Rise and shine, beautiful ones! This is a brief meditation for when you don't have a ton of time, but still want to connect with your inner space. Morning Meditation is a journey of gratitude and joy using breath, awareness, and the power of the Sun.

Morning meditation.

Close your eyes and breathe.

In through the nose and out through the mouth.

Relax.

Settle into your body.

Keep breathing.

In through the nose and out through the mouth.

Bring your awareness to your breath.

Feel it filling you up.

Bring your awareness to your body.

Think of all that your body does for you.

Supporting you in your life.

All the things the body does without even being asked.

It's an amazing thing.

Say thank you to your body for all it does for you.

Keep breathing.

Your breath is your key to maintaining a balanced state of being.

Deep,

Full breaths.

In and out.

Learning to control your breath is one of the keys to living a centered life.

Keep your breath steady and even and you can maintain your presence in the face of anything you encounter today.

In through the nose and out through the mouth.

Now bring your awareness to your toes.

Feel the tips of your toes getting slightly warm.

As if they are being touched by the light of the sun.

It's a comfortable,

Soothing warmth.

You can see the sun shining brightly on the tips of your toes.

The light starts to climb up your feet over your ankles.

You feel the warmth of the sun on your feet and your ankles.

Slowly moving up your shins and your calves.

Up over your knees.

You feel the light climbing up your legs.

Over your hips and pelvis.

Your hands.

Your torso and your arms.

Your shoulders and your neck.

The light and warmth of the sun is spreading across your face as you continue to breathe.

In through the nose and out through the mouth.

The light is on your eyes and your forehead.

It slowly moves all the way up to the top of your head.

The sun is filling you with its energy.

Recharging you like a battery.

This day is a new start.

A new beginning.

A reset button.

This day is for you to begin to create the life you have dreamt of.

The life you came here to live.

In through the nose and out through the mouth.

The sun has warmed and invigorated you.

Your breath has brought your awareness to your body and to the present moment.

The eternal now.

You have given your body thanks for all that it does for you.

In return,

Your body is vital.

It is healthy and thriving.

It is supporting you.

You are carried through this day by your breath.

By the light.

By your awareness of this moment now.

Now is all there is.

Our awareness is never in the future.

It is never in the past.

It is only now.

And today,

If you find yourself at any point overwhelmed or unsure,

Anxious or afraid,

Just remember your breath.

In through the nose and out through the mouth.
