Taking some time to sit down and get comfortable with your feet on the floor and your hands on your lap,

Taking a gentle deeper breath in and out and closing down the eyes,

Letting the eyes rest and relax.

It's time to find some peace.

Imagine yourself standing in a shower,

The water washing away anything that disturbs you.

Turn the water on now,

It's the perfect temperature.

The water not only washing off your body,

Releasing tension,

But strangely and curiously washing through you,

Bringing a sense of peace,

Serenity and quiet.

Down through the head,

Through the neck and the shoulders and the arms,

Bringing peace.

Down through the torso,

Warming and soothing,

Bringing peace,

Washing away any tension,

Any discomfort or unease.

Down through the hips,

Down through the legs,

Warming and soothing,

Bringing peace and serenity.

Down through the legs,

Through the knees,

Through the ankles,

Through the feet.

And just standing there,

Allowing the water to wash away any blockages to peace,

To serenity,

To stillness.

That's right.

And having a gentle stretch now,

A slightly deeper breath in and out,

And you can open your eyes and return to the day.
