An affirmation-based practice focused on letting go of judgment; of yourself, others and situations. This meditation encompasses simple breathwork, breathing naturally, but focusing on slowing down and deepening should you choose. Otherwise, simply relax and inhale and exhale naturally as instructed to fall into a beautiful breath sequence that will help encourage calmness and anchor you in the present moment. With love, Andrea Ashley

Welcome.

I'm so happy to have you here with me.

My name is Andrea Ashley and I'm going to be guiding you through a Releasing Judgment meditation.

So just know in this moment there is no longer anything that needs to be done.

Nothing that needs to be different.

You do not need to do something about every life experience you have.

Placing a right or wrong on it.

Categorizing it.

Judging it.

Putting it in a labeled box.

It can simply just be.

And from that mindset you can truly observe the situation for what it is.

When we are constantly judging ourselves and others,

We are constantly desiring more or less of something.

Constantly requesting and demanding change.

Striving for something rather than truly being in the moment or experience itself.

And this can bring us into a state of dissatisfaction.

We will always judge,

It's human nature,

It's what we do.

Take in information and decide how we feel about it.

However we can be mindful on what we choose to judge and how harshly we can decide to be free.

To free ourselves from constant judgment with a shift to acceptance.

Acceptance doesn't mean you give in or you settle,

You roll over.

It just simply means you are open to going through what is happening in a more peaceful light.

The shift of acceptance is to look at things as a gift.

A gift that you learn from,

Grow from,

And experience.

Begin now to make any final adjustments to the physical body so it's in a naturally comfortable position.

Let the eyes close if they haven't already and begin to bring your awareness to your breath.

Definitely beginning to slow it down and deepen it.

Let the eyes close if they haven't already and begin to bring your awareness to your breath.

We will now begin to breathe together.

Following along as best as you can as we breathe in positivity and exhale negativity to begin to let go and settle into our practice.

Inhale Exhale Inhale Exhale Inhale Exhale Inhale peace Exhale frustration Exhale flow Exhale resistance Inhale contentment Exhale dissatisfaction Exhale appreciation Exhale disapproval Inhale observance Exhale assumptions Exhale acceptance Exhale judgment Continue to breathe slowly and deeply visualizing letting go of frustration anger and judgment on every exhale.

Letting go of these feelings towards yourself.

Understanding you are always doing the best you know how.

Letting go of these feelings towards others.

Understanding they are always doing the best they know how.

Continuing to breathe slowly and deeply and silently repeat after me.

I am willing to release judgment.

I release the need to judge others and the habit of judging myself.

I love and accept myself.

I choose to accept rather than judge.

While I may not love all who enter my life I accept them for who they are.

I release the need to be right.

I am non-judgmental.

I will not be affected by others judgment of me.

I cannot be the perfect person to everyone.

Therefore I understand no one is perfect and I cannot expect them to be.

I release all negative thoughts I have about myself.

I release all negative thoughts I have about others.

I forgive myself realizing I'm doing the best I know how.

I forgive others understanding they are doing the best they know how.

I cannot judge something while still working toward change.

I let go of judgment and replace it with curiosity.

For every negative thought or comment I make I state five positive.

I will practice non-judgment.
