't worry about doing it perfect.

It doesn't really matter.

Just tap at a pace that feels comfortable for you,

Approximately on the point where I'm guiding you towards.

I'm going to start at the inner edge of the eyebrow.

Start tapping and repeat after me.

This fear of being seen.

Side of the eye.

I'm scared to be visible.

Under the eye.

What if people judge me?

Under the nose.

This fear of being seen.

Under the mouth.

It's not safe to be visible.

On the collarbones.

All this fear about being seen.

Under the arms.

On the ribcage.

I'm scared of what they think.

On top of the head.

This fear of being seen.

Eyebrow.

It feels safer to stay hidden.

Side of the eye.

To play small.

Under the eye.

This fear in my body.

Under the nose.

I can feel it right now.

Under the mouth.

All this fear of being seen.

Collarbone.

What if they criticize me?

Under the arm.

What if I'm not good enough?

Top of the head.

This fear of being visible.

Eyebrow.

I learned to stay small.

Side of the eye.

Maybe it was never safe to be seen.

Under the eye.

Maybe I was criticized when I shined?

Under the nose.

I was told I was too much?

Under the mouth.

So I learned to hide.

Collarbone.

To keep myself small.

Under the arm.

This fear feels so real.

Top of the head.

This fear of being seen.

Eyebrow.

Part of me wants to be invisible.

Side of the eye.

It feels so much safer that way.

Under the eye.

But it's also exhausting.

Under the nose.

Hiding who I really am.

Under the mouth.

Dimming my light.

Collarbone.

This fear of shining.

Under the arm.

This fear of being fully visible.

Top of the head.

I honor how hard this has been.

Take a gentle deep breath and let's continue the next round.

Eyebrow.

This fear has protected me.

Side of the eye.

But it's also kept me stuck.

Under the eye.

I've missed opportunities.

Under the nose.

Because I was afraid to be seen.

Under the mouth.

I've hidden my gifts.

Collarbone.

I stayed in the shadows.

Under the arm.

This fear of being visible.

Top of the head.

It has kept me small for so long.

Eyebrow point.

But what if it's time?

Side of the eye.

What if it's time to be seen?

Under the eye.

That thought feels scary.

Under the nose.

But also a little exciting.

Under the mouth.

What if I could be safe?

Collarbone.

And be seen at the same time.

Under the arm.

What if being seen and visible could feel good?

Top of the head.

I'm open now to this possibility.

Eyebrow point.

I'm safe in this moment.

Side of the eye.

Right here.

Right now.

Under the eye.

I'm learning that I can be seen.

Under the nose.

And still be safe.

Under the mouth.

Maybe being visible doesn't have to be scary.

Collarbone.

Maybe I can shine my light.

Under the arm.

And be safe at the same time.

Top of the head.

I'm open to feeling safe being seen.

Eyebrow.

The world needs what I have to offer.

Side of the eye.

My voice matters.

Under the eye.

My presence matters.

Under the nose.

And I'm allowed to take up space.

Under the mouth.

It's safe for me to be visible.

Collarbone.

It's safe for me to shine.

Under the arm.

Even if it feels uncomfortable at first.

Top of the head.

I'm learning it feels safe to be seen.

I'm learning it is safe to be seen.

Eyebrow point.

I release this fear of being seen.

Side of the eye.

I let it grow from every cell of my body.

Under the eye.

This old fear.

Under the nose.

It served its purpose.

Under the mouth.

But I don't need it anymore.

Collarbone.

I release this fear now.

Under the arm.

And I give myself permission to be visible.

Top of the head.

To show up fully in the world.

Eyebrow point.

Not everyone will like me.

Side of the eye.

And that's okay.

Under the eye.

I don't need everyone's approval.

Under the nose.

I need my own approval.

Under the mouth.

And I approve of myself.

Collarbone.

Just as I am.

Under the arm.

I'm safe being seen.

Top of the head.

I'm safe being visible.

Eyebrow.

I choose to feel safe being seen.

Side of the eye.

I choose to shine my light.

Under the eye.

The world is better when I'm visible.

Under the nose.

When I share my gifts.

Under the mouth.

I'm worthy of being seen.

Collarbone.

I'm worthy of taking up space.

Under the arm.

My voice deserves to be heard.

Top of the head.

And I'm safe expressing myself.

Eyebrow.

I release the need to hide.

Side of the eye.

I release the need to stay small.

Under the eye.

I step into visibility.

Under the nose.

With courage and confidence.

Under the mouth.

I am safe.

Collarbone.

I am seen.

Under the arm.

I am valued for who I am.

Top of the head.

And that feels really,

Really good.

Eyebrow.

I honor my journey.

Side of the eye.

And I'm proud of myself.

Under the eye.

For doing this work.

Under the nose.

I'm safe shining my light in the world.

Under the mouth.

My presence is a gift.

Collarbone.

And I allow myself to be seen.

Under the arm.

To be fully visible.

Top of the head.

Just as I am.

Eyebrow.

I trust myself.

Side of the eye.

I trust that I'm safe.

Under the eye.

Even when I'm visible.

Under the nose.

Even when people can see me.

Under the mouth.

I choose to show up.

Collarbone.

I choose to be seen.

Under the arm.

And I choose to shine.

Top of the head.

I am safe.

I am seen.

I am enough.

Take a deep,

Beautiful breath in.

And then release with a sigh.

Notice how you feel now.

Notice any shifts in your body,

In your emotions,

In your thoughts about being seen.

And now again,

Rate your fear of being seen on that scale of 0 to 10.

Has it decreased?

Even a small shift is a significant process.

And if you still feel some intensity around that fear,

This is completely normal and okay.

You can always repeat this tapping sequence as many times as you need to.

And each time you do tap,

You release more of this old fear and create more space for feeling safe in your visibility.

And always remember,

You are worthy of being seen.

Your light,

Your voice,

Your presence,

They all matter.

The world needs what you have to offer and you deserve to share it freely and safely.

Be gentle with yourself as you are continuing this journey.

And I encourage you to celebrate every small step.

Thank you for taking this time for yourself.

I really thank you for your courage in addressing this fear.

And for being open to being seen.

For being willing to shine your light in the world.

Until next time,

Be gentle with yourself and keep tapping.
