So you've just got home and this is your time now.
A time to relax or maybe you have a few house things to do.
Either way you don't need to be carrying your day around with you.
So it's time to put your day behind you and come back to being in this moment.
So get yourself comfortable on a meditation cushion or chair or bench.
Give your arms and hands a shake.
Loosen your shoulders and settle in.
Slowing down and applying the breaks.
And congratulate yourself for getting through a day's work.
Just acknowledging all the things you had to do to make this day happen and to fulfil your role at work.
And if you want to,
Think of one thing you found challenging.
And one thing that gave you a sense of satisfaction or maybe just a peaceful moment.
It doesn't have to be anything big.
It might have just been a sip of tea or the relief of getting off the bus or train.
Maybe it was meeting a deadline.
So just acknowledging your days ups and downs and that you are here now in this moment having navigated all those challenges.
So you can now let go of all of that and really arriving in the here and now.
Giving yourself permission to let go of your day and also anything that you have to do later.
This is your time to recharge and give yourself some positive energy and kindness.
So take a deep breath in.
Breathing out and you can let out a sigh as well if you want to.
Allowing your body to sink into the surface you are sitting on.
And taking this opportunity to really slow down.
Let your mind and body recover from the day.
So let's keep things simple for this meditation.
Just shifting your focus to your whole body breathing.
Feeling your body rising and falling as you breathe in and out.
And if you want to you can imagine that you are floating on the waves of the ocean.
Allowing your body to rise and fall and breathing in.
Breathing out and as you come down as you breathe out.
Letting go a little bit more and allowing your breath to bring you back up again.
Rising and falling like the waves of the ocean.
Almost like your body is breathing you.
You are just observing.
And now imagine you are breathing in a white light all the way through your body.
And this white light heals you.
Softens any tension and relaxes your muscles.
This light nourishes every cell of your body revitalising you and recharging you.
And as you breathe out imagine you are breathing out stormy winds that have troubled you today.
Gently breathing them out and away.
And then breathing in the white light again.
Feeling your body soften and relax.
And then breathing out those storms of any negativity you are holding onto.
And soon there is only calm clear air in your body as your body renews and rejuvenates.
And if you want to now you can imagine a bright white light shining around your body clearing a space around you.
And this is your space to relax in.
There is nothing else there just you and your breathing.
Shining as a bright white light.
So continuing to breathe and settle.
Feeling your body rising and falling as you breathe in and out in the calm still peaceful space you have created.
And as you breathe in the light again.
And as you breathe out the light again.
And as you breathe in the light again.
