Hello and welcome to this Insight Timer guided meditation.

Within this meditation I'm going to guide you on a shamanic journey for connecting with the spirit animal of the Swan.

Before doing so however let me share with you my Soul Pathway Oracle Card so that you're able to connect with the gifts and medicine that come through from the spirit animal of the Swan.

Now the spirit animal of the Swan resembles love,

Trust and grace.

Swans teach you to honour the sacred gift of life as you apply grace to your journey.

Symbolically they are a representation of love and it is said that when you see a Swan love is nearby.

If you are connecting with the spirit animal of the Swan notice how love is blossoming in your life.

Now is a time to trust in the divine as you surrender to the plan of Great Spirit.

Pay attention to your feminine intuition as you allow this to guide you.

Instead of trying to force an outcome by placing expectations go with the flow and let everything unfold naturally for you.

Believe in your heart and what is meant to be will find a way.

Now let me guide you on this shamanic journey.

I'd like you to find a place where you can simply and easily relax away from any distractions that may be around you so that you can connect with this guided meditation and embrace this shamanic journey as you connect with the spirit animal of the Swan.

Let's begin by taking a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.

In through your nose and out through your mouth.

One more time.

In through your nose and out through your mouth.

And allow yourself to relax.

Let go in this moment.

We're going to begin by relaxing each and every muscle and fibre in your body and then begin relaxing your mind so that you can let go and become present and connected to this moment.

Start by relaxing your head as you relax your forehead.

You can bring that relaxation down through to your eyes as your eyelids become heavy and as they close all together.

Bringing that relaxation down through to your cheeks as they begin to soften and allowing that relaxation to float around your mouth and your jaw as your whole face begins to feel much more at ease.

Bring that relaxation further down now through to your neck as you relax your neck and bringing that relaxation down through to your shoulders.

When you get to your shoulders take a nice deep breath in and raise your shoulders and on that out breath.

Allow your shoulders to just fall by your wayside so that you can simply and easily relax and let go.

Doing that one more time.

Breathing in,

Raising your shoulders and on your out breath.

Allow your shoulders to just fall by your wayside so that you can release any stress or tension that you may hold in your muscles there.

Allowing that relaxation to float down through to your torso,

Relaxing your torso and all of your arms now and bringing that relaxation down through to your stomach.

Relaxing your muscles there and allow that relaxation to float down through to your waist.

Relaxing those muscles there as well and allow the relaxation to flow down through your legs.

As you relax your legs and allow it to float into your knees.

As you begin relaxing your joints and those muscles in your knees and allow that relaxation to float down through to the lower half of your legs and your ankles.

As you begin relaxing those joints as well.

As you allow that relaxation to flow all over you in this moment.

Like a comfort blanket that can protect you and support you on this shamanic journey.

Imagine that comfort blanket just covering you so that you can feel much more comfortable and at ease.

So that you can release,

Let go and go with the flow.

Now let me begin with my shamanic drum as you begin connecting with the heartbeat of your soul.

Connecting with the rhythm of nature and your heartbeats.

As you connect with your sacred breath.

Become in rhythm and in alignment to the drum as you are guided on your soul's journey.

Now I'd like you to imagine standing in nature with your feet rooted to the ground.

Feeling that connection and stability in this moment.

Feel that connection to mother earth and smell the freshness of the air.

Maybe able to even feel the warmth of the sun on your face.

Then what I'd like for you to do is imagine walking around a beautiful lake.

As you walk around this lake,

I'd like you to connect with the flow of the water.

As you start connecting with the emotions and feelings deep within you.

As you allow your emotions to surface.

As you feel and connect with your soul.

That's right.

As you begin walking around this lake,

Feel your connection with one and everything.

Feel your connection with nature,

The animals that surround you and even the connection with your soul.

Now once you've walked around the lake,

The lake,

I'd like you to notice the swans that sit there graciously on the lake,

Just slowly swimming and gliding through the water.

Allow yourself to connect with the swan.

Feel the graciousness of this animal as you notice the beauty within it.

As you connect with the swan,

I'd like you to feel as though you are becoming at one with the swan and the swan is becoming at one with you.

As you have this deep connection with this swan,

Allow yourself to float inside the body of the swan in this moment.

As you become at one with it.

As you begin to do so,

Notice yourself floating and hovering over the water graciously.

As you trust the flow of life and as you trust the flow of your journey.

The spirit animal of the swan resembles love,

Trust and grace.

I'd like for you to notice the grace within yourself and the love that is appearing on your path.

Know that this love has showed up for a reason.

And in this moment,

The great spirit is calling you to trust and have faith.

For the swan is teaching you to honour the sacred gift of life as you apply grace to your journey.

Any of the emotions and feelings that show up for you in this moment,

As you connect this beautiful divine love and allow them to surface as you embrace the heartbeat of your soul.

In this beautiful and blissful connection,

Swans are symbolically a representation of love.

For when a swan is nearby,

It says that love is forever present in your life.

Now is a time to trust in the divine as you surrender to the plan of great spirits.

Trust in yourself.

Trust in your journey.

As you embrace this divine love,

As you surrender to the love that is within you.

Pay attention to your feminine intuition,

However,

And allow this to guide you.

Allow your intuition to guide you as you surrender to the plan of great spirit.

Open your heart to love in the knowing that you can then allow to receive divine love.

Instead of trying to force an outcome by placing expectations,

Go with the flow and let everything unfold naturally for you.

As you float on the lake as a swan,

Go with the flow of the currents of the water as you connect with your soul.

Now is a time for you to believe in your heart for what is meant to be or find.

I'd like you to slowly float back to your human body.

As you float back to the edge of the lake,

Notice your body standing there in this moment.

Then float outside of the body of the swan and back in to the soul of your being.

As you do so,

Notice the love that exists within you.

Notice how that you can begin to surrender to the plan of great spirit.

Instead of placing an outcome or any expectation,

You can allow everything to naturally unfold for you.

As you believe your heart and soul,

As you allow your heart to open and as you know that what is meant to be will find its way.

Allow yourself to take that journey as you take a deep breath in through your nose,

Through your mouth and slowly allow yourself to come back to now,

The divine love that exists within you.

Breath in through your nose and out through your mouth and allow yourself to come back to now.
