Welcome to meditation number four of the 30-day challenge.
A recap on what we've done so far and as you look back you will see that we've been building your meditation muscles.
Starting with single-pointed focus,
Me talking a lot and you focusing on various parts of the body and in doing so allowing you to stop other thoughts and to begin to build some space.
The following week we built on that space.
The week after which was last week we introduced some binaural beats to help you with brainwave activity and train the brain to get into a deeper meditative state spending more time in space more time in peace and all the while building more spaciousness within and when we do that you have more access to internal wisdom clarity less reactive life's just easier your sympathetic nervous system comes down a notch parasympathetic back online and wellness increases that's what all of the research says and it's incontrovertible meditation has fantastic health benefits great mental health benefits and is all-round associated with improved performance so what are we going to do this week well we're going to continue on in the same vein we're going to have more space it's going to be more time for you to sit with the space practice this ability to be present and focused but not thinking allowing the thoughts to come and to go there'll be binaural beats again but we will this week lower the frequency so it'll go down to four Hertz which is a Delta range that's the very lowest level of brainwave activity normally when we were in a deep REM sleep not much else to say about this week just enjoy it again there'll be a meditation with the binaural beat and a meditation without the binaural beat you just pick whichever one suits you if you're going to use binaural beats remember you have to wear headphones or earphones otherwise it might work the binaural beats will not be effective okay good luck and thank you for sticking with it and remember you can always go back and use any of these meditations that we've done at any time in any order there's no right or wrong there's no good nor bad but the more time you can spend present in a meditative state and observing or removed from the incessant brain activity that we've all become pretty much addicted to the better I hope you enjoyed by now
