Happiness can seem fleeting at times and yet, there are simple, effective ways to become and remain happier in everyday life. The recording uses positive affirmations, imagery and suggestions to create longer lasting feelings of contentment and happiness. When you start to feel happier within yourself, you start attracting like minded people and energy. Enjoy!

Hi,

This is Andrew from WithAndrewJohnson.

Com This recording is designed to guide you down into a deep state of physical and emotional relaxation.

So never play this recording when you're driving a car or operating machinery.

Take some time to make yourself comfortable.

You can sit or lie down as long as you're comfortable.

Good.

And close your eyes.

Just allow your eyes to close and we'll start the relaxation procedure.

Relaxing is easy when you allow it to happen.

So just follow these simple instructions and allow yourself to drift down into relaxation and stillness and peace.

Allow your mind to do a little scan down through your body.

Notice how you're holding yourself.

Notice any tension,

Any discomfort within your body.

And start allowing your muscles a little bit of time to relax.

Let's start with the muscles in the jaw.

Give your jaw a little wiggle.

Allow it to relax.

Allow the muscles of the jaw to soften and loosen.

That's right.

Allow the muscles across your face to relax.

The cheeks,

The eyes,

The forehead.

Softening and loosening.

Relax the muscles around your neck and down into the shoulders.

Between the shoulders dropping and softening.

Releasing,

Relaxing.

And down through the arms.

Down through the elbows.

Down through the wrists.

Down into the hands and fingers and thumbs.

Softening and loosening.

Relaxing and relaxing.

Good.

Relax the muscles of your back.

Imagine yourself sinking a little deeper into the chair or into the bed.

That's good.

Relax the chest.

Relax the stomach.

Move down into the hips,

Relaxing the hips,

The thighs,

The knees,

The calves,

The ankles,

The feet and all the toes.

Softening,

Loosening,

Releasing,

Relaxing.

Isn't it nice to know that there's nothing you need to?

Nothing to think about,

Nowhere to go.

Just this time,

Here,

In this moment.

It's time to relax,

To be still,

To be at peace.

With those thoughts,

You can sink a little deeper.

And notice,

As always,

As you start to relax,

As the muscles are losing their everyday tension.

You're starting to feel a little heavier.

You can enjoy this heaviness.

Let it expand.

Let it move through you.

Sinking deeper and deeper.

Imagine your entire body's becoming as heavy as lead.

Good.

Notice the flow of your breathing,

In and out.

Notice the difference in temperature between the in-breath and the out-breath.

And if it feels comfortable,

If it feels natural,

Touch the tip of your tongue onto the roof of your mouth,

Just behind the teeth.

And allow the breath to go a little deeper.

A little deeper down into the stomach.

Just allow it to happen.

Don't force it.

Simply notice it.

And notice how,

As you exhale,

You relax a little.

Just a little more.

And you can help this relaxation.

You can allow it to happen even more.

You can sink a little deeper by simply imagining every muscle in your body releasing just a little more as you breathe out.

Imagine yourself sinking a little deeper,

Becoming a little heavier,

Becoming a little more comfortable with each out-breath.

That's good.

Spend a few moments now following your breath and allowing yourself to sink a little deeper.

As you follow your breathing,

You'll find that in a moment or two,

You'll hear me count down from 10 to 1.

With each slow descending number between 10 and 1,

You're becoming a little deeper relaxed.

Perhaps even 10% more relaxed with each descending number.

Each slow descending number helps you to drift one-tenth deeper into the state of relaxation that's just perfect for you here in this moment.

Even tenth more relaxed with each slow descending number.

So ready.

Ten.

Nine.

Drifting deeper and deeper relaxed.

Eight.

Seven.

Drifting down.

More and more comfortable.

Six.

Deeper and deeper still.

Five.

Four.

Deeper and deeper.

Seven.

Two.

One.

All the way down.

Deeper,

Down,

Relaxed.

In a moment or two,

I'm going to suggest certain things to your mind.

And your unconscious mind will only accept suggestions when they're recognized to be healthy and positive and beneficial.

But when your unconscious mind recognizes any of the following suggestions to be healthy,

Positive and beneficial,

It accepts them gladly,

Allowing them to become part of you,

Part of your inner world,

Part of your everyday life.

You may find,

However,

That as I offer these suggestions,

Your conscious mind wanders off.

And I want you to know that it doesn't matter where you go.

It doesn't matter where you drift.

My voice will be there with you.

Your unconscious mind always accepting positive suggestions.

I want you to know that happiness is simply a state of mind.

We can choose to be happy or sad in whatever conditions we live in.

A simple choice to be happy.

And you can choose in this moment to be a happier person.

You may have heard of lottery winners being very happy with their good fortune.

But after a while,

Many seem to drift back to exactly the same level of happiness that they had before their good fortune.

Happiness is all in the mind.

You may also have heard of someone diagnosed with a life-threatening illness,

Drifting into sadness and depression for a while.

And then,

Surprisingly quickly,

Many returning to the level of happiness that they had always enjoyed.

Happiness is all in the mind.

Happiness is a choice.

We can simply choose to be happy.

And when we choose to be happier,

It affects our energy,

Our facial expressions,

The way we hold ourselves,

The way we interact with others.

You see,

Human beings are like mirrors.

As we go through our daily lives,

We reflect our energy and thoughts and words to each other.

Smiles are reflected back,

Adding to our happiness.

Happiness is reflected back,

Adding to our feelings of well-being and acceptance.

And if you decide that the world is a happy place,

Then most of the time,

This positive energy will be reflected back to you.

Can you imagine energy beams of kindness and happiness flowing out of you,

Influencing and energizing everything and everyone around you with the same positive thoughts and feelings and energy?

As your positive,

Happier energy flows easier and easier,

You are feeling happier for no particular reason.

Happy for the sake of being happy.

Happy in your thoughts and happy in your body.

You wake in the morning feeling a little more joy for life,

And this happiness flows easily throughout the day.

You feel happier because you choose to feel happier.

As your energy continues to change in positive ways,

Your happiness and connection to others flows back to you.

You are able to see positive energy in everyone and feel the good in the world.

This flows back into your energy system,

Helping you to feel comfortable and happy with yourself and your world,

No matter what's going on around you.

And because this energy is boundless,

Limitless,

The more happiness that you project,

The more you welcome into your life.

And the more happiness that you welcome,

The more you are able to give.

As the hours turn into days and the days turn into weeks,

This subtle change integrates with how you live your life.

It becomes part of your everyday existence,

Part of your inner realities.

Life is becoming simpler and easier and happier,

More natural,

More enjoyable for you.

A wonderful transformation is taking place.

You are becoming a happier person,

The type of person you have always wanted to be.

And so if at any moment you notice yourself feeling less than happy,

Stop what you're doing or thinking for a moment or two and gently repeat to yourself,

I choose to be happy.

I choose to be happy.

And when you say and feel the energy behind those words,

I choose to be happy,

You feel your entire energy system change.

Your energy levels rise,

You hold your head a little higher,

A natural subtle smile starts spreading across your face and you notice that you are in control of how you feel.

You notice how powerful you are.

Every day in every way your world is becoming more and more wonderful,

More amazing,

More beautiful.

Every day your happy and positive thoughts are increasing.

You are aware that it is important to think happy and positive thoughts.

And so life seems easier,

Simpler,

Happier.

You choose to be happy and because it is your choice,

Your wonderful,

Powerful inner mind helps this happen.

Your unconscious mind has accepted all these suggestions,

Recognizing them to be positive and healthy and beneficial.

And as we near the end of this recording,

Your unconscious mind is integrating these wonderful suggestions,

Allowing them to become part of you,

Part of your inner world,

Part of your inner realities.

Always remember,

Happiness is a choice.

And so,

To end this relaxation session,

You'll find that in a moment or two,

You'll hear me count from one to ten.

With each ascending number between one and ten,

You become a little bit more aware and alert and awake.

At five,

Wiggle your fingers and toes,

At eight,

Gently open your eyes,

And at ten,

You're fully back.

Rested,

Refreshed,

Relaxed,

At peace and happier.

So at five,

Wiggle your fingers and toes,

At eight,

Gently open your eyes,

And at ten,

Fully back.

One,

Two,

Three,

Coming back up.

Four,

Five,

Fingers and toes,

Coming back up.

Six,

Seven,

Eight,

Eyes gently open,

Eyes gently open.

Nine,

Ten,

Wide awake,

Fully wide awake.
