Hello,

It's time to take a nap.

But before you close your eyes,

Take a moment to stretch your body out.

Reach your arms above your head and stretch to the top of the bed.

Reach your legs towards the bottom of your bed and stretch your legs and arms away from each other.

See how long you can make your body.

Take a few deep breaths.

And as you breathe,

It might feel good to wiggle around a little bit.

Maybe stretch another part of your body.

And a few more deep breaths into your belly.

See if you can breathe so slow and so deep that as you inhale,

Your belly fills up like a big balloon.

And as you exhale,

All the air flows out.

A few more breaths like that.

Big inhale.

Big exhale.

Again,

Big inhale.

Big exhale.

Your eyes are starting to get sleepy and heavy.

It's safe for you to close your eyes now.

You can pull your blankie or your stuffy up close near your face and your ears and feel the softness and comfort.

Feel your body getting heavy and relaxed.

You're so cozy in your bed.

For right now,

There's nothing to do and nowhere to go.

So you can just settle in and rest.

If there's any part of your body that still feels wiggly,

You can invite that part to rest.

Resting your legs into the bed.

Resting your belly and your back into the bed.

Resting your arms and resting your head against your pillow.

Feel your whole body settled.

Totally rested.

If you're not feeling sleepy yet,

It's okay.

Just keep softening.

Imagine your softness just spreading out on the bed and sinking into the bed,

Taking up more space in your bed.

Your thoughts are starting to get relaxed.

Your mind feels safe,

Comfortable,

And at ease.

Everything softening.

You feel a coziness all around your body.

You feel like you can just let go.

Breathing deeper into the bed.

Just keep softening.

Just relaxing.

And just being.

Can you soften your legs a little more?

Can you relax your arms a little more?

Your belly a little more.

Can you let your head sink even more into your pillow?

Feel yourself joining your bed and your bed joining you.

You relax together.

There's nothing to do.

Nowhere to go.

For now you can just rest and breathe and soften.

You can keep resting for as long as you need.

Puzzle handling through deep dreams.

You
