Welcome to alchemizing your anxiety.

Anxiety can feel so much bigger than us,

It can make us feel like we've lost our grasp on control and it can leave us feeling completely powerless.

In this practice we will alchemize your anxiety into empowerment,

Self-agency.

So let's start by regulating the nervous system and coming back to a place of balance in whatever way that is possible for you to access right now.

And I invite you to get up right now,

To stand up.

Feel how both your feet are standing firmly in the ground.

Now I invite you to gently bend your knees and start to move your legs.

Move your legs up and down,

Move your hips left to right.

Continue breathing comfortably and consciously while you are gently moving your lower body.

Now I invite you to also include your upper body.

Start to move and sway your arms around.

Start to move and wiggle your torso,

Your bum,

Swirl your neck around,

Shake your head up and down,

Left to right or in any direction you feel like moving it.

Now continue to shake,

Jump,

Move your body as you are bringing your awareness to the anxiety that's within you.

Imagine you are like an animal after a stressful encounter that just shakes it all off.

Imagine you are expelling this energy through the tips of your fingers,

Through the soles of your feet and out through your mouth.

Now take a deep and comfortable breath in and as you release it,

Make some noise,

Any noise.

Beautiful.

Allow the anxiety to not be stagnant and building up inside of you but allow it to move through you and out of you,

Making your movements more subtle,

Slower until you've reached a point where you are moving so subtly that if I could see you right now I wouldn't even tell that you are moving with such small tiny movements.

And whenever your body longs for stillness you can come back to complete stillness and stop moving.

Take a comfortable breath in and release and notice how you feel now.

Find yourself in a comfortable seat or you can also choose to lay down and we're going to connect with our heart now.

So if you want placing one or both hands on your heart and just giving yourself a moment to just take a break,

To turn inwards,

To shift from your head or the pit in your stomach in your heart.

Feeling the warmth and the spaciousness like a deep endless ocean that is your heart.

Still being aware of your anxiety if it's still present and noticing if you can feel curious,

Calm,

Compassionate towards your anxious part inside of you.

Connecting with this part.

Look into its eyes and let it know that you are here and that you hear them.

Notice if you get any response back,

An acknowledgement and you can ask them why they are activated,

What is their purpose,

What are they trying to do here?

And then asking them is there anything that they need in this moment?

Anything you can help provide them?

Setting the intention on providing it for them during the rest of the day and letting them know that this burden is now out of their hands and that you got this under control.

Notice and feel your self-agency,

Your feeling of self,

Your empowerment being called back to you.

Breathe in a sense of strength and breathe out any left feelings of weakness.

Breathe in love and trust and release any left fear and gently becoming aware again of your whole body,

The whole back of your body.

This line running from the back of your skull all the way down to the back of your ankles.

Allowing your body to soften and gently opening your eyes and coming back into your space.

Opening your eyes to be really curious about the room that you are in right now.

Allowing your gaze to follow your curiosity.

Thank you so much for practicing with me today.

It's been an honor to guide you,

Sending you a lot of love and I'll see you next time.
