Good morning.
This is your five minute breath work practice to help you feel energized,
Ready to take on your day and also to set an intention for your day.
Feel free to be seated with your feet flat on the ground or you can also lie down for this practice.
You're just going to start by taking some gentle deep breaths in through your nose and exhale out of your mouth.
In through your nose.
Out your mouth.
In through your nose.
And out your mouth.
Couple more.
Last one.
Good.
Now we're going to move into the active breathing portion.
You're going to be taking two inhales with your open mouth.
The first inhale will come from your diaphragm,
Your belly.
And the second inhale will come from your chest and then you're going to exhale.
Belly heart exhale.
This technique will help you feel energized.
It's very common to feel a tingling sensation all over your body.
You'll notice energy running through your body.
Belly heart exhale.
So what we're doing is we're oxygenating our body.
We're also allowing our mind,
Our brain to release hormones,
Endorphins that are going to make us feel good and ready to take on our day.
It's also a great way to feel motivated and excited about your day.
And it will also help you to release any stress you may be experiencing knowing that you have a busy day ahead of you.
It's going to allow you to get focused,
To get centered,
And to harness your energy.
Keep on breathing,
Belly heart exhale.
You're going to start to notice physical sensations in your body,
That tingling,
A vibration.
Notice your vitality,
Your energy,
Your power.
We have one more minute of active breathing.
So really take in even more air with each inhale and fully exhale all of the carbon dioxide.
Belly heart exhale.
Good job with the active breathing.
We're now going to transition into a resting breath,
Which is just breathing normally in through your nose and out through your nose.
And during this time of resting,
Set an intention for your day.
How do you want to feel today?
How do you want your day to look like?
And continue doing a long inhale through your nose and exhale through your nose.
Thank you so much for starting your day with me today and wishing you a beautiful day full of ease and flow.
And if at any point the day starts to feel stressful or challenging,
Remember that you can always return to your breath.
Have a beautiful day.
