Welcome.
This is Anupashyanti.
And today we are going to relax and lean back into the luminous void of pure consciousness.
Where we will discover our true nature and dissolve into the infinite peace within.
Now,
The key is to be very gentle and allowing here.
Because the more we strive to reach a goal,
Or try to force it,
The less it will work.
But do not be fooled.
This is possible for you.
It's actually the easiest thing in the world.
All you have to do is relax,
Lean back,
And surrender to who you truly are.
So,
Begin by allowing your body to relax and really come into the present moment.
You can put your awareness in your body and feel all the sensations there.
From your head to your toes.
Just allowing it all to be as it is.
You may notice that your breath is slowing naturally as you relax.
You'll notice you spend more time in stillness after the exhale and before inhaling.
Because your body naturally needs less oxygen.
Just allow it to slow on its own.
No need to control.
In fact,
Now would be a great time to thank your mind for its ever-helpful service,
And then give it something else to do.
Tell it nicely,
But firmly,
To take a break,
Take a nap,
And you'll be here when it wakes up.
And I will tell you the story of the Luminous Void.
The Tibetans call this the Ösel,
The clear light of existence.
It is a light that has no color,
Even transparent,
Though it shines brighter than any other light that exists.
The Sufis call it the Nur Al Aswad,
The dazzling darkness,
Or the black light.
This light is so bright it is blinding,
Which is why it appears dark.
It's like becoming blind from staring at the sun.
And quantum physics calls it the Zero Point Field,
Where unlimited energy exists before taking on form.
It is the field of unrealized possibilities,
The fullness of the void,
Pregnant with possibility.
So we are going to lean back into the void now,
Not marching forward or striving for any goal,
But falling backwards into the Luminous Void that is pure peace.
Still breathing slowly and gently,
Sink down into the stillness around you,
And really start to let go.
Allow the body to relax even more.
Your mind is resting,
And yet you are very awake.
Feel the tension leave your forehead as your thoughts fade away.
Sense the ocean of pure peace and stillness all around you,
In each and every one of your cells,
Underneath all that exists.
Imagine your brain has turned into a pile of snowflakes,
And watch them just melt and dissolve in the ocean of peace and stillness around you.
You notice your thoughts have melted away too.
Stillness pervades.
You feel so safe now,
And held by the divine,
That you can imagine all the cells of your body turning into snowflakes as well.
Very gently,
With complete trust in the infinite,
Sense as all of those snowflakes dissolve,
As they melt into the ocean of peace and tranquility.
Your entire being has melted into your divine source,
And yet you still exist.
You are still aware of existing,
Of being completely at peace.
Everything is completely still.
There is no more movement.
No more form.
And now that you're one with the stillness,
You realize that it is actually teeming with life.
It's vibrating ever so subtly in the exquisite bliss of mere existence.
This is pure consciousness.
Aware,
Awake,
Alive,
And eternal.
This is you.
Here you are immortal.
Here you are one with all things.
And the power of this peace,
This infinity,
Is unshakable.
The darkness seems to glow with an innate,
Transparent,
Or clear light.
And it's so bright,
It's blinding.
And so you surrender completely,
Finally becoming the peace that envelops you.
From this state of stillness,
From this ocean of profound peace,
From this luminous void of pure potential,
You understand that everything is possible.
And yet,
Right now,
Nothing needs to happen.
Everything is perfect just as it is.
You have absorbed this blinding,
Transparent light,
This glowing,
Conscious darkness.
You have melted into it,
And you realize you are experiencing the pure joy of existence.
You are free beyond bounds.
We will end with stillness.
You can remain here as long as you wish.
Namaste,
My friend.
