Use these affirmations to help you cultivate or work towards acceptance.

Know that acceptance can be a complex and layered process.

It can take time and effort to get to a point where you're fully able to release a limiting belief or resistance to certain circumstances.

In doing this work you may find that you're not in a place where you can even consider acceptance as a possibility.

That's okay.

Be kind and gentle with yourself,

Meeting yourself where you're at here and now.

It's important not to force,

Push,

Or become attached to a specific outcome.

Use this as an opportunity to observe,

Allowing whatever comes to the surface to happen organically and at your own pace.

If the following affirmations don't resonate with you or they cause you resistance,

Alter the verbiage so that they are in true alignment with where you're at.

For example,

If you're not ready to say I choose acceptance in this situation,

You can change that to I am not yet ready to choose acceptance in this situation,

Or I will try to choose acceptance in this situation.

Keep note of the ones that cause resistance as they can shed more light on areas that need discovery or attention.

You can repeat the affirmations aloud or to yourself,

Whatever feels best for you,

But really feel the words as you speak them and notice if you feel them in certain areas of your body.

Let's begin.

Come to a comfortable seated position and close your eyes if that feels right.

Notice your breath.

On your next inhale,

Breathe deeply into your belly and then your chest.

Release the air on your exhale through your mouth with an audible sigh.

Do this twice more on your own.

Keep your head aligned over your neck and slightly tuck your chin.

Allow your shoulders to drop away from your ears,

Opening up your chest.

Release any muscle tension you're holding in your body,

Shaking out your hands and feet.

Return to relaxed stillness and repeat the following.

I choose acceptance in this situation.

I choose to release any resistance to the reality of what is.

I choose to release that which is out of my control.

I do my best and that is enough.

I can control my reaction and any action I choose to take from this point forward.

I choose to release any judgment or blame that I am carrying regarding this situation.

I choose to let go of that which does not serve me.

I choose to release any attachment to outcomes.

I choose to extend grace to myself and anyone else who may play a part.

I am empowered to take action aligned with the highest version of myself.

It's up to me to decide the direction I go in from here.

I am resilient and strong.

I trust myself.

I honor my needs.

I choose to focus on the things that are important to me and me joy.

I can overcome great challenges.

Practicing acceptance will help me to move forward.

I accept the reality of what is.

I am worthy of peace and love.

I love and accept myself.

Take a deep breath into your belly and release it out with an audible sigh.

Blink your eyes open if they're closed,

Returning to your surroundings.

You may find it helpful to take this time to journal about your experience or anything you're feeling in this moment.

May you carry peace with you wherever you go.

Thank you for listening.

Soothing to the deeper layers of what I’m going through. Timely to listen, because it was time for me to find I am ready for this level of exeptance.
