So,

Finding a quiet,

Comfortable place where you can sit or lie down without distractions.

Ensure your environment is conducive to relaxation and focus.

You may choose to sit in a chair,

On a cushion,

Or lie down on a mat or in bed.

The key is to be comfortable and yet alert.

Gently bring your awareness to your eyes.

As you allow the eyes to close,

Gently relax the muscles around your eyes.

The eyes work so hard.

Gently allow them to relax and start to release all the muscles in your face.

Drive your awareness down into the upper body,

Noticing the breath,

The movement in the stomach,

In the chest as you breathe in and out.

Notice the out-breath relaxing you just a little.

Allow the flow of the breath and as you exhale,

Release.

With each exhalation,

Releasing,

Letting go,

Letting go,

Letting go.

Noticing how simple this is.

Noticing as you go deeper within,

The muscles of the body relaxing.

Just noticing a gentle and perhaps familiar sensation of heaviness starting to appear.

The heaviness appears as the muscles relax,

And as the muscles relax,

The heaviness appears.

Let's take a few moments to follow the breath,

Notice the exhalations taking you deeper.

Welcome and accept any heaviness.

In a moment,

I'm going to suggest some affirmations.

Repeat each affirmation slowly,

After me.

You can repeat silently and privately in your own mind,

Or if you wish to,

You can repeat each affirmation out loud.

With each repetition,

Focus on really believing in the words.

Perhaps visualise yourself embodying these affirmations,

Seeing yourself taking action,

Being productive,

Feeling confident.

The repetition of these positive statements can help shift your mindset from procrastination to motivation.

Repeating after me.

I am in control of my actions and decisions.

Every task I undertake is a step towards success.

I am motivated and focused on my goals.

Procrastination is a choice,

And I choose to be productive.

I find joy and satisfaction in completing my tasks.

My ability to conquer my challenges is limitless.

Today I choose to take positive steps forward.

Let's go through these affirmations once again.

Really feel them.

I am in control of my actions and decisions.

Every task I undertake is a step towards success.

I am motivated and focused on my goals.

Procrastination is a choice,

And I choose to be productive.

I find joy and satisfaction in completing my tasks.

My ability to conquer my challenges is limitless.

Today I choose to take positive steps forward.

Now let's spend a few moments reflecting on these affirmations.

Thinking about how these affirmations can be applied in your daily life.

Consider the tasks you have been putting off,

And how the affirmations can empower you to start and complete them.

Making it so much easier to overcome procrastination.

Or before starting a task that you've been delaying.

As we near the end of this meditation,

Decide now to bring back these positive changes.

Positive mental attitude.

Positive energy,

Remembering that you are always in control.

So bring your awareness to your feet,

Toes,

Hands,

Fingers and thumbs.

Bring in some movement.

Have a gentle stretch.

Take a slightly deeper awakening breath in and out.

And you can open your eyes.

Returning to a positive day.
